“Halle takes care of my cat Mocha. She is always very responsive and accommodating. I highly appreciate she shares with me by text her observations when she comes over on my cats health I could be worried about + shares how her visit went :) I therefore highly recommend her.”

“Nicole really went above and beyond caring for our 3 (very needy and attention hungry!) cats. She was easy to communicate with and reliable, but what we appreciated the most was that she spent extra time beyond the minimum required by Rover hanging out with them. She sent plenty of updates with photos and videos letting us know they were in good hands, and even administered oral medication to one of our cats. We will definitely be reaching out to Nicole for future cat sitting as well as recommending her to anyone who needs care for their pets!”

“Rachel was amazing with my 4 month old energetic pup! He is not leash trained yet, and she was very patient with him. She communicated well and sent great photos. I would definitely recommend her!”

“Taylor was fantastic. She did drop one for my dog 2 days in a row. She even came over to meet him ahead of time bc i was a little nervous (he had recently had surgery and was still in come/recovery suit). Would highly recommend and rebook.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and currently own a 1-year-old Australian Shepherd, so I have plenty of experience caring for high-energy breeds and young dogs. Because my dad bred dogs throughout my childhood, I was exposed to caring for puppies and dogs with a variety of personalities from a young age. I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, administering basic medications, reinforcing training routines, and providing lots of exercise and enrichment. As a pet owner myself, I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else’s care, and I treat every pet as if they were my own! I’m currently a graduate student with a flexible schedule, which means I have plenty of availability throughout the day for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always follow owners instructions closely, maintain pets’ normal routines, and will provide regular updates with photos. I have experience handling high-energy dogs through raising my Australian Shepherd, and I’m comfortable with crate training, administering basic medications, and reinforcing training routines!
“Celine did such an incredible job with our dog Harley. She was beyond patient and caring. We look forward to having her back. Thank you SO much Celine! A+ work! So communicative too!”

“Angela took great care of my boys while I was away for a weekend trip. My doggies are usually pouty when I leave them for more than a few hours and they acted like I never left! Angela was also great with communication and very prompt to respond.”

About: I’ve taken care of two malamutes from puppy stage to adult stage. Very intuitive with dogs as far as noticing issues that might be bothering them. I currently work primarily for Instacart. So my schedule is 100 % flexible. If I am available when you need help with your animal I will be happy to help If I am taking care of a pet at a clients home I will make sure that the house is dog safe so that nothing in the home gets damaged or misused.

“Katie was wonderful with our two cats over Christmas. It was very difficult with the storms, but once those cleared it was smooth sailing! She took good care of Jojo’s eyes and medicine. We were a little worried at first about his eye care since she had beautiful long nails art, but she really found a way to clean his eyes well and give eye drops! Thank you, Katie!”

“Sarah has been such a wonderful dog caretaker for my pup! She is incredibly attentive and always makes sure to spend quality time playing and giving lots of belly rubs, which my dog absolutely loves. I really appreciate how efficient and thoughtful she is during her drop-in visits, especially when it comes to taking my senior dog out for a potty break. Sarah is genuinely kind and caring, and it shows in how excited my dog gets to see her each week. It gives me peace of mind, knowing my pup is in such good hands. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate dog walker.”

About: Hi there, I’m back after taking a break from Dog Boarding. My name is Jennifer and I live with a Chihuahua Mix named Link. He's 14 years old and loves to be with other small dogs! I would love to board you little friend (Only Small Dogs under 12 Pounds allowed) in my sunny apartment for a couple of days, weeks or even a month. Only dogs over 2 years ( no puppies sorry and only potty train). During the morning I'll take the dog for a long walk. We usually go to Alta Plaza,Lafayette park, Alamo Square or Mountain Lake Park. Everyday, Link (my dog) gets to socialize with other dogs and do a lot of exercise. Your dog will get 100% of my attention! I have experience with older dogs too, giving their medication in time is not a problem. Please let me know about any diet restriction and I will respect it. I allow them on the couch and even on the bed but I always clean their paws before entering home. Can't wait to meet you little doggy! I'm a full time pet sitter so every morning I'll take the dogs for a walk and will be more potty breaks every 4 hours in the afternoon. Your dog will be outdoors very often if they're staying with me. I'm also available for dog walking and cat sitting all day from 7am until 8.30pm. I created a fun space at home with dog beds, toys and blankets that are comfortable for the dog that's staying with us and I live in a two bedroom apartment with plenty of space to play and have fun!
“Bibianna is an incredibly kind and caring sitter. She connected with our cats right away and took excellent care of them. She was very communicative and sent daily photo updates, which we really appreciated. We would absolutely book her again.”

