“I cannot recommend him enough! Over the 10 days he walked our two pups, Picaron and Polo, he was consistently warm, reliable, and incredibly thoughtful. Every update was detailed, playful, and full of personality, like little love letters about my dogs’ day. From keeping water bowls fresh, noting quirky potty habits, cleaning Polo’s fur when he got a little too curious, to capturing adorable photos every day, he clearly loves what he does. We felt completely at ease knowing our dogs were not only safe, but also having fun and forming a bond with someone who truly cared. He even knew who was doing fake limps for attention (Polo 😂). It’s rare to find someone this communicative, caring, and tuned in. If you’re lucky enough to book him, do it!”

“Jungeun is consistent, kind, and goes above and beyond to communicate with us and take care of our senior dog. We are so grateful for all of the care she puts in to walking Cooper! Thank you!”

“Elric was great with my dog! Definitely recommend him to anyone who is looking for a dog walker. He was also super responsive and was able to help me out last minute. Also provided updates throughout the walk. Thanks Elric!!”

“Alison was great with my pup, and I’d highly recommend her! My pup came back content and worn out from her walks with Alison, which for me is the most I can ask for an apartment dog.”

About: I’m a passionate dog lover and the proud owner of a sweet, medium multi-gen Doodle who is incredibly friendly with both people and other dogs. My dog is fully socialized and loves making new playmates, meaning your pup will have an instant best friend and built-in playdates during their stay! I truly believe dogs are the best things in the world, and I treat every guest pup with the same love, structure, and attention as my own. Whether it’s active playtime, cozy cuddles, or maintaining their daily routine, your dog will be in safe, loving hands. I can't wait to meet your furry family member! I work full-time in tech, which means my weekdays are generally busy. However, I am happy to host weekday boarding for small, independent dogs who are comfortable relaxing nearby while I work. My weekends, on the other hand, are entirely dedicated to dog adventures! Since I spend my weekends hanging out and playing with my own friendly dog, Monday, your pup will get undivided attention, plenty of outdoor time, and a built-in playmate. If you need weekend boarding, daycare, or walking, please reach out—I'd love to help I live in a cozy, dog-friendly 1-bedroom apartment near SF City Hall. It’s the perfect, secure size to comfortably host up to two dogs at a time, ensuring everyone gets plenty of personal space and one-on-one attention. We also have a wonderful, trusted group of local dog-owner friends nearby for safe, supervised socialization. Safety is my top priority. My home is fully dog-proofed. While my own pup is fully free-roaming, I keep a clean, extra-large crate on hand. If your dog feels more secure sleeping or resting in a crate, I am more than happy to set it up to make them feel right at home.

About: Hi! I’m an experienced and dependable pet sitter and dog walker with a genuine love for animals of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I currently own a German Shepherd, so I’m very comfortable caring for large, strong, and active dogs. I also grew up with a Cockapoo, which gave me experience with smaller breeds and different exercise and care needs. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, potty breaks, and plenty of attention and companionship while you’re away. I’m happy to take dogs on long walks, play their favorite games, follow their normal routines, and provide updates so you can feel confident that your pet is safe and well cared for. I currently have full-time availability, which allows me to be very flexible with scheduling and spend plenty of quality time with the pets in my care. Whether your dog needs a quick walk, extra exercise, or someone dependable to keep them company, I’ll treat them with the same care and attention I give my own pets. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I always prioritize safety, communication, reliability, and making sure every pet feels comfortable and loved! Pet care fits very easily into my daily routine because I have a very flexible schedule and am available throughout the week. I’m able to accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening walks or visits, and I’m happy to work around each dog’s normal routine. Safety and trust are always my top priorities when caring for pets. I treat every dog like my own and make sure they feel comfortable, secure, and cared for at all times. I always follow the owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walking routines, crate preferences, and any special rules for the home. In a client’s home, I am respectful of their space and make sure their pet’s routine stays as normal as possible. I pay close attention during walks, keep dogs safely leashed, avoid unsafe situations, and make sure they get the right amount of exercise, attention, and care. As a German Shepherd owner, I am comfortable caring for dogs with different sizes, energy levels, and personalities. I understand how important patience, structure, and consistency are, especially when caring for strong or high-energy dogs. My goal is to make both pets and owners feel completely comfortable and confident.
About: I’ve been around Dogs since I was 12 and regularly Dog-sat and walked dogs for family members and friends until I was 21 years old. After graduating from the UW at 21 with a pre-law degree, I adopted my baby girl Dahlia. I’ve become a very proactive and efficient handler since, as Dahlia was adopted from an abusive household. I specialize in reading body language, positive-reinforcement, and am able to handle small to extremely large Dogs since Dahlia is a 90 pound Mastiff mix. I recently moved from Seattle to San Francisco to start law school, and decided it would be best for to leave my Dahlia with my parents, for a better quality of life. It’s my goal to take care of and bring the joy your pets deserve, as I would do for my Dahlia. Currently, I’m a law student in the city and do not work to focus on studying. As a result, my schedule is fairly flexible. I’m able to care for your pets before, between, and after classes. Moreover, I have a both a bicycle and a car so transportation is no issue for me. I have experience with dogs that must be kenneled, dogs that are allowed to sleep in the bed, dogs that must be kept close on a leash, dogs that are allowed to explore on a lead, and all other options in between. I’m able to adapt to every dog’s “rule-set” established by their owner. Whether you’re a laid-back dog parent, or a more strict one; I’m able to adapt to each owners preferences and wishes based on how you treat your furry babies.
“Carolyn is nice, communicative, reliable, and trustworthy. She walked my dogs every day at least once per day (occasionally booked for twice per day) for about 1.5 weeks while I was at work. I would book with her again.”

