About: I’m a 42-year-old gay dog lover who recently said goodbye to my own pup after 13 incredible years together. Caring for my dog has always been one of the best parts of my life, and I genuinely love getting to know every breed, quirk, zoomie level, and cuddle style out there. Pet care has been part of my daily routine for years. I recently lost my dog after 13 wonderful years together, and before that we took at least three walks a day — everything from quick neighborhood strolls to longer adventures exploring different parts of San Francisco together. I genuinely miss having a little shadow by my side, so caring for and walking dogs still feels like a natural and meaningful part of my everyday life. I love getting to know each dog’s personality, energy, and favorite routines. I focus on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in both my home and theirs. I follow each dog’s routine closely — including walks, feeding, medications, playtime, and cuddle preferences — while giving them plenty of attention, affection, exercise, and calm energy. I also love sending photo updates so owners know their pups are happy and well cared for.

“Yeji is great! She's reliable, flexible, and communicative. My dog took a liking to her immediately. He's not the easiest dog to walk, and she picked up on how to handle him quickly. Highly recommend!”

About: I understands how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family member. I provide reliable, loving care and treat every dog as if they’re my own. My goal is to provide safe, attentive, and personalized care so you can feel completely confident while you’re away. I currently working part time to take care of my mother. I usually take my dogs to doggie park for an hour in the morning. And I will walk them 30 min in the evening. I have a fenced yard and 2 dogs to keep your dog company. And I also have a daughter who loves to play with dogs.
About: I had a dog growing up as a child and have taken care of my friends dogs numerous times. I also volunteer at the SFSPCA and play/walk with all the pups there. I currently have two lovely cats and hope to adopt a dog again once I have a home with outdoor space! I am currently taking a career break from the corporate life to explore my passions and see what may inspire me in the future. Therefore, I have plenty of time to take care of your babies 😊 My cats are strictly indoor only as I feel this is the safest way to take care of cats (especially in a city). I do take my cats out on a leash at the park occasionally for outdoor time. I think it’s important for all cats to get playtime on a daily basis, snuggles (if they like that), and of course their feeding/hygiene routine. I brush my cats every 2 days. I am equipped to adapt to your cats routines.
“Nayla was sweet and loving with my puppy. We worked together for a week as I prepared to transition back to the office. In the end, it wasn’t a fit for us, but I know she’d be a great fit for someone with a flexible work schedule.”

“Thank you Olesia for watching our boys! You were absolutely amazing!!! You kept is updated with photos and messages and followed all our instructions perfectly. I know our high energy puppy is a lot of work! Thank you again.”

“Lindsey was great to work with!! Good communication, followed my instructions and Ellie seemed to love her :) would love to use her again in the future!!”

About: I’ve personally owned dogs with a wide variety of personalities! I volunteered at the local animal shelter in college, walking and socializing dogs 2x a week. Please let me know if there are any specific exercises or training regimens you would like me to practice with your pup on our walks. Thanks! I work from home and need to make sure I get out of the house. I am available most mornings, evenings, and around noon to walk pups. I am comfortable crating dogs after walks. I respect pet parents’ boundaries and want to make sure we’re on the same page for any treats or exercises you would like me to practice with your dog.
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is the combination of professionalism, real-life experience with animals, and genuinely loving care. I have been surrounded by pets from a young age, which has allowed me to build a natural connection with them and understand their needs at every stage of life. I don’t just care for pets, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy, just like at home. I have experience working with young pets, helping them with basic routines, adapting to new environments, and reinforcing good habits. I also provide patient and attentive care for senior pets, respecting their pace, supporting their specific needs, and ensuring their comfort at all times. Additionally, I offer: • Personalized care based on each pet’s personality and needs • Plenty of quality time, play, and companionship • Responsibility, reliability, and consistent communication with owners My goal is not just to care for pets, but to create a trusting environment where they feel loved, secure, and well cared for. Pet care fits very naturally into our routine. I have plenty of free time, and I truly love animals, so caring for them is something I genuinely enjoy rather than see as a task. I also love spending time outdoors, which makes it easy to include walks, playtime, and fresh air as part of their daily care. On a daily basis, I make sure pets are well-fed, exercised, and given attention and affection. I also have enough space to ensure they feel comfortable and safe at all times. Overall, I provide a calm, loving environment where pets receive consistent care, attention, and plenty of outdoor enjoyment. I’m to provide professional, loving care to every pet, ensuring they receive the attention and time they need. I focus on meeting all of their daily need, feeding, exercise, playtime, and companionship, so they feel comfortable, safe, and happy in our care. Whether in my home or a client’s home, I create a calm and trusting environment where each animal can relax and be well cared for.
About: My prior experience as a dog walker, doggy daycare attendant, dog bather & dog bakery associate have equipped me with many skills necessary for caring for dogs! I’m familiar with administering medication, catering to restrictive diets, routine walks and much more! Caring for my own dogs as well as for others has always been a positive experience for me and I would love to share these positive experiences with the community. Providing pet parents with a sense of security while pets are in my care and building a foundation of trust is a top priority as well as making sure your dogs are receiving the love and compassion they deserve! I currently work part time in property management. This schedule is also client based but is in its early stages of generating more clientele at the moment. An opportunity with Rover is the perfect way for me to still provide excellent services within the community while spending time with pets and meeting their needs! All pets are met with the same attentiveness & compassion! I am comfortable administering oral medication, being compliant with dietary restrictions, & assistance with crating, etc. While providing pet care services over the years I have seen how valuable a simple check in with an owner can be and how good communication and trust can contribute to a positive experience!
“Javier was absolutely fantastic with my blind and leash-reactive Winnie. During walks, he took steps to prevent her from lunging at other dogs and eating food refuse on the ground - both of which are very hard to do. He is very knowledgeable about dogs, and it is obvious that he loves them a great deal. He is also extremely caring, responsible, respectful, and trustworthy. There is no one I would trust more to care for my dog.”

“Claire was excellent with our puppy Willie. He loved spending time with her. She was prompt and gave him a nice long walk and play time at the park. Just what our high-energy pup needed!”

About: While I haven’t worked professionally as a dog sitter for many years, I grew up with dogs and have been around them for most of my life. Caring for our family dog taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and understanding each dog’s unique personality. I am comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, and providing companionship. I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. I understand that every dog is different, and I always take the time to learn their routines and preferences to provide the best care possible. I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. I can accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening visits depending on your pet’s needs. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I understand that every pet has their own routine, personality, and needs, and I take the time to learn what makes them feel secure and happy. Whether caring for your pet in your home or taking them on walks, I will follow your instructions carefully, provide plenty of attention and affection, and ensure they receive the same level of care I would give my own pets. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident while you’re away.

About: I’ve cared for both dogs and cats for over a decade, with experience feeding, walking, and house-sitting for friends and family. I’m a former track athlete and can keep up with even the most energetic of pets (but I love them all)! I’m currently working part time in the evenings, so am available any time before 5 PM to care for your pet(s)! I am a big walker, so taking your furry ones on my daily walks fits perfectly into my routine. I am an extremely organized and clean person who will keep your space as is. I have over a decade of experience feeding cats and dogs, playing with them, and am a quick learner for all the specifics (because as we all know, no two pets are the same)!
