Would highly highly recommend Joey. She is super responsive, caring, reliable, detail oriented, and was just overall great with our pups Mozie. She exercised him well every day and took great care of him. She also sent such cute pics every day she took him on a walk, and was detailed in her updates. We loved Joey and will definitely be using her again in the future!

About: I am my friends and families go-to sitter. I grew up with dogs of my own and have experience with both big and small dogs. I work full time, but am available on week nights after work and weekends. I work remote a majority of the time, so I have added flexibility to care for your pet. I am patient and friendly, in addition to being incredibly active. I would love to run with you dog if they would like that, otherwise I am happy with long walks and playing fetch. I have a canine good citizen certified dog whom I trained myself. She is friendly with all animals and would be a good companion to any furry friend. I work full time, mostly remote. This allows flexibility to give your pet the attention that they deserve during the day. I am active (walks/hikes/runs) at night. I have a super pet proof home, with only the most indestructible toys. I have plenty of dog beds, a crate (two if needed!) and a private fenced in dog park for fetching/playing.

About: Your pup will be in good hands! If you're new to Rover, use my code to save $20! NANCYC19805 My partner Andy and I both work from home so your pet will have plenty of care and attention throughout the day! We live in a 3 story home with a backyard and long driveway for dog runs. We live 10 minutes from 2 great parks. We both grew up with pets, both cats and dogs. Our fur-baby Coco (french bulldog) passed away in Fall 2022 and we miss her very much. We have experience with pets with mobility needs, shy/nervous pets, and pets that need medication. Although we have stairs, we are happy to carry your pet up and down the stairs, and we have a ramp to help them up the couch. We currently work from home and can give your pet as much (or as little) attention as they need. We typically do 2 long walks and 2 short walks a day, but let us know what works best for your pup! On the weekends, we like to go to the park nearby or drive to parks in different neighborhoods and walk around. Let us know if there's anything special in taking care of your pet and we'll accommodate. I have a fenced yard to allow for quick breaks for your pet. We allow pets on our couch for cuddles, as long as they behave. Typically, we crate dogs at night, so please bring your dog’s crate for overnight stays. We have stairs leading up to our living room. We are happy to carry your pup up if under 30 lbs.

About: Hello, I am a recent retiree. I worked for the government for 25+ years. I have owned two dogs in my lifetime. Simon who lived for 16 years and Judd who lived for 12 1/2 years and sadly passed away this past March. Throughout my life, animals have always played a special role. After Simon died, I wrote a book about losing him as it impacted me so much. I swore that if/when I was to have a second dog I would never take them for granted. Judd was an Animal Assisted Therapy dog for 8 years. Ive also volunteered for PAWS and am a lifetime donator to Best Friends Animal Society. I was also the volunteer coordinator for Strut Your Mutt in 2013 and 2014. It was a charity event sponsored by Best Friends. In 2018, I volunteered at Glen Afric Wild Cat reserve in South Africa. I could go on and on about how much I love animals especially dogs but you get the idea. Now that I am free, I want to do something with my time that is valuable to me. I’ve used Rover to find sitters for our dog and thought I’d give it a try to care for other dogs. Recently retired so I am free anytime! We recently lost Judd but I’m happy to report we just adopted Wally, our new baby. While we figure out if he has any issues I can’t board right now but I’m happy to come to you! We have a fenced yard with a doggy door so If your pooch is short/little he can use it. I will come to you and follow your instructions on the best way to care for your pooch. I will pay them lots of attention and play with them!

About: I have had pets all my life and they are part of me, I love taking car of your pets, and giving them the affection they need while they are in my care. These are definitely good hands. I have experience with large dogs and taking a walk during the day will be relaxing for both of them making sure they are always safe. That they socialize with my environment and people close to me is the most important thing, I feed them 3 or 2 times a day and always provide them with clean water. A little play is always important and exercising them as well as taking them out to do their. And going to potty.

About: I have eight years of experience working with dogs and know how to handle a dog on a leash. I am good at watching dogs in a group setting I am watching them making sure that no fights break out I can prevent fights from happening I am very knowledgeable of dog behavior. I have also worked at many different doggy daycare/boarding facilities so I very much understand dog behavior and can watch multiple dogs at once. I also like watching other dogs interact with each other before I let the dog that I am walking interact with one of those other dogs so that nothing bad happens. I am available to walk your dog anytime of day any day of the work weekends included as this will most likely be my main source of income for the time being Unfortunately, I don’t have a big enough yard for a dog to run around, but I do live near a dog park that’s fenced in. I would prefer if I could watch the pets at the client’s house, as it would be very beneficial for the pet as they are more in the house they live in.

About: I've been caring for dogs since I was a teenager. Big dogs, small dogs — I love all the pups. I have had a 70lb pit mix rescue for the past 9 years and have seen him go from a skittish dude and terrible walker to a playful lovebug I can take on 5 mile runs. I need help caring for him here and there too, and I often trade pet care with dog-owning friends and usually live with other dog-owners, so I have loads of experience walking multiple dogs at a time and caring for a wide range of furry babies. I am a freelance writer so my schedule is pretty flexible. My calls are typically between 9am-11am one or two times a week, but otherwise I have a lot of leeway with scheduling. It's about trying to maintain routine. I know my pup gets a bit weird when I'm away (either for hours or days) and it's good for him to have some regular routine in those anxious times. As a dog watcher, I try and stick with your established plan as much as possible to help keep your pets feeling at ease with a new person.