About: Hi there! I'm Charlie, and I'm passionate about providing excellent care to your four legged family members. I have been working with dogs professionally for seven years, starting as a dog handler at a doggie daycare, then moving on to teach group classes for puppy training, basic obedience, and agility at a dog training facility, then specializing in puppy socialization at a local puppy dayschool! I value the comfort and wellbeing of any creature I work with, both physical and emotional, which is why I abide by force free/fear free methods. I am well versed in dog body language, have a good understanding of the principles of dog behavior and positive reinforcement based training, as well as early puppyhood development. I'm not just a dog person though - ever since I was a kid, I always had cats! In addition to having my own pet cats, I fostered pregnant mama cats and their kittens. I hope you consider choosing me to care for your best pals! I am available for walks and drop ins with pretty flexible availability, and am more than happy to drop by to love on your pet while you're at work! I care about ensuring that your pet is comfortable, safe, and happy, which is why I use force free/fear free methods in every interaction. Your pet deserves to feel comfortable with me and have their emotional needs respected in addition to their physical needs. And of course, I want your pet to have fun when they're with me! I like to keep things playful and lighthearted on any walk or drop-in. That's the best thing about pets!
“I recently hired Selena to walk my dog while I was out of town for three weeks, and I couldn’t be happier with her service. She is incredibly friendly, punctual, and reliable—qualities that gave me total peace of mind while I was away. My dog absolutely adores her, which is the most important thing to me! Selena goes above and beyond by sending lots of photos and videos after each visit, which made me feel connected to my dog even from afar. Her updates were always detailed and full of happy moments, showing how much she truly cares for the dogs she looks after. I highly recommend Selena to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog walker. She’s simply awesome!”

