“Anthony was one of the best dogsitters I’ve connected with through Rover. He has been super clear with communication, very flexible/accommodating of Fluffy’s needs and my schedule, and most importantly, took super good care of Fluffy. She’s a high maintenance dog that barks a lot, but I could tell immediately that Anthony is very confident in taking care of all kinds of dogs in all situations.”

“I booked Shanice on very short notice so there was no chance for a meet and greet with my puppy Nico. I took a chance on her based her previous reviews. Nico was at her doggy daycare for 2 days. She is super sweet and friendly. Most of all she adored my puppy. He had a good time with her and her fur baby. She sent me updates on Nico with pictures of his day. Nico was happy when he was dropped off and happy when I picked him up. That is always a good sign. I will definitely book Shanice again!”

“Maria provided excellent care for Oxy during his daycare appointment. Her professional, communicative, and confident manner immediately put me at ease. I especially appreciated her thoughtful questions at drop-off and the detailed feedback she shared at pick-up. Oxy seemed relaxed and content, and his meeting Daphne (the sweetest dog!) was a fun bonus. We look forward to working with Maria and seeing Daphne again!”

“Eleanor was super communicative and took the best care of Lani! She also took Lani in for day care super last minute and was flexible with timing, which I really appreciated. 10/10 recommend!”

“Lei is great!!!! Her and her family are extremely friendly, warm, and accommodating. I felt very comfortable leaving my pet with her. The location is lovely; a perfect place for dog walks. Can't wait to use her again!!!”

“Wall-E had a fantastic time with Honor and her pup! She made sure to give him a lot of play time since he does have a lot of energy. Wall-E came home a very happy puppy :)”

“Chriz was so great with our senior boy! I was a little worried leaving Elvis since he was recovering from an ulcer but she provided updates and was able to follow his medication schedule. She's very caring and Elvis seemed to warm up to her quickly and was at ease when he normally can be a little anxious in new environments. Thankful to find a sitter like Chriz!”
About: I am a dog lover, and at times a dog at heart! These creatures fill my void that people can’t while I work as a Nurse. I have grown up with both a Bichon Frise and a Maltese Shi tzu. But whenever I got a chance to be around my cousins doodle or sisters poodle my family felt that much bigger. I’ve always helped take care of our animals as I take care of people. Whether it’s cleaning, feeding, or walking them, it is similar to my full time job as a nurse, just being different mammals. As a nurse, I currently work 3 days for 12 hour shifts. This means, I have 4 days off. However, the days are always different for each week. I am unable to take care of any animals in my home at this time as my rental does not allow for pets! However, if ever given a chance to sit at your place, I’ll abide by your rules.

About: I live in an apartment in Pacific Heights with my shih-tzu-poodle pup Bubba. Both Bubba and I are used to having other pups around as I fostered dogs for two years and started sitting on Rover in June 2014. Fostering has given me experience with more difficult dogs as well as senior dogs. Staying at our home means lots of attention with regular walks and trips to the park. I can also keep you up to date with puppy pics and videos, as well as daily check-ins. If you have questions or want to learn more please message me. Thanks! Sara Why I love dog sitting I grew up with dogs, but I adopted my first dog in 2002. I found and adopted my dear sweet Bubba in 2010, and after some training classes and lots of work on socialization, he has come out of his shell and has grown into a well adjusted friendly pup who loves other dogs and people. “Fabiano was super great with my puppy Taco and Taco loved hanging out with him! We’ll definitely be going back. Fabiano also sent pics and videos and communicated quickly to let us know how Taco was doing. 10/10 would recommend :)”

About: I am a dog walker and trainer based in Emeryville. I am currently working towards my CTC to improve my training skills. I have experience training dogs big and small in single and multi dog homes. I use positive reinforcement (usually food) in my training and do not use aversive tools for training. I love teaching all sorts of behaviors, but especially love training good manners and leash walking skills. I offer regular dog walking for enrichment and exercise as well as training walks that work on walking and public behaviors. For pet sitting: I have owned large and small dogs, cats, insects, rats, fish, and other birds. I have owned a diabetic dog who requires insulin twice a day and a cat who received pills every day for her thyroid. I have experience giving medicine both orally and via shot using positive reinforcement. I’m am currently taking classes learning to be a dog trainer, I am looking for walking clients to get more experience with all types of dogs. I have an amazing friendly dog who is a Guide Dogs for the Blind career change. He is a working service dog, so he may come to sits or on walks if it’s appropriate.

Nicholas was awesome! I contacted him for a last minute daycare and was very flexible with me and accepted the sitting without meeting Queso first. He was great at communicating throughout the day and sent me a lot of updates and photos which i always appreciate. Queso came back happy and very tired. Will definitely be using him again.

Trennedy was very sweet and communicative. She send me updates and pictures which i always love receiving. She was very flexible with me on dropping off and picking up time. Queso really liked her. Second time i used her for daycare, queso didn’t even look back at me. Thats a good sign of how well she took care of him.

Neda was very sweet. She picked up Queso from my job which was a big help! She was very communicative and Queso seemed to really like her. He came back very happy. She send me photos throughout the day which i really appreciate. Will definitely recommend her 💚

Summer did an amazing job with my pup for his first daycare experience! He had a bit of a rough start to the day, causing a small mess that required a shower and a bit of mayhem later at Summer's. Summer handled him wonderfully and updated me every step of the way. She went above and beyond with communication and with handling every situation calmly. I was stressed and she was very reassuring. I can tell Summer has a kind, patient, and loving attitude when it comes to our furry friends and loves them like they are her own! It's also wonderful that my pup and Summer's get along. Highly recommend and I will be coming back!

Tien took care of my best pal Rudy while I was traveling for a conference. She was very flexible and worked with my schedule and kept Rudy all day. He seemed very happy with her because he was fine returning the next day. And she showed him some local sites and shared photos and videos with me. Will definitely ask her to keep Rudy again when I return for another trip. :)

Maria provided excellent care for Oxy during his daycare appointment. We look forward to working with Maria and seeing Daphne again!

Nala had an amazing time with Diana today! Diana was very communicative and sent lots of photos throughout the day. She was very attentive to Nala and asked a lot of questions leading up to the stay so she was well prepared to take care of Nala. They seemed to have so much fun together, and that’s all I could ask for ☺️ Highly recommend Diana!

Adriana is amazing! She was very communicative and took great care of my pup. After daycare, she provided detailed updates on Rover about how my puppy spent the day, including food, potty breaks, and walks. I will definitely reach out to her again for future daycare or boarding!
