About: I have had a life long love of animals and have grown up with cats and dogs. In addition I am a long standing volunteer at the SFSPCA, and am trained in dog and cat care. If your pet is shy or out going I know exactly how to work with them. I am a college student with a fairly flexible schedule. As junior my course load is predictable therefor I can work with you to find a convenient care schedule. I am available to walk dogs or care for cats at your home. I have a car and can reliably get to you. When we first meet I would love to spend a little time with your pet and learn your routine in order to make them as comfortable as possible. If you are traveling for an extended period I will gladly send you pictures and keep you posted on what is going on.

I love getting outside with dogs and will always make sure your pup gets plenty of exercise, attention, and care. I’ll communicate clearly and send photo updates after every visit so you know they’re in great hands. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’ll always follow your care instructions, use secure leashing practices, pay close attention during walks, and make sure your pet has fresh water and plenty of affection. Having cared for dogs my entire life, from running a pet-sitting business for over 10 years to volunteering 400+ hours at an animal shelter, I understand that every dog has different needs and personalities.

About: Hello, I have taken care of multiple friend's dogs for many years, from young and wild pups to stroller bound elder pups. Love all dogs (and cats too) Currently working part-time and other gig work, flexable/free most days and nights. Mornings preferred, but can be free at other times as well Can not have pets at my apartment, which partly why I love taking care of others. Will always look out for their safety and well-being
About: Hi, I’m excited to meet you and your pet! I work from home, so whether your pet is staying at my home or I’m visiting yours, they’ll have plenty of attention and companionship throughout the day. I foster senior dogs through Muttville and have experience caring for senior pets. I also know how to administer oral and eye medications. My small home is best suited for small dogs and lower-energy large dogs. For house sitting, I’ll need to bring along my own small senior dog. She’s calm, friendly, and spends most of her day napping by my side while I work. I’ll follow your pet’s routine, provide lots of love and care, and send regular photo updates so you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind. I work from home, so I can attend to your pet’s needs during the day. Frequent walks aren’t a problem! I can take your baby for walks and potty breaks between meetings. I follow your guidance and instructions to ensure the best care possible. Medicines are administered on time with care. Walks and feeding routines are followed as though you were here with your pet.
About: Hi! I’m Van—a caring, experienced sitter with two snuggly dogs of my own who love having new friends around. I offer overnight stays in my fenced-in home, drop-in visits, and walks, all tailored to your pet’s unique needs. I have a soft spot for seniors and special-needs pups. I’ve cared for blind and deaf dogs, and pets needing regular medications or gentle routines. Whether your companion is full of energy or prefers slow strolls and lots of cuddles, I’ll meet them where they’re at with patience, kindness, and consistency. At my home, your dog will have room to roam, a calm environment, and the company of two friendly resident pups who are happy to share their space (and snuggle spots). I know how hard it is to leave your pet with someone new, so I send regular photo and message updates for peace of mind. Whether you need a reliable drop-in, house sitter, or a cozy place for your pup to stay, I’m here to help. I’d love to learn more about your pet and how I can care for them like one of my own. I am a full time stay at home dog parent of two. I love animals and their quirky personalities. Let me snuggle with your dogs. I can drop by to love and care for them in their space, or take them on walks around the neighborhood. Adventures to dog parks can be arranged as well!
About: I worked as a professional dog trainer for a well renown dog school in San Francisco. I have worked with a wide variety of breeds, sizes and ages! As small as Miniature Dachshund puppies and as large as Full grown Great Danes. Often I've worked groups of more than a dozen dogs, where being vigilant and proactive was key to manage interactions, but working with you, you'll get all the same care with just your pup. I've worked dogs that are shy of social interactions with other dogs and people! And most importantly I have the skills not only to manage but improve dog behavior. I am entirely free at the moment so with enough notice my day can be centered around your puppy first and foremost! This can be during your work week when your pets need a little extra attention, or this can be during your time away when they need support at home. I have a pet friendly apartment for boarding and I am physically active for long hikes or walks outside in the lovely parks around San Francisco. I have a keen eye on subtle changes in dog behavior from my experience working as a professional trainer, so I am very attentive to how your dog is feeling.
About: Hi! I’m Irina. Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I raised a beautiful Gordon Setter (Scottish Setter) from a puppy, and he lived a long, happy life of 13 years. This taught me everything about canine behavior, specialized nutrition, and the deep patience required to care for dogs at all stages of life, including senior dogs. Multi-Pet Care: Besides my own dog, I have extensive experience pet-sitting for friends and family, looking after various breeds of dogs and cats. I know how to handle different temperaments—whether your pet is an energetic ball of energy or a shy cuddler. I am currently fully available during the week, so I can walk, feed, and play with your pet at any time from Monday to Friday. Please note that I am unavailable on weekends, as I dedicate that time to my children. Please note that I offer care strictly at your home (drop-ins and house sitting) and do not host pets at my place. Through raising my own pets, I learned how to understand animal behavior and provide dedicated care. I treat every pet with the same love, patience, and respect I gave my own best friends.
“We cannot say enough good things about Surekha. Finding someone you trust with your dog is tough, but she made it incredibly easy. She is so genuinely kind and patient, and she has been absolutely wonderful with our mini Aussie. She understands his personality perfectly and tailors her approach to exactly what our pup needs that day. Surekha is dependable, communicative, and just a joy to work with. Highly, highly recommend!”

