About: I am a responsible, experienced dog/cat owner-lover and will treat yours like my own. I was raised in a family that had dogs including 3 dachshunds, a mutt, and a chow over the years. As an adult I have been the loving pet parent to three adult cats consecutively. Very comfortable around cats and dogs. About: Very Important Stuff: I take care of dogs up to 20 pounds. I will be home the whole time, and your dog will never be alone. Most importantly, l only take 1 dog at a time to be fully attentive to your dog's needs. I do not take dogs that have ongoing medical needs, separation anxiety, hyperactivity, or excessive barking. Your dog must be potty trained to go on a schedule. I also ask that your dog be up to date in vaccinations to ensure a healthy environment. Lastly, meet and greets are required for boarding for dogs that have never stayed overnight with me before; and I like to do it way ahead of your booking date so that you have the flexibility to find another sitter if we are not a good match. About: I grew up with a dog my entire life and used to dog sit for my neighborhood. I adopted a beautiful sick senior dog in 2010 when she was 7. She came from an abusive home, lost her hearing and lost eye sight in one eye. I loved and cared for her until she had to leave this world in 2013. Angela was wonderful on her very first walk with my dog. She was calm, attentive, and immediately put me at ease with how thoughtfully she approached him. My dog is young and high-energy, and Angela handled him confidently while still being gentle and patient. Tapan was absolutely great at walking Maui, there were absolutely no hitches with the instructions and he went above and beyond in taking care of Maui. He even asked me if she needs to be fed anything mid day when I was at work. It really shows his love and care for animals and I would boom Tapan again!!
Claire is an excellent dog walker! She met with Lucy and I for a meet and greet walk and really listened about our dogs unique habits, what commands to use and things to avoid. She was already looking out for "street snacks" of dropped food and keeping our dog from eating them. She has experience with reactive dogs and how to avoid them while walking Lucy. She was great with sending us updates each day after each walk. She even texted us when Lucy had some muddy paws from pouncing on dirt at the park and cleaned her paws off when she dropped her back off at our house (something we really appreciate with our white rug). 5/5 stars, 100% would book again.
We had such a wonderful first experience with Marissa. We actually met her at a dog park last week and we were immediately struck by how naturally our dog connected with her.
