My older cat is 12 and used to have behavioral problems (although he's a sweetheart now), so I have experience with aggressive cats as well as with more senior cats. My other cat has had health problems that required daily medication. About: When I was 8, my family adopted a senior dog from Muttville named Lady. She was blind and deaf, and very high maintenance. I cared for her by helping make her food, carrying her up and down stairs, and gave her so much love up until she passed away. During their stay I will take your dog between my homes in sf and napa, where they will hang out as I tend to housekeeping. Your dog will go on at least two daily walks with me and my dog, Sparky. Sometimes we go on outings to the beach or park (where your dog will always be on a leash). I have a fenced yard at both houses. I take dogs for multiple walks per day in the neighborhood or at the park. Your dogs can sleep on the furniture or with us in bed if they enjoy a good cuddle

I love all animals and have grown particularly fond of small dogs since my dog was gifted to me 12 years ago! I only work 3 days a week and on the days I’m home, I’d love to care for your small dog! My girl is used to dogs visiting and I am happy to love on your baby like my own! Dogs are allowed on couches and beds. I never allow them in the backyard without supervision and is not a substitution for regular walks every 2 hours (or more as needed). I will ask you questions about your pet's needs and preferences so that I can give the best care for them. These questions include food, potty, and rest schedule or queues for me to look for that are unique to your pet, preferences for play and affection, any rules that you prefer I follow (for example: specific commands or release words to eat), any medications or treats and how/when to give, etc. I used Rover for cat sitting services before I became a sitter and I loved communicative sitters who took many photos and gave detailed updates. About: My dog will come along on walks with me! If your dog needs a walking buddy or just someone to accompany, she does just that- and I do just that as well! Cookie is an 8 year old small poodle mix terrier. She’s super sweet, great temperament, calm, and not-aggressive. Best experienced with small to medium sized dogs, low to medium energy levels. We frequent Mountain Lake park, Lake Street, and Golden Gate Park! I’m currently on a work leave, so I’m flexible with walks up to 30/40 minutes. My dog can either accompany or not accompany us on our walks. I have one small dog at my house with me to accompany your dog, and a small backyard to run around in. My dog is well taken care of with plenty of toys and 3 walks a day! Our mid-day walks go up to 30/40 minutes.

“Alina was awesome and went above and beyond. My cat had a medical scare and stopped eating for three days and Alina was really awesome and took her into our vet to make sure she was okay. After that event I offered to pick her up early because i felt bad about the extra stress but she was reassuring and was totally fine for me to stick with the original time. I could tell my cat got the best care and treatment including administering oral medication which can be hard to do. I give her my best recommendation!”

“My girl Beadie (7 years old, 9 lb, very timid) recently with Maria for nine days, and it went so much better than I was worried about (I'm a worrier, and this was only the second time we left her and the first was only two days). She was incredibly communitive, sent us a ton of updates (pictures, videos, and words), treated our girl in the way she's comfortable with - taking it slow, not crowding her, etc. Maria's dog Sparky was probably a little more high energy than Beadie would have liked (what she prefers is very low, so this definitely isn't saying Sparky is crazy high energy), but they definitely got along and I wasn't concerned about that. She was also very flexible when we missed a flight and needed to leave her for an extra night. All in all, I highly recommend. I really don't like leaving my girl at all, but I was much more comfortable with Maria taking care of her than I expected or even hoped.”
