About: I'm often the person that folks reach out to at the last minute to help look after their dogs or kids (or kid-like dogs). I live in Dogpatch, a block from Esprit Park, and work from our spacious home there. I'd be happy to take dogs out on adventures to Crane Cove, Potrero Hill, or nearby at Esprit, or just hang out at home to keep each other company. If appropriate (and time permits), I can also take dogs hiking, to the beach, or for runs too. I volunteer as a mountain Search and Rescue member and have my WFR and First Aid BLS, although that's not as relevant to dogs. I am American Red Cross Certified for Dog and Cat First Aid and CPR. I work full time, but with a very flexible schedule and entirely from home. This makes it really easy to pop out for a quick trip to the park and take breaks to play. I have a fairly spacious home and can accommodate playing indoors as well as making sure there is a designated safe home base for the dog if needed. There aren't really any areas that are off limits, but I do have the ability to add gates if needed. Lots of natural light make it a really comfy space. Our house is relatively kid proofed (in a friend brings their kid) so no other pets or hazards.

Edison had jam packed day with Ava filled with multiple walks, smells, photo shoots, snacks and naps. Vanessa is quite literally the best! I was in a huge bind and needed someone to watch my two large dogs very last minute while in the midst of the chaos of a cross country move and she went above and beyond to take care of my dogs within a couple of hours of me contacting her. One of my dogs was even sick during their stay and she was so caring and helpful making sure he was okay as well as following up after the fact to make sure they were safe/doing well! She also provided photos and updates throughout the stay which as a pet parent when bringing your dogs to a new place is always appreciated. I would highly recommend Vanessa to care for your pets if you want to leave them with someone who is compassionate, responsible and trustworthy :) ty so so much!

Joshua was very an accommodating considering it was same day! His dog jack jack and my pup who Is mostly cattle dog got on great and Josh kept me updated on walks, play and eating. He kept my guy busy which is what he needed. Definitely recommend if you’re staying downtown!
