About: I started pet sitting in college, assisting at Pet Girls Pet Sitters in Austin, TX. Since then, I've reliably watched my friends' and family's furry friends. I've fostered a handful of dogs, young and old <3, which was such a fun time! I'm currently working part-time during the day and have a flexible schedule. I have a car and a bike and can get around the city reliably. I've fostered a number of dogs, young and old. I have experience hanging out with and taking new-to-me dogs on walks and for playtime.
“Samuel did a great job walking Chase every day for a week. He was very communicative and responsive setting up meet and great, and stopping by to pick up instructions and keys. He sent photos of Chase each day on their walks. I would recommend Samuel for dog walking.”

“Thank you for hanging in there with Jaynee. It’s important to find someone that I trust with our dog and her quirks. Nicole has shown to be in good communication with me and responds quickly when I contact her.”

“Anais is fantastic! She's responsive, communicates clearly, and treats pets with genuine kindness and care. I trust her completely to walk my dog and always feel confident knowing my pup is in good hands.”

About: Hello! I’ve been in the SF area for over 3 years now! I’m up for taking small and medium sized dogs on walks. I’ve done some dog walking when I was younger and am very persistent in watching dogs cues throughout a walk. I've taken care of cats since I was in high school. Many neighbors and family members have asked me numerous times to watch their cats! I have experience with both young and older cats. It can be hard to leave your cat at home, which I am very familiar with as I have a 2 cats of my own. I strive to make sure your cat feels loved and cared for by feeding them, changing water, cleaning their litter boxes, and lots of play time! In my free time, I volunteer at the SF SPCA where I help kittens and cats socialize and acclimate to human interaction. I currently work at Sutter Health CPMC as a music therapist, Monday through Fridays. I am available after 5:00pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday and available on most weekends. I’ll let each dog/cat take their time in getting to know and build trust with them as in order to take them for walks or have them interact/play with me. I give my cats extra play time especially at night/dusk as they are nocturnal animals and would do so if checking in with your cat in the evening. I respect the cat's space and environment, letting them lead whether how affectionate they want to be or how much space they need.
About: Hi, this is Bryan! I have a 5 year-old Yorkie boy (and a cat). We go on walks 3-4 times a day, we clean our face, paws, pp, and butt after each walk. While my dog is a couch-potato when he’s with me, he enjoys meeting and playing with other dogs, big or small. Hair brushing can be therapeutic. My professional background is Marketing, Branding, and Communications. So communication is a big thing for me. I like clear instructions, asking questions, providing updates, etc. Look forward to connecting and helping you with your fur babies! I’m currently a full-time stay home pet parent. So my schedule is highly flexible. It would be great if my 8 lb Yorkie can tag along, but not a must. Also, it would be ideal if I can reserve 3-5 hours/day away from your house during house sitting, to run errands or grab dinner with my husband. Let’s chat and find out the best schedule that works for us. Communications is key. I’m willing to accommodate your requests in taking special care for your pet because you know them the best, and each pet has their own likes and dislikes.
“If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Abigail was amazing! Our pup connected with her immediately and she asked lots of great questions to ensure she could make our girl as comfortable and happy as possible. Kinja really enjoyed her walks. She even went above and beyond, cleaning up after Kinja when she had some tummy trouble in the house.”
About: We’ve raised puppies and kittens and have experience caring for senior pets. We’re a fun, attentive couple who loves to play, stay active, and make pets feel safe, loved, and right at home. Since we both work from home, we’re able to give pets consistent attention throughout the day. Walks, playtime, feeding, and care easily fit into our routine. We prioritize safety, comfort, and routine. We carefully follow feeding, walking, and care instructions, keep a clean environment, and make sure pets feel secure, supervised, and well-loved at all times.
About: I live with my husband and young daughter and our family loves caring for animals! Please let us love your special pet while you're away! We have experience with kittens, active cats and dogs, and senior cats and dogs with declining health. We are very experienced with administering medication and providing support to animals with age and mobility challenges. For dog walking and checking in on your pet while you're away: I love going on walks throughout the city and spending a lot of time outside at many of SF's amazing parks. Why not take your pup with me? I work remotely Thursdays and Fridays, so if you'd like to set up an extended drop in stay during the day, let's chat and see what we can set up to meet both of our needs. For pet visits and stays in my home: I live within walking distance of both the Presidio and Golden Gate Park so we're able to give walks and exercise that best fits your pet. I also have a fenced in patio for cats who enjoy a sunny nap outside, and a fenced in backyard for pups who like to sniff around or take frequent potty breaks. Our house is pet friendly including lots of soft places to lay and relax in a sunny window or pet-friendly couch. I work from my home office and take frequent walks around the neighborhood for exercise and to run errands, so taking your pet out and about fits seamlessly into my routine. Things we have here to use during your pet's stay if you don't want to bring your own: - Litterbox - Food and water bowls - Blankets - Cat tree - Dog Leash I work from home most of the week with a very flexible schedule and take frequent walks around the neighborhood for exercise and to run quick errands. I also live within walking distance of the Presidio, the off leash dog park at Mountain Lake Park, and Golden Gate Park so I'm able to give your pup as much exercise as they need throughout the day. My availability does not currently include Monday - Wednesday, but for cats needing a longer stay (a week or more) let's talk! I may be able to make arrangements to accommodate your cat's schedule needs. I take pet care, health, and comfort very seriously. I will ask you questions about your pet's needs and preferences so that I can give the best care for them. These questions include food, potty, and rest schedule or queues for me to look for that are unique to your pet, preferences for play and affection, any rules that you prefer I follow (for example: specific commands or release words to eat), any medications or treats and how/when to give, etc. I used Rover for cat sitting services before I became a sitter and I loved communicative sitters who took many photos and gave detailed updates. I will be sure to give you plenty of information about how your pet is doing while you're away so you can feel confident about their care, but I will also be mindful to not message you too often so that you can enjoy yourself!
About: I have been pet sitting and taking care of animals since I was a teenager. I started out helping family and friends when they went out of town and then began volunteering at the local spay and neuter clinic. My job there was to help the animals in recovery who had just gotten out of surgery. I have always loved animals, especially cats and dogs. I am unavailable in the evenings but mornings and afternoons any day of the week work great for me. My most convenient days would be Tuesday’s and Fridays but I am open to weekends and other days as well I like to go over to the clients house and start by just getting to know the pet. If they are shy I try to hang out around the house for a little while until they get used to my presence and feel more comfortable around me. Once I have been established as a friend and not a threat I will take them on a walk to the park or play with any toys they have around. I enjoy walking so dogs that like long walks are a good fit for me.

