About: All my life I wanted a dog but we couldn’t afford one growing up. As an adult I’ve never lived without a dog, until last year when I had to lay my service dog Tuxie of 11.5years to sleep. He had cancer on the roof of his mouth, so his journey was quite difficult. I am a little knowledgeable on old dog care, but would love a refresher on whatever your baby may need. I am also CPR certified for adults children and dog/cat. I work Monday through Friday 6am-3/4pm ( so I’m available for afternoon/evening walks and check ins! I currently work full time in the mornings, but I’m usually free after 3:30/4pm. I live less than 15 minute walk away from my job , and normally walk or public trans everywhere. After work I am entirely free for a walk, dog park, food time, belly rubs, anything. I typically work Monday-Friday from 6am-3pm and off on weekends. Unfortunately I do not have a yard of my own, as I live in a tiny 150sqft mini studio. There are multiple parks near me with beautiful views all around. I live on the border of the financial district and Chinatown. I normally lead a fairly quiet and laid back life. My complex is also a closed building, so it’s super safe.

About: I love dogs and have a cockapoo of my own called Ah Chu. I have been taking care of him for over a year since he was a puppy. I will treat your baby like mine. My schedule is flexible so feel free to let me know when and how I can help in advance or on the same day. Meet and greet will help me to understand how to best care for your baby. For drop in visits, we will arrange meet and greet first to understand how your baby would like to play, frequency to go potty, number of snack breaks, or any other needs. I will follow the instructions strictly and provide updates.

About: I’ve been around and had animals my whole life and have been a go to person for friends, family, and neighbors whenever they need someone to watch their pets. Whether it’s a midday walk, a feeding, or an overnight stay, I treat every animal like one of my own. I’m comfortable with animals of all sizes and energy levels, from high-energy pups who need a real workout to the older cats who just love pets, company and a consistent routine. I’m reliable with timing, happy to follow whatever feeding or medication schedule you have, and I’ll always send updates and photos to know what your animal is up to! If you have a shy or anxious pet, I’m patient about letting them warm up at their own pace. My goal is for your animal to be relaxed and happy, and for you to be able do you! I currently work part time, so I have plenty of time to care for your pets throughout the day. I’m available on weekdays and weekends, and I’m happy to work around your dog or cat’s regular feeding, walking, and play routine so their day stays as normal as possible while you’re away. I care for pets in the comfort of their own home, where they feel safest. I keep their space clean, stick to their usual feeding, walking, and litter routine, and make sure doors, gates, and windows stay secure. I’m attentive and calm around animals, and I send regular photo updates so you always know your pet is safe and happy.
“Joslyn was amazing with my cats. She was very professional and ensured to take care of my house and also ensuring the cats had everything they needed. My fearful cat only took one day to settle in and come out for pets from Joslyn. Will definitely work with her again when next I need a sitter.”

“Angela was really good with my dog. She was very interested in learning more about him, his medications, his behavior and preferences. She had great communication skills, very responsive and kept me updated along the way on her status, her arrival, etc. My boy took to her quickly and was very comfortable with her. She seemed to be very knowledgeable which was a plus give my dog has some medical issues. In all, we were very happy with the experience of working with her, and look forward to having her back in the future!”

About: I’ve taken care of all dogs, and had an English Cream Golden Retriever named Lucy growing up. I trained her as a puppy and cared for her all the way into senior care. I’m great with all pet ages, don’t mind washing/cleaning your pet, giving long walks, or anything else your pet loves to do. I will always make sure your pet has the best time when they’re with me! Pet care is best for me from Thursdays - Sundays, as well as holidays. I work full time in person, but get half days on Fridays. I make sure to write down everything about the dog. Eating schedule, bathroom schedule, etc. Recently, I just set up a camera for the dog I just dogsat to make sure nothing is going wrong. I clean the dog’s paws to ensure that they aren’t dirtying the home. I also vacuum and wipe down once a day. I would love to meet you and your pet!
“Maria did such an amazing job taking care of my cat while I was away. She was super communicative and gave great updates and pictures, and gave my cat lots of pets and love--when we came home our cat was happy and in a great mood thanks to Maria's amazing care. Thank you again Maria!”

About: Hi, I’m Melissa! I’ve lived in North Beach for two years now and honestly, I think I spend more time greeting the neighborhood dogs than the people. I grew up in a house full of pets (everything from frogs to 60 lb pit-mixes), so a home doesn't quite feel right without a wagging tail. I currently work from home, which means I have plenty of flexibility to give your pup my full attention. Whether it’s a high-energy trek around Washington Square Park or a slow, senior-paced stroll through the neighborhood, I’m your girl. My family dog back home, Maddie, is a 12-year-old ball of energy who taught me everything I know about handling strong, enthusiastic walkers. Whether it’s a small dog with a big personality or a large, high-energy breed like the pit mixes I grew up with, I’m comfortable and confident handling dogs of every size and temperament. I’m big on routine, plenty of treats, and even more dog hugs. I can’t wait to meet your furry best friend! Since I work remotely with a very flexible schedule, I’m able to make your pet’s care a natural part of my day. I’m wide open in the afternoons and weekends for long, leisurely walks or extended play sessions. Whether it’s a high-energy fetch session at Washington Square Park or just hanging out at home for some midday company, I have the time and flexibility to ensure your pet never feels lonely or restless. Safety is my top priority, and I treat your home and pets with the same care I give my own. When I’m with your dog, they have my full attention. Whether we’re hanging out while I work or exploring North Beach. I’m a firm believer in 'leash-only' walks and always keep a respectful distance from other dogs unless I know yours is a social butterfly. I stick strictly to your feeding and medication schedules (no table scraps, no exceptions!) to ensure their routine stays perfectly intact while you’re away.

