“Eunjun was very responsive and flexible when helping watch my dog Toby. She was willing to pick up Toby at a friends house nearby as we were out of town, and also was open to us picking up Toby earlier than scheduled. Such a huge help to have someone responsible and caring watch our senior pup!”

“Fabiano was amazing! He responded on short notice and saved me so much time and hassle. He was so easy to work with. The minute Tiny and I met him I felt at ease that I could trust him to take great care of her while I was away. And he did! I will definitely use Fabiano again!”

“Nathan took great care of Primo. Communication was easy from start to finish, and he sent regular updates with photos, which we really appreciated. Primo came home relaxed and happy, and it was clear he had been well looked after. We’d definitely book with Nathan again. Thanks!”

“Jenna was so great watching our little Dachshund. She arrived almost 15 minutes early to our meeting point. I was worried because our dog had never been away from us . In addition he also has separation anxiety when I am not around. To our surprise he connected with Jenna right away and didn’t even notice when I sneaked away. She took care of our Elliott as if it was her own per. I can highly recommend Jenna and will for sure book her again if needed. Thanks again so much Jenna for giving us an enjoyable night out.”

“Bee was an absolute lifesaver. We had a sudden family emergency and had to leave the country for two weeks. We needed someone to care for Presley at the last minute, and it was our first time ever leaving him, so we were understandably nervous. When we picked him up, we could tell he had been well cared for. Presley came home excited and healthy, which gave us so much comfort during such a difficult time. Her rates may be a little higher than some other sitters, but it was absolutely worth it for the peace of mind—especially with our last-minute dog sitting needs. We highly recommend Bee. Thank you!”

“Wendy went above and beyond to take best care of Moddy! She took gorgeous pictures, picked amazing food and even rearranged her plans to work around a mishap on my side. Enormously impressed and grateful to Wendy!”

“Great sitter! Super flexible and was able to take our dog, even though it was a last-minute request. Very responsive and sent lots of photos, which we really appreciated.”

“I've left Mocha with Ivy a few times and she always takes great care of him. Mocha really likes seeing her and her family. She also sends me multiple pictures and updates. I definitely recommend Ivy.”

“Kimberly took such good care of Chippy while we were away on vacation! It really made our time away more enjoyable to know he was being so well cared for. We got regular updates and photos which were so great. We had such a good experience with Kimberly that we're already booking with her again. Thank you Kimberly!!”

“Jenny and Dominic were so great to Moose! They were flexible, sent lots of updates, and their dog Riku made the stay a lot of fun for our dog. Highly recommend!”

“Shelley was so great taking care of my dog as usual. She sent regular updates, and I could tell really cared for my dog. She was also accommodating when I had to change my pickup time. Would highly recommend her!”

“Derek and Stella took great care of my pup. Oliver can be nervous with new folks but forgot all about me when he was with them. Thank you for all the great pics and updates!”

“Thank you so much for taking such great care of Choo Choo! Communication was excellent, and you always responded quickly, which gave me peace of mind. I really appreciated the tour of your place, and I loved that you have a balcony where Choo Choo could hang out. You were also very accommodating with all of my requests. It was obvious that you genuinely cared about Choo Choo and wanted the best for him. I would definitely book with you again and highly recommend you to anyone looking for a caring and reliable sitter.”

“We are very happy we chose Nick, Jessica and son. Communication was easy, reliable and quick. We felt at ease leaving our dog with them and knew that he would be well cared for. Thank you!”

“I had to leave my pup for a couple of days soon after some surgery. Melissa took on the extra steps for food prep, meds, soft collar without hesitation. She did a great job keeping me posted on how my pup was doing, generally, and specifically about the incision sites. Really appreciate her taking extra care of my pup!”

“Sherry was wonderful with Vesta! First time leaving her overnight and I was anxious, but Sherry was reassuring from start to finish. Responsive, warm, and professional, with great updates throughout the night. She and Billie were just amazing! We will definitely be back!”