About: Took a break from Rover due to a move, but I’m back! I am a caring individual with a lifelong love for dogs! Having grown up surrounded by pups (I had 2 husky’s), I will bring knowledge, attention, and joy to your furry friends. I currently work from home and during the day, I like to take breaks for walks and visit in nearby parks. I have flexibility before and after work hours as well. I assure you, I will keep your pet safe and listen to any guidelines you set. The dog I grew up with was an escape artist, so I definitely understand boundaries with dogs!
“Genna was a gem! She arrived when she said she would and would keep me informed if she was going to be earlier or later. Although our kitty has trust issues and wouldn't let Genna pet her, Genna let her proceed at her own pace, offerring a comforting presence which eventually meant our kitty quit hiding when Genna arrived. We got pictures and commentary every day to let us know how it was going, and she was very accommodating if I had a special request. So glad we found Genna and I felt very comfortable that Genna had the experience, skills, and caring attitude to take care of our baby for over the 2 wks we were away. Would definitely select Genna again.”

About: My prior experience as a dog walker, doggy daycare attendant, dog bather & dog bakery associate have equipped me with many skills necessary for caring for dogs! I’m familiar with administering medication, catering to restrictive diets, routine walks and much more! Caring for my own dogs as well as for others has always been a positive experience for me and I would love to share these positive experiences with the community. Providing pet parents with a sense of security while pets are in my care and building a foundation of trust is a top priority as well as making sure your dogs are receiving the love and compassion they deserve! I currently work part time in property management. This schedule is also client based but is in its early stages of generating more clientele at the moment. An opportunity with Rover is the perfect way for me to still provide excellent services within the community while spending time with pets and meeting their needs! All pets are met with the same attentiveness & compassion! I am comfortable administering oral medication, being compliant with dietary restrictions, & assistance with crating, etc. While providing pet care services over the years I have seen how valuable a simple check in with an owner can be and how good communication and trust can contribute to a positive experience!
“I will absolutely book Jocelyn again. She is a great communicator and my Golden retriever loved her. And she took lots of pics for me to obsess over after the visit. Thank you Jocelyn!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Pacific Heights
We had a wonderful experience with Xinyuan! She took exceptional care of Nema while we were away, really taking the time to bond with her. We loved receiving the clear updates, photos, and videos she sent throughout the trip—it gave us total peace of mind. We will absolutely be using her services again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a fantastic pet sitter!

Highly recommend Natalie for kitty-sitting. She is thorough, attentive, and somehow won over my ultra-shy kitty! I received updates and tons of pictures of Natalie cleaning litter, refilling food and water, and playing with the kitties. She also went above and beyond to accommodate a key handoff while I was out of town. Thank you Natalie!!

David has watched our cats couple of times now - most recently this past Friday, July 10th—and we cannot recommend him highly enough. He takes incredible care of our cats, ensuring they are happy, comfortable, and well-attended to every single visit. Beyond being a fantastic pet sitter, David is exceptionally observant and proactive with home care. During a previous visit, he noticed a few fruit flies starting to appear in the kitchen and, on his own initiative, set up an apple cider vinegar trap. Because of his quick thinking, the issue was caught early and completely managed by the time we got home. It is rare to find a sitter who is equally dedicated to the well-being of your pets and the maintenance of your home. We always return to very happy cats and a perfectly kept house. If you are looking for someone responsible, proactive, and genuinely caring, hire David!
Kelly was an amazing watcher for Tyson during his time. I have a very fussy Chihuahua and only certain people and women with a good energy will allow him to thrive & give him the right space. He is also a little bit of an elderly Chihuahua so the special care she gave when he couldn’t see and his vitamins and food, as well as creating comfortable accommodations for him like letting him sleep in the bed was super helpful. She’s super responsible and communicative and quick to respond when I needed someone urgent! Tyson loves Kelli!!