About: I’ve been a lifelong dog lover and proud dog mom to my Jack Russell Terrier for 16 amazing years, so I’ve been through it all - puppy energy, training moments, senior snuggles, and everything in between! 🤍 I’m also the go-to dog auntie for my friends and family, which has given me lots of hands-on experience with different breeds, personalities, routines, and needs. Whether your pup is playful and high-energy, a little shy at first, or in their sweet senior era, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for. I truly treat every dog like they’re my own - with patience, attention, lots of love, and plenty of tail-wag worthy care. 🤍🐾 I’m available for weekend boarding from Friday evening through Sunday evening, as well as dog walking/doggy day-care on Saturdays and Sundays. I love giving pups attention, playtime, walks, cuddles, and downtime based on what makes them happiest. If you share their usual routine, I’m happy to keep them on schedule so they feel comfortable and right at home! ❤️ Safety and trust are really important to me, especially when I’m caring for someone else’s dog. On walks, I’m always attentive and present—keeping dogs securely leashed, avoiding unsafe areas, and paying close attention to their behavior, energy levels, and surroundings. I tailor each walk to the dog, whether that means a slower, gentler pace for seniors or a more active walk for high-energy pups. I’m also mindful of things like weather, busy streets, and other dogs to make sure every walk feels safe and comfortable. In your home, I’m respectful of your space and always follow any specific instructions closely. My goal is for you to feel completely at ease knowing your dog is in caring, reliable hands.
About: Hi, I'm Femke. A lifelong animal lover, I’ve been the go-to pet sitter and dog walker for friends, family, and neighbors for almost a decade. What started as a hobby quickly became something I couldn’t imagine not doing. Now, I’m excited to turn my passion for dogs into a full-time career, preparing for a degree in Cynology (dog behavior) next year. With hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, I’ve developed a calm, patient, and intuitive approach. I’ve walked high-energy pups who need structure and stimulation, cared for seniors who require slower walks and medication, and provided companionship to anxious or shy dogs who just need someone gentle and understanding. I’m confident in handling leash reactivity, administering basic medications, and keeping routines consistent to help dogs feel safe and secure. My focus is always on building trust, so your dog feels comfortable with me, and fully enjoys the time we spend together. I’m studying part-time to prepare for my Cynology (dog behavior) degree next year, and have no other major commitments - your dog gets my full attention. My days revolve around walks, drop-ins, and overnight stays, so I’m available on weekdays, weekends, and (most) holidays. Your pet’s safety is my top priority. I take the time to build trust with each dog, starting with a meet-and-greet to understand their routines, triggers, and preferences. During walks, I always use secure leashes and harnesses and stick to safe, familiar routes. I will not do off-leash unless in client-approved spaces and with your explicit consent. When caring for pets in your home, I maintain your routines, respect your space, and provide real-time updates with photos and notes, so you’re always in the loop. My goal is to give you peace of mind and give your dog(s) the care and companionship they deserve.

Joslyn was wonderful. I had to go out of town last minute, and was worried about leaving my 2 young kitties. A few of my cat gadgets broke while I was gone, and she ended up having to clean up their mess, but she was so gracious. Would absolutely trust her to watch my babies again!

Rachel is amazing!! She is thoughtful and responsive and clearly cares about my kitten! My girl also obviously has the best time playing with Rachel and is happy to have her come by. Rachel’s updates are thorough and I feel complete peace of mind when traveling. Couldn’t recommend her as a cat sitter enough!

Amazing care for my cats. I will definitely be a repeat customer. She went above and beyond and ensured my cats were happy and healthy, being diligent about food, water, and even socializing with them. she is an excellent communicator. I would highly recommend Marianna
Xinyuan was so reliable, kind, and meticulous. Highly recommended! She sent several photos and videos after every visit and was so caring, taking the time to play with my cat who was lonely the week I was away. She also vacuumed up all the tracked litter! Nice to come home to clean floors.

Liz was an absolute DREAM! She took such good care of my cat while I was gone for 2 weeks. I was so nervous to be gone for so long, but Liz put me at ease with her thoughtful questions, updates and pictures she sent. Liz fed my cat, played with her, and took care of her litter and water exactly how I preferred. She even noticed something in my apartment, let me know and handled it. She left my apartment very clean and I truly could not recommend her more!! I will definitely be booking with her again :)

Leaving another review for Hillary because she has been absolutely amazing and so flexible with our kitties for multiple last minute requests! One of our kitties is on chemo and needs multiple meds, and it’s such a relief to have someone as trustworthy, kind, and careful as Hillary to check on him while we’re away.

Samantha is a true kitten whisperer and Rover pro! At first, we were nervous to leave our brand new kitten for 3 days… but after meeting Samantha, we immediately knew he was in GREAT hands and our nerves were completely settled the entire weekend away. Samantha was easy to book with, had no trouble accessing our building, and quickly picked up on where his food was and any other details she needed. She was incredibly communicative and she sent us many adorable photos and videos each visit and gave us a full intro and recap of the day. She really knocked it out of the park for us and we will be using Samantha again!!!