“Always a pleasure! Thank you so much for taking such good care of Bernard and sending daily updates with pictures. Really means a lot to be able to travel and know that my dog is in good hands!! 🥰”

“So happy Petunia got to stay with Kara and Val again. She always has a great time with them and we look forward each evening to getting little updates on her day. Can’t say enough good things (neither can she if she could talk)”

Cat caregivers near you - Financial District
Prices are estimates per visit for 1 cat. Pricing may vary based on your search and includes a booking fee of 11%.

About: I lived with two cats of my own, a Ragdoll and a Persian, for four years, and they now stay happily with my parents. Both are long haired breeds, so I am used to daily brushing, checking for mats, and cleaning around the eyes. I also know the basics well: keeping the litter box clean, following feeding routines, refreshing water, and giving medication when needed. I cat sit for my friends whenever they travel, and I have learned that every cat is different. Some want to play right away, and some need space and a slow introduction. I never force attention, I let the cat come to me, and I always send photo updates so you can relax while you are away.

About: I have a cat myself so I know how stressful it can be leaving your pets with someone else. I’m really patient with both cats and puppies, especially the shy or more nervous ones, and I’m happy to let them warm up to me at their own pace. I can help with feeding, litter, walks, playtime, basic grooming and lots of company and cuddles if they want them. I’ll also send plenty of photos and updates because I know I’d want the same for my own pet.

“Sammy was an outstanding catsitter while we were away for an extended trip. She went above and beyond—vacuuming our entire apartment and always washing her hands before refreshing our cats’ food and water. The litter box was spotless every day, and her consistent updates kept us completely at ease about our “kids’” wellbeing. Both cats looked happy and healthy when we returned. Sammy is diligent, responsible, and thoughtful, and we’ll happily book her again whenever our schedules align. Highly recommend!”

“xinyuan did an amazing job! our kitten was a little skittish after being at home alone for a while, but xinyuan took the time to make sure she was comfortable and had everything she needed”

“Jenny was the best! She was very responsive, attentive, and affectionate with our little kitty. She sent us lots of photos while we were away, made sure our kitty was always fed, litter was clean, and she watered our plants. Our kitty absolutely fell in love with her. We would definitely recommend her to pet sit and look forward to her watching our little buddy again 🫶🏽”

“Kaki was fantastic. She was thorough, warm, and sent really detailed updates every visit, which made a huge difference - I felt completely secure leaving my cats with her. One of my cats is on multiple medications and not exactly cooperative about it, and Kaki handled that with no issues. My other cat, who sometimes takes a bit to warm up, took to her right away and got plenty of playtime in. Would absolutely book her again and recommend her without hesitation.”

“I’m so glad and lucky I found Elena! She did a wonderful job with my cat Phoebe while I was out of town for close to a month. She was great with keeping me updated and sending lots of pictures. My cat warmed up to her really quickly! I would definitely reach out to Elena again to take care of Phoebe.”

About: When I was a small child I was gifted a tiny kitten I had to bottle feed, and I was uuuubbbbssessed! Then one day he was let out and I never saw him again, & was heartbroken promised myself I’d have one again. My life has been filled with dogs since I was a child, and I owned dogs for over 16+years. But cats have always called me, even though I could never have one in the past. So instead, I’ve taken care of my friend’s evil lil cat off and on for about 7+ years. Meeko swears he really hates me but I love him. So all I do for him is feed him and give him water. Sometimes he’ll let me feed him a churru, but will moan and groan the whole time. Though I now have a kitten 🐈⬛ named Taco. He is only a crazy kitten, so I don’t know what more to prepare for. Taco’s litter box is cleaned/scooped every other day. (Or depending on how many presents he leaves me🤭) The only experience I have with giving medication, was when Taco was spayed and I had to administer liquid oral medication to him for some days. I look forward to watching your puurrrrfect companion and learning new things from them. ☺️
“Donna is the best, will be booking with her from here on out for any of my cat sitting needs! She is so sweet, organized and provides 10/10 pics of your animals while you are away.”
“Andrea's super attentive and caring and followed all instructions wonderfully! She got along really well with my cat, would definitely book again in the future!”

“Bianca has taken care of our two cats multiple times. She is prompt and follows all directions. The pictures she sends make it clear that the cats are enjoying her visits as she feeds, brushes and plays with them.”

