“I booked Shanice on very short notice so there was no chance for a meet and greet with my puppy Nico. I took a chance on her based her previous reviews. Nico was at her doggy daycare for 2 days. She is super sweet and friendly. Most of all she adored my puppy. He had a good time with her and her fur baby. She sent me updates on Nico with pictures of his day. Nico was happy when he was dropped off and happy when I picked him up. That is always a good sign. I will definitely book Shanice again!”

Whenever friends travel, I am the one they call to look after their pets, and we genuinely enjoy every moment of it. Dogs are welcome on the couch and the bed, they roam freely around the apartment, and they're treated like part of the family. My apartment is completely safe: no balcony, no open windows, no risk of escape. And right on the corner of Leavenworth and Broadway there's a small park, so bathroom breaks and fresh air are just steps away — no planning needed, anytime they need to go. Your pet never has to spend a single minute alone. I also welcome cats! I’ve lived with cats our whole lives and know how to respect their space and independence while still giving them plenty of love and attention.

About: Grew up with dogs of various ages and breeds, including a boxer, rottweiler, doberman, and jack russell terrier. Most recently lost our buddy, Morton, our salt & pepper miniature schnauzer of 15 years. Our young son also loves animals, especially dogs, and loves having a dog around to hang out with. There will always be at least 1 adult with your dog at all times, unless you've been notified. We also live in a very dog-friendly neighborhood and have many green spaces and parks nearby. As long-time owners of dogs of various ages from puppy to senior, we understand the needs of pets. Our most recent pup, Morton, was 15 years old when he passed, but required a special diet and care for several years before the end of his life. We only watch one dog at a time to make sure your pup receives our full attention and care. While our young song loves dogs and pets, it is also important that any pet in our care is comfortable with young children. If you are unsure how your dog will behave around young kids, please consider other sitters. We do not want to risk the safety of our child or the comfort of your pet. Our apartment is best suited for dogs 30lbs and under. Please help us ensure your pet has the best stay by bringing their preferred bed, water bowl, toy(s), treats, food, and whatever else your pet needs to be comfortable in it's home away from home.

“We were visiting San Francisco and seeing a Giants game so we decided to leave our dog Winnie with Betty for the day. She was exceptional in every way! Great communication, updates throughout the day and lots of pictures! This was our first time ever leaving Winnie with a stranger and she typically takes a long time to warm up to new people so naturally we were a little nervous about leaving her for the day but Betty did an excellent job of making Winnie feel comfortable and secure.”
