“My dog is 12 years old, visually impaired w/severe cataracts, has arthritis in his hind legs so he can’t go up/down stairs and struggles to walk (35lbs which can be a bit heavy for people to carry), and is diabetic, requiring insulin injections 2x daily at 7:30am/pm. I used to board him but (understandably) they weren’t comfortable taking him at the doggy hotel anymore because they couldn’t give him the attention he needs with all the other dogs. So I turned to Rover. When we met Christina, we arrived at her home with my pup’s tush covered in poop cuz he had an accident in the car while sitting. I wouldn’t have been surprised if she turned us away after - not a great first impression! Silly me. She got out some wipes and took the time to carefully and gently clean him. Christina was very thorough in understanding what he needed, asking questions instead of just guessing or assuming. She sent lots of pictures and videos throughout the weekend, and when I picked him back up, most importantly, he was happy and doing great. I missed him a lot when I was away, but I didn’t worry about him, which is incredible. I cannot thank Christina enough for giving me that peace of mind.”

Previously, I worked at a dog daycare in Korea, where I gained hands-on experience in handling dogs of various breeds and temperaments. During my time there, I also learned proper grooming techniques, including brushing and handling dogs in a gentle and stress-free manner. As a full-time pet sitter, I am always at home, ensuring constant supervision and companionship. I take dogs out for short walks every 2-3 hours and regularly visit the dog park for exercise and socialization. Your pup will receive plenty of attention, playtime, and love while in my care! Pet care is a natural part of my daily life, as I am home all day and always available to give dogs the attention and care they need. I love spending time with them, whether it’s playing, going for walks, or simply providing companionship. Since I have plenty of time to dedicate to them, I can ensure they stay happy, engaged, and well-cared for throughout the day! I have a 2-year-old neutered male dog who is very friendly and loves to play. In my home, pets will always have a companion to keep them entertained and engaged. Since I am home all day, I provide constant supervision, regular potty breaks, and plenty of playtime. I take dogs out for short walks every 2-3 hours and visit the dog park regularly for exercise and socialization. She was so attentive to Ivy’s needs and made sure she was totally comfy on the sofa or bed. Ivy felt such an instant connection with her that when I dropped her off, she didn't even look back at me. When Winter got sick during his stay (and we were out of town), we were so grateful how Clarice took care of him, bringing him to the vet and hospital and checking in on him during the whole experience. She was great about communicating with us during the whole experience and she treated our Winter like he was her own dog... we could tell how much she cared.
Anne Marie hosted my dog Ava for just a day/night, but it was long enough to show she's a great host and caretaker. She took Ava out on a bunch of walks and sent some great photos. Ava was clearly having a blast. Anne Marie took care to learn all about Ava's idiosyncrasies. And when Ava was whining at night over not being let into the bedroom, Anne Marie went and slept next to her on the couch. Above and beyond! Thanks Anne Marie! I hope Ava gets to stay over again.
Celina was really amazing through our entire process of reaching out and boarding my 3 year old dog reactive Shepard mix. We went with a full week and through that Celina was amazing by prioritizing safety and comfort for both my pup and I. Elissa and Andy are the real deal. From the moment we dropped Charlie Brown off, it was clear he was in caring, attentive hands — they treated him like he was their own. They sent plenty of photos and kept us updated throughout our trip, so our minds were completely at ease. Charlie came home happy, healthy, and clearly loved every minute. Daria watched our pup Juneau over Memorial Day weekend for the first time and everything was great! Juneau is reactive to other animals and certain noises so we have to be selective in who we trust to watch her. Daria was incredibly prompt in her communications, attentive to all details of Juneau's care, sent regular updates and photos, and was flexible on pick up/ drop off. We would definitely board Juneau with Daria and her husband again.
Cristina and Ernesto were wonderful sitters for our dog Nora! Nora is incredibly nervous and shy around new people, but they were patient and gentle with her and were able to get her to relax and trust them over the course of just a short stay. They sent daily updates and pictures, and were responsive to questions or feedback we had during the stay. We are often nervous leaving Nora with someone new, but Cristina and Ernesto eased our concerns, and it was clear from the start how committed they were to giving Nora (and us) a positive experience, including thoroughly reading through our notes ahead of time. We would happily book with them again and recommend to others with nervous pups!
Our Senior pup has arthritis and a fussy stomach, but she always comes back from Maggie & Matthew & Winnie & Edmond with a spring in her step. I can see from the photo and video updates they share how safe she feels with them and how much love and attention they give pets in their care. I'm so grateful for how happy and healthy Daisy is during her time at their home.
