20. Matelina P.
About: I formerly ran the training/enrichment department at Pet Camp in San Francisco and prior to that worked at SF Puppy Prep for about a year. I love dogs of all sizes and specialize with anxious or crazy dogs. My focus nowadays is to grow an independent business and personal clientele so I can best individualize every experience. The dogs would spend their day in our “animal office” which is just a third bedroom that’s been modified for dogs to live comfortably for their stays. My roommate would be available to help watch anyone in the off chance I needed to step out as our schedules stagger throughout the day, so there’s always someone home with them. When watching someone in my home, the dogs get to spend the day in the yard or in the animal office and will have someone home with them to monitor everything. They get 1 hour long group walk a day, or 30 mins if they don’t walk well along side my own dog(s), (my roommate has 2 dogs but we can keep them entirely separated should they not get along w the guest dog(s) ). If watching in the client’s house I’ll try my best to keep their schedule as regular as possible to their everyday life. The only differences would be the off chance I need to step out and walk another dog else where, depending on the day.
