“Nicola has been incredible. My pup can be a bit anxious, and Nicola has been such a warm and generous presence for her. I was nervous about having someone start to walk her regularly, but Nicola clearly loves and understands dogs. She is also super professional and communicative and has made the whole experience so easy. Strongly recommend working with Nicola!”

“Joyce did great with lucky! He warmed up to her so fast which is not common, and she was able to handle his high energy! Also the pictures she took on the walk were adorable :) will definitely continue booking her for luckys walks!”

“This was our first time working with a dog walker and Lani did a wonderful job meeting us. Playing with our pup and walking her around the neighborhood. Lani was very respectful and helpful. Will definitely be booking her again!”

About: I grew up with large dogs, Rottweilers, my whole life, so I know how to walk large dogs and also more than one at a time. Throughout my life I have always had a love for dogs, big or small. They are so heartwarming although they can make a mess, and most of the time they do. There is nothing better than coming home to a dog who is so happy to see you. I am currently available everyday, though gone a few hours a night on 2 days a week. I am available on the weekends. I enjoy long walks and know how to entertain an energetic pup. I have trained my own dogs before as well as been around dogs my entire life. I work at a gym so I am always active and moving around, whether is be in my house or around my neighborhood! I love taking dogs out to coffee shops and restaurants that allow dogs.
“Mia was amazing! She was referred to me by someone and it worked out perfectly! I let her know that my dog is super shy and she took the time to let her warm up to her before the walk. Mia also offered to bring in my packages. 10/10!!! Will be reaching out to her again :)”

About: I’ve owned dogs and cats for most of my life, from a three-legged Rottie named Goose, to Golden Retrievers, to Buster, a beloved mutt who loved long walks in the woods. I’ve cared for pets for neighbors, friends, and many happy clients, whether I was visiting them or they were visiting me. I’m very comfortable caring for dogs of all kinds, including walking, feeding, bathing, giving medications, potty breaks, and everything in between. Many happy humans — according to their pets! Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so walks, feeding, playtime, potty breaks, and check-ins never feel like an interruption — they are usually one of the best parts of my day. I’m active and outdoors often, so I’m happy to build my schedule around regular walks, longer outings when appropriate, and plenty of attention at home. I’m also comfortable with more detailed care needs, including medications, specific feeding routines, bathing, and keeping pets on the schedule they’re used to. Whether I’m caring for dogs, cats, or both, I like to keep things calm, consistent, and reliable so pets feel safe and their humans feel comfortable while they’re away. I care for pets by keeping their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I follow each owner’s instructions closely for feeding, walks, potty breaks, medications, playtime, and any special needs. In a client’s home, I’m respectful, tidy, and attentive. I make sure pets feel safe and cared for, keep their spaces clean, and provide regular updates so owners know how things are going. My goal is to give each pet calm, reliable care and plenty of attention while their humans are away.

“Hannah is super nice. Very punctual and patient with my dog. It's always so nice meeting someone who is genuine and doesn't mind a stubborn pup every now and then!!”

About: Hi! I’m May. I’m a responsible just-graduated medical student who loves dogs! I just moved back to the Bay Area from NC. I had a dog for nearly 15 years and miss having a furry friend around. Have also been a go-to cat sitter for multiple friends! I am very communicative and make sure to give at least daily updates while sitting. I’m a busy resident, but would love to take care of your dog on the weekends I’m free. 😊 I usually am working every other weekend, so I would not be the best fit for recurring visits. No pets, children, or other people will be at my home. Will take your dog on a nice long walk!! and they will probably be fawned over by my friends for extra attention
“Jennifer was punctual, professional and communicative. She was very helpful in the immediate post-operative procedure after Yasmín’s spaying, which required a lot of attention to detail and careful monitoring. I strongly recommend her to anyone who is looking for help caring for their pet(s).”

“Thank you Olesia for watching our boys! You were absolutely amazing!!! You kept is updated with photos and messages and followed all our instructions perfectly. I know our high energy puppy is a lot of work! Thank you again.”

“Karen was fantastic! Our dog has some leash reactivity and Karen was happy to meet ahead of time and learn the training/commands we've been using to help Bailey overcome her reactivity. Karen provided an excellent overview of their walk and some great photos. She is very trustworthy and reliable. Would absolutely book again!”

Excelsior dog parents share their Rover experiences
Mia was amazing! My dog can be a little wary of new people but he was asking Mia for belly rubs within 5 minutes of meeting her. She was very detail oriented when asking about his habits. Overall responsible, prompt, great with dogs, and very caring. I’m a pretty picky, anxious dog mom and Mia checked all of the boxes and more. 10/10 would recommend!

Shailyng was great, she writes the best updates and send a lot of pictures. It makes me feel like I'm with the dogs while reading the updates. She will take care of every little detail. The dogs were happy when I came from my trip which means they were well taken care of. I'll make sure to refer her to my friends.