About: I focus on structured, consistent care with every walk. Each outing is approached the same way; calm, well-paced, and tailored to the dog in front of me. I work with a range of dogs, including seniors who prefer shorter, slower routines, and I’m attentive to how each dog settles into their environment over time. I’m registered with the City of San Francisco and certified in Pet First Aid & CPR, with safety built into every outing. What sets me apart is reliability and consistency. I keep a steady schedule, communicate clearly, and aim to provide a routine both you and your dog can count on. I’m a certified dog walker based in San Francisco, and my foundation is built around straightforward, reliable care. After spending time in the tech world, I shifted into work that’s more hands-on and consistent — something that fits both how I work and how dogs thrive. I focus on showing up on time, paying attention, and keeping routines familiar. Every dog is different, and I take the time to learn their pace, energy level, and comfort cues. Safety and clear communication are priorities, and I aim to make things easy and predictable for both you and your best friend. I’m located in the Richmond District and currently serve the surrounding neighborhoods, with plans to expand into the Sunset District. Staying local allows me to be dependable and build ongoing relationships rather than one-off visits. I live with dogs of my own and have experience across different sizes and personalities. I spent ten years with my German Shepherd, Dexter, and now share my life with two rescue pups — Gnocchi, a small poodle–chihuahua mix, and Sprout, a medium-sized shepherd mix. That day-to-day experience helps me understand what dogs actually need, not just what looks good on paper. At the end of the day, I want to be someone you feel comfortable reaching out to and confident trusting with your dog. Life happens. Sit Happens. Your dog still gets the care they deserve.
About: I’ve been walking dogs since my family adopted Baby Bear (not a bear) when I was in middle school. I’m ready to meet a dog exactly where they’re at, which I can usually tell pretty quickly. I’m down to roll around on the ground at a moment’s notice. I mostly work remotely, with flexible hours, and I go for long walks in the middle of the day anyway, so it’s easy to bring a dog along! I can handle basically anything your dog throws at me wlth aplomb, and if the job requires me to be in your home, I’ll show it the utmost respect.
About: Hi! I’m Yasemin (Yas), a dog owner and lifelong dog lover. I work from home, so I’m able to provide a calm, attentive, and cozy environment for pups who need daycare during the workday or boarding while their parents are away. I have a fenced yard for supervised potty breaks and outdoor time, and I’m home throughout the day to give plenty of attention, playtime, cuddles, and care. I’m happy to follow your dog’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, crate preferences, or any special needs. I have a friendly dog at home, so your pup will also have a companion. For everyone’s comfort and safety, I prefer to host dogs who are friendly with other dogs and do well in a home environment. I usually take only 1–2 dogs at a time, so your pup will get personal attention and won’t feel overwhelmed. I know how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your dog with someone, and I’ll treat your baby with the same care, patience, and love I give my own! Cheers! Yas I work from home so I am home most of the time during the week and the weekend. I am available for providing boarding as well as a day care sometimes. I live in an apartment and my unit is puppy proof and dog safe since I do have a dog at home as well! I will take care of your baby as the same I do take care mine! We will go to the golden gate park together for walks, and enrichment times! My dog and your dog can get to play each other as well so that’s a great bonus there! :)

