“Shelley was a wonderful host for our pup, Pepper. It was our first time leaving Pepper with a sitter and he had a great time. Shelley was attentive and accommodating of all his needs (we’re still working on leash walks and some reactivity). Shelley sent lots of updates and photos/videos of the fun adventures they had together. Additionally, Shelley was willing to meet up beforehand to make sure Pepper was comfortable. She also arranged playdates with her friend’s corgi who was a perfect playmate for Pepper. Overall, we really enjoyed working with Shelley, and Pepper came back happy and relaxed.”

It never felt like Troi was a burden and was clear she was genuinely cared for. We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter and will absolutely be booking with Annabel again in the future. About: Hi! I'm an artist working from home who loves spending time with dogs and cats! I often pet sit for friends, from short visits to boarding for several days, so I’m very comfortable with daily routines like walks, feeding, playtime, and just keeping pets company so they feel safe and happy. I also tend to take way too many photos, so you can expect lots of photo updates while I'm with your pet! I work from home doing freelance work, so my schedule is pretty flexible and I’m able to plan my day around pet care, whether that’s walks, drop-ins, or staying with them for longer periods. I’m available for boarding, house sitting, and walks, and I like keeping a consistent routine so pets feel comfortable and not rushed. I live in an apartment right next to Washington Square Park and Coit Tower, so it’s really easy to get dogs out for nice long walks and some additional short walks to get some fresh air! I also have a 3-year-old cat who’s used to being around dogs. I keep my place clean and calm, and I pay attention to how each pet is feeling so they’re comfortable. I’m also happy to follow any routines or instructions so things feel familiar for them.

“My dog is 12 years old, visually impaired w/severe cataracts, has arthritis in his hind legs so he can’t go up/down stairs and struggles to walk (35lbs which can be a bit heavy for people to carry), and is diabetic, requiring insulin injections 2x daily at 7:30am/pm. I used to board him but (understandably) they weren’t comfortable taking him at the doggy hotel anymore because they couldn’t give him the attention he needs with all the other dogs. So I turned to Rover. When we met Christina, we arrived at her home with my pup’s tush covered in poop cuz he had an accident in the car while sitting. I wouldn’t have been surprised if she turned us away after - not a great first impression! Silly me. She got out some wipes and took the time to carefully and gently clean him. Christina was very thorough in understanding what he needed, asking questions instead of just guessing or assuming. She sent lots of pictures and videos throughout the weekend, and when I picked him back up, most importantly, he was happy and doing great. I missed him a lot when I was away, but I didn’t worry about him, which is incredible. I cannot thank Christina enough for giving me that peace of mind.”