About: Animal lover, party of one! I love animals more than people and I'm not ashamed of it! They bring out the best in all of us and I can't wait to spend some time with yours :) I'm home full-time, so your baby will have all of my attention and care. We'll take long hikes, days at the beach and the park. There is a dog park right around the corner from my apartment! Happy to take your cat on a walk to, if they are so inclined :) I worked at a Vet Hospital for 2 years, so I am comfortable with basic medical needs, i.e. administering meds, subq injections, etc. I've watched cats, dogs, snakes, lizards, hedgehogs, chinchillas, because yes I also volunteer at a zoo. I can't wait to meet you and your baby! Santé!
About: I am a responsible, experienced dog/cat owner-lover and will treat yours like my own. I was raised in a family that had dogs including 3 dachshunds, a mutt, and a chow over the years. As an adult I have been the loving pet parent to three adult cats consecutively. Very comfortable around cats and dogs. Available for dog-walking, cat/dog drop-in's, and daytime extended stay drop-in's / house-sitting (no overnights). I have worked remotely for over ten years so have a very flexible schedule. Walking your dog or visiting your cat would be a pleasure and a chance for some fresh air and exercise. I do this for supplemental income during my free time and the opportunity to visit different neighborhoods. I am available daytime hours, not overnight (mid-morning til before sunset). I will give your cat or dog as much or little attention in your home as you (or they!) specify. Reliable, trustworthy. Not able to care for your pets at my home.
About: My passion for both dogs and athletics makes me a great candidate to walk your dog and/or make sure your dog stays active during boarding! I've been around dogs since I was a kid and I love how smart, loyal, and therapeutic they are. I also ran high school varsity cross-country in the Nevada desert, so I have stamina and I love running, mountain running, incline walking, power-walking, and just walking in general. Walking my mini goldendoodle, Vail, is one of my favorite things to do in life and we both look forward to our walks every day. My dog Vail is spoiled rotten and it would be my pleasure to spoil your dog, too! Vail is part of the family and is my top priority! My dog eats, drinks, and is taken care of before I am. Your dog will be family and come before I do as well!
“Yasmim’s calm and nurturing presence won the trust of our anxious dog. She has gone above and beyond for us and we cannot thank her enough for that! We’re so glad we found Yasmim.”

About: Hi! If you’re looking for a caring, responsible sitter who will give your pup lots of love and attention, you’re in the right place! I mostly work from home with a flexible schedule and live with my sweet Maltipoo puppy, Moppy. She’s spayed, fully vaccinated, well-socialized, and absolutely loves making new friends. :) I’ve raised two puppies myself and cared for dogs for years, so I really understand how different each dog’s needs can be, especially puppies. Moppy went to puppy school and has been well-socialized, and through that experience I’ve learned a lot about dog body language, leash walking, and building good habits. Watching her grow has been so rewarding, and I’d love to help reinforce positive routines with your pup too. I’m patient, attentive, and happy to follow your dog’s schedule. I know how important consistency is! Here’s what your dog can look forward to: • Regular potty breaks and outdoor walks • Playtime with a gentle, social pup • A calm, clean, dog-friendly home • Lots of love, attention, and cuddles! • Frequent updates so you can relax while you’re away. I’m a dog parent too and also use Rover for my own pup. Moppy is crate-trained and gets along beautifully with dogs of all sizes. She’s playful but gentle, a little companion who helps keep other dogs entertained and happily tired out. Because of her small size, I currently only accept dogs under 15 pounds to make sure everyone stays safe, happy, and comfortable. A meet and greet is required for first-time bookings. It’s a great chance to see how the pups get along and for you to feel completely at ease leaving your dog with me. Whether your pup needs a calm, safe space to relax, someone to stick to their routine, or just a fun day with a new friend, I’d be happy to help! I work from home most days (and only list availability on those days), so I’m able to give your dog plenty of attention. I take my own dog on regular potty breaks and long walks to nearby parks, we live close to several great parks! I’ll also have time for play, enrichment, and basic training throughout the day. My place is facing a patio, so it’s easy to take dogs out for quick and frequent potty breaks. Since I already have a small puppy, my home is dog-safe and I’ve got plenty of enrichment toys, games, healthy treats, and other things that might come in handy.
About: I am a dog lover, and at times a dog at heart! These creatures fill my void that people can’t while I work as a Nurse. I have grown up with both a Bichon Frise and a Maltese Shi tzu. But whenever I got a chance to be around my cousins doodle or sisters poodle my family felt that much bigger. I’ve always helped take care of our animals as I take care of people. Whether it’s cleaning, feeding, or walking them, it is similar to my full time job as a nurse, just being different mammals. As a nurse, I currently work 3 days for 12 hour shifts. This means, I have 4 days off. However, the days are always different for each week. I am unable to take care of any animals in my home at this time as my rental does not allow for pets! However, if ever given a chance to sit at your place, I’ll abide by your rules.
The median cost per walk for dog walking in South Of Market is $28

Lala is simply the best! My anxious/awkward guy isn’t the easiest with walks (stranger danger, loud sounds, selective liking of other dogs) and Lala is so attuned to his needs! Her progress reports have helped us in our day-to-day as well. She’s simply the best! 💛