About: I have been working and volunteering with animals since I was 17 years old and have been dog sitting/walking for 5+ years on wag walker! I was a dog groomer with Natural Pawz for 1 and a half years and volunteered with friends fur life for half a year! Have always worked with animals and am very passionate about their health and well being. My days revolve around animal care whether it’s dog sitting/walking or caring for the cats in my neighborhood! My neighborhood used to have a huge problem with aggressive stray cats or loose dogs so I began working with local animal shelters and clinics on getting them fixed through TNRing. Have found homes for dogs that were dropped off on my street and most of the cats on my street are now fixed and vaccinated! They’re no longer as aggressive as they used to be and their health conditions have improved significantly. I live in a gated house with plenty of space in the back for cats and dogs to have outdoor time. There is an empty guest room in case any pet needs some space or quiet or just for ones who may be shy or prefer to be alone.
“Would highly highly recommend Joey. She is super responsive, caring, reliable, detail oriented, and was just overall great with our pups Mozie. She exercised him well every day and took great care of him. She also sent such cute pics every day she took him on a walk, and was detailed in her updates. We loved Joey and will definitely be using her again in the future!”

“I had a fantastic experience with João! He was incredibly easy-going, friendly, and most importantly, loving to my pet. João was there for us when we needed him the most, and I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Highly recommend!”

“Dena walked our (recovering) reactive dog Monty and did a fantastic job. She was open to using treats and commands, and got him comfortable quickly. She’s a very calm presence with lots of experience (and love for!) with dogs. We will definitely hire her again!”

“Lauren was fantastic - great communication, sent very cute photos, and took our booking on very short notice! Really was a life saver on a day with a last minute schedule change!”

“Bailey was a great walker for Whitney that I’d recommend to anyone! She was really responsive and gave helpful write ups after each walk, and Whitney seemed really comfortable in her care. 10 out of 10, would Bailey again!”

About: I am a longtime SF resident (over 25 years) and life-long animal lover (especially dogs). I am semi-retired and truly enjoy taking care of other people’s pets and showing them the kindness and attention they are in extra need of when away from their owners. I have my own 7-year old Australian terrier who is well-trained and exceptionally friendly. I have always loved walking and take my Gracie on long walks and to local area parks everyday (including Dolores Park, which is directly across the street from my home; as well nearby Duboce, Alamo Square Park and others). I’d be delighted to have your small to medium-sized dog join us as one off occasion or on a regular basis. In addition, I also board dogs for overnights and longer stays. While advance notice of a week to several days is preferred, I know unexpected situations can arise and do my best to be available on short notice. I have a car now so I can do pickups and drop offs. I am fully vaccinated as well Below are photos of my dog Gracie and me as well as previous clients. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. I’m more than happy to provide references upon request. I’m currently retired so I’ll have plenty of time to spend with your fur baby, be it doggy day-care or dog boarding. I enjoy taking dogs out for long walks. I provide all dogs with a safe environment. My backyard is fenced in and I can also allow dogs to eat in different areas if necessary. Dogs will be walked every 2 hours.

David was super prompt, responsive, and thorough in his reports — I so appreciated him being to help out last-minute and providing so much detail & photos of my pup while taking care of him. My dog seemed to love him and I will definitely be rebooking David in the future!

Hannah did a great job! Cal was so happy to see her, and it was clear she was well cared for. Hannah kept me updated the entire time with thoughtful texts and plenty of pictures, which I really appreciated. She’s incredibly sweet with Cal, reliable, and communicative. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy dog walker. I’ll definitely be using her again!