About: I'm a work-from home writer and editor seeking pups who like walks on the beach, trips to the dog park, play in the back yard, and flops on the couch. I share my spacious one-bedroom apartment with The Governor, a one-eyed Italian Greyhound and Bobcat, a 12-year-old Cornish Rex cat (so if your dog hates cats, you'll probably want to pass on us). We'd love to have your dog join us (well not the cat) for on-leash walks on nearby Ocean Beach, trips to the dog park (Golden Gate Park and Stern Grove are our jams, but we're happy to drive to your pup's fave park), visits to my good-sized back yard (great for dogs with shy, frequent, or reluctant bathroom habits), and naptime on the couch or in bed (the cat will be back for that part). Since I work from home, I'm always here to make sure no one gets in trouble, and that everyone gets plenty of fresh air and exercise. When I do leave (rare), I have a great online security system I use to keep a remote eye on activities, so I can peek at your dog from my phone no matter where I am to make sure no shenanigans are afoot. I also have solid baby gates and rooms with doors for any dogs who need a little private time, all in dog-proofed and friendly rooms. I also have a car, so if there's ever a serious issue (knock on wood that there will not be!) I can get any distressed animals to the hospital of your choice in a flash. When we're at the beach and park, I also tag every guest dog with Tile, a temporary gps tool that lets me track any escapees in a flash. Though I'd never take your dog off-leash at the park or the beach, and I've never had a runaway, I still believe that it's far better to be safe than sorry, right? If you'd like, I'm happy to provide references from both animal care professionals and regular people, who can all attest to my pet-care-giving prowess. You can also check out my photos to see a variety of dogs having fun in and around my home. Enough about me! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch. Can't wait for your pup to come hang out at my place! Why I love dog sitting My parents got a dog right before I was born, so I've had them in my life always! Most recently, I had a dachshund/black lab rescue for over a decade, cared for a 17-year-old chihuahua in the last years of his life, and currently have an Italian Greyhound bossing me around. About my yard I have a 25x25 back yard that's a mix of garden, undeveloped dirt/growth, and plants and trees. It's an ongoing project. My experience administering medication Yes. I've given subcutaneous fluids, pills, and liquid meds to many dogs. As a writer, I work from home and set my own schedule, so I have the flexibility to walk, play with, or just flop with your pets. I have a fenced in yard and several separate rooms to allow for separation between any pets that need it. I also own my own car, so I can quickly ferry any pets in distress to an ER vet, if needed.
“Veronica has walked my dog several times now and it’s been seamless every time! She follows all instructions perfectly and when I come home Riley seems super happy/content. Also was able to accommodate a last minute request which was a lifesaver!”

Aaron provided excellent care for our dog Honey. He walked her 6x over 2 weeks. Honey was timid the first couple of times, but Aaron was very patient with her while the trust grew. He’s very communicative and flexible which is greatly appreciated. We’ve already booked him for the next time we need dog walking services!

Jahnavi was awesome! I hired her to walk our 4 1/2 year old, Oreo. She was kind and polite. My mom loved her! I was out of town for a lifestyle convention and my mom is disabled and with our in law unit being so small it’s hard for her to get the power wheelchair out without my help. I would definitely hire Jahnavi again in the event I have to go away. I highly recommend her! She’s great!