“Jessica was excellent as a pet sitter for our cat. Her communication was excellent and she went above and beyond for her checkins - even offering to remove the trash on her last visit.”

“Highly recommend Natalie for kitty-sitting. She is thorough, attentive, and somehow won over my ultra-shy kitty! I received updates and tons of pictures of Natalie cleaning litter, refilling food and water, and playing with the kitties. She also went above and beyond to accommodate a key handoff while I was out of town. Thank you Natalie!!”

“Joslyn was awesome with my cat. It was her first time visiting and despite my little man being shy at first, he warmed to her immediately and took great care of him! She provided comprehensive updates and pictures following each visit, and I'll for sure be booking her again. Highly recommended!”

“Marian was amazing with my anxious and not always welcoming cat, Parsley, while we were away. She was super communicative, provided great updates and was able to really understand what my cat needed!”

“Absolutely wonderful. Andreya took excellent care of our cats. She is a gem of an old soul who loves animals. Your fur babies are in competent caring hands with Andreya. Going to book her again.”

“Very communicative and great with my cats! They were so happy and clearly well taken care of while I was gone. I appreciate all the photos and updates from Sarocha!”

About: I’ve cared for 2 cats and 1 dog since I was 19. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, and bathe their pets! I work from home full-time in my apartment, which has a built-in dog park. Therefore, my schedule is pretty flexible on weekdays and weekends. I usually walk dogs in the morning and night time. I can also walk around the lunch time. I have a security alarm and camera in my apartment, so I can always monitor the pet running inside or outside.
“Anderson and Pablo took incredible care of Huckleberry while I was away. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’ll absolutely book with them again the next time we’re in San Francisco. Thanks again for taking such great care of Huck!”

“Fabiano was super great with my puppy Taco and Taco loved hanging out with him! We’ll definitely be going back. Fabiano also sent pics and videos and communicated quickly to let us know how Taco was doing. 10/10 would recommend :)”

About: I’ve been a devoted dog dad for 18 years, most recently caring for my senior baby through her final years, including a custom home-cooked diet for kidney health. I said goodbye to her earlier this year, and while I’m not ready to bring home a baby of my own just yet, I miss having one around every day. Sitting and boarding lets me give that same love and attention to other babies in the meantime. I know how to spot subtle changes in appetite, energy, and mood, and I treat every baby in my care like my own. I work from home full-time in a flexible role, so your baby gets consistent company and attention all day, not just quick check-ins. I’m available for daytime care and overnight boarding. Your baby stays in a calm, quiet home with my full attention, no chaotic multi-dog daycare energy. I live right near a park, so your pup gets as many walks as they need to stay active and socialized, not just a quick backyard break. I’m also experienced with senior dogs, special diets, and medication schedules, and I treat every stay like I’m caring for family.
“Had no regrets leaving Buzz with Eunjee & her sweetest pup Theo. She gave multiple walks and outdoor plays and gave many videos and pictures updates throughout the day! Would 100% recommend anyone to trust their dog with Eunjee :)”

About: Stanford professional and gentle dog lover who works 5 days/week from home in South Beach Soma SF. I can only accommodate 1-2 dogs (max) in my 1-BR condo and as I build my boarding experience, giving your dog(s) personalized attention and hugs and love. If you have 2 dogs, they will totally love being alone with me in my clean, cozy condo! I send regular pics and videos to you, so you can have a happy and care-free trip/vacation! And take them down regularly for walks and bio-breaks. :) ADVANTAGES: - Small dog groups (1-2 maximum) - Personalized 1-on-1 attention - Flexible scheduling (appts and cancellations) - Convenient location (easy drop-off/pick-up) DISCLAIMER: I don’t have much experience with untrained puppies and older dogs with complex medication routines. I work from home 5 days/week and can take care of your dogs during the week and weekend (especially long/holiday weekends). I can take them for walks as often as needed, due to my flexible work hours (I barely have any meetings/Zoom calls). You can schedule drop-off and pick-up anytime during the day or night. I live in a 800-sq ft 1-bedroom condo in South Beach SoMa, in the middle of the city, easy for drop-offs and pick-ups. Cute small balcony with artificial grass, where your dogs can sunbathe and enjoy fresh air for hours. Multiple elevators for going up and down (no stairs for your dog to climb). I only wish to accommodate 1 dog at a time, but 2 dogs are fine if they are siblings. If you have 2 dog siblings, this is the perfect place to drop them off, as they will be the only dogs with me.
“Richard is awesome! My puppy was really anxious to be going to a new place but Richard was so good at calming him down and sent me a photo a couple of hours later of Jambo playing with all his new friends. He messaged me photos throughout the day and assured me Jambo was doing great. My puppy slept all evening that first night so he'd gotten plenty of exercise. On the second day he was so happy to see Richard when we arrived so I knew he was going to have another great day. Richard also went the extra mile to get him his lunch since I had forgotten Jambo's special food. I highly recommend Richard to look after your pup - we'll definitely be back!”

“Yasmim and her wife took great care of Lua for the day! I could tell they really liked her, and her them! Yasmim was communicative and sent lots of updates. 10/10 - would recommend ❤️”

She was attentive to Ash, flexible with us on communication and pickup/dropoff, sent lots of cute pictures; everything you want when you’re away from your pup. Ash came home happy, tired, and ready to cuddle. Highly recommend booking with Carlotta.”

“Wonderful mother, daughter and pup, mulan, team! My pup is usually very shy with ew people, but she loves to join them on all the cool outings and adventures. I am so grateful for Ivy, my pup doesn’t miss indoor daycare at all!”

“Lois and her partner took great care of my dog when he needed daycare. She communicated clearly so I knew he was settling in and made sure he was comfortable. My dog was a very happy camper.”

“From the very first contact Yunhee has been nothing but great. She replies promptly, is flexible around timings and sends regular updates, including the best pictures! Elliot has already been twice for day care and both times he came out happy and relaxed. I have peace of mind knowing that he is in Yunhee’s responsible hands. Thank you very much for your care and attention.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since 2013 and dogs have always been a huge part of my life. My first pup, Miko was a Pomeranian I adopted as a senior in 2013. He sadly passed away in 2018, but he taught me so much about caring for older dogs and giving them the patience, comfort, and love they deserve. In 2019, I adopted Dash, and it’s been me and him ever since. Through Dash, I’ve also gained a lot of experience caring for a dog with separation anxiety, and I understand how stressful it can be to leave your pup with someone new. Because of that, I’m especially attentive to dogs who struggle when their humans are away. I have a flexible schedule so your dog will never be left alone while in my care. I want them to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for and not like they’ve simply been dropped off somewhere. When your dog boards with me, it will be a team effort between me and Dash! Dash loves having company and if your pup is comfortable and enjoys other dogs, they’ll have a friendly companion to hang out and play with throughout their stay. Of course, I always take each dog’s personality and comfort level into consideration and make sure interactions are safe and positive. My goal is to make your dog feel like they’re having a little vacation of their own while giving you peace of mind that they’re in loving, attentive hands. I’ll treat your pup like family and keep you updated so you never have to wonder how they’re doing! 🐾❤️ I have a flexible schedule so I can give your fur babies plenty of attention and companionship throughout the day. I would feed your dog after their morning walk and night walk unless otherwise instructed. I would take the dogs on a potty break every 4 hours unless otherwise instructed. My dog’s name is Dash for a reason! 🤪 He loves to try to run out whenever he sees a door open and can be a bit of an escape artist. Because of this, I learned to be especially careful when opening exterior doors and making sure the dog is secured before opening the door.
“Blakey had a wonderful doggy daycare date with Mikayla. The walks in her beautiful neighborhood were a highlight. She immediately fell asleep when she got home. Mikayla provided comfort and extra coziness, I'll definitely be booking with her again”
“Tania is great! She's communicative, caring and understanding of a dog's needs. She contacted me prior to the booked time with questions and made sure she understood my dog's needs. Lovely person & great sitter, highly recommended!”

About: Hi there! My name is Carly and I'm a pet mom to three boys (two cats, one dog) all aged 1-2yrs old! I've spent my whole life surrounded by four legged friends and each one has left paw prints on my heart. 🐾♥️ I welcome almost any personality type save aggressive ones and will meet your sweet pup wherever and however they need during our time together. Whether it's a quiet, peaceful stroll or zoomies and playing fetch, I'll be the stand-in friend who loves doing the same thing! Any time I get home from an adventure outside with Mako, my 1yr old Shiba Inu, he knows it's time to wipe his "city feet" and bum with a gentle, scent-free baby wipe. The same care would be given to your pupper unless of course they wouldn’t be a fan of such things occurring. I look forward to chance of meeting new fluffy friends and adding more paw prints where it counts! 🫶 As a recent Boston transplant, my days are currently spent setting up a new apartment in SoMa with my fiancé and re-building clientele as a private figure skating coach which means right now I’m usually quite free! I enjoy being an early bird and am available in the middle of the day on a regular basis. I am able to do some evening walks, but nothing after dark. My puppy Mako is friendly, but doesn’t walk well with canine companions so all walks would be one-on-one with your doggo unless you own a pair that is accustomed to going together. Time spent checking in on your pup at home would be respectful of their/your space and contact would be initiated at the pace of the dog itself.

“David is great!! He is kind and knows what he is doing with dogs. He has been flexible with my busy schedule and great with my dog!!! I couldn't give a higher recommendation!”

About: Thanks for visiting my profile! I am excited to connect with local pet parents and offer dedicated weekday companionship for your pup. What sets me apart is that I am not looking for commercial pet sitting; this is entirely driven by my love for dogs and a desire to spend my days around cute pups. This is not my primary job, and my main motivation is simply the pure joy of having furry companionship. After being the primary caregiver and trainer raising my own Maltipoo for 12 wonderful years, I miss that daily connection deeply and want to dedicate my weekdays to caring for a dog. My goal is to find a limited number of small, non-shedding dogs to look after regularly so we can build a familiar, comfortable, and fun routine. To start, I will only look after one dog per day until our comfort and trust are fully established. Because my focus is entirely on finding the right long-term match, you can count on highly attentive, personalized care. I work from home in the safe Rincon Hill neighborhood, which means your dog will have constant supervision and companionship throughout the day. My home features a secure, gated green yard for safe outdoor sniffing and fresh air, and we are located in close proximity to great dog-friendly parks for gentle weekday outings. If your dog loves going out to places together, our area also features many dog-friendly cafes and restaurants perfect for a social outing. I bring the same patience, structured training habits, and deep care that I practiced with my own dog for over a decade. Your dog will have a dependable second home during the week, and you will have a consistent, trustworthy partner to help out whenever needed. Because I work from home, pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine. My flexible schedule allows me to easily adapt to your pet's specific potty schedule, take them for walks, and break for playtime whenever they need it. Your pet will enjoy consistent attention and companionship throughout the day. I provide pet care in a bright, clean, and welcoming environment located within a safe, gated community. Your pet will have access to a large green lawn for outdoor time, and the indoor space is always kept spotless and filled with plenty of warm, natural sunlight. It is the perfect peaceful setting for your pet to relax and feel right at home.
About: I grew up with a Yorkshire Terrier who was part of my family until she passed away at 16 years old, so I have cared for a dog through every stage of life, from a playful puppy to a senior dog who needed medication, gentle walks, and extra patience. I also pet sit for my friends whenever they travel, and I have handled feeding schedules, daily walks, and dogs who get nervous when their owner is away. I am calm and careful, I never put a dog in a risky situation, and I always send photo updates so you know exactly how your dog is doing. I work part time from home with a flexible schedule, so I am around during the day and can easily fit drop in visits and walks into my routine. Mornings, midday, and evenings all work for me on weekdays, and I am available on weekends too. Because I set my own hours, I can also respond quickly if you need to add a visit or change a time at short notice. I am a calm and careful person, and that is exactly how I handle your pet. In your home I follow your instructions closely: the same feeding times, the same routines, and the same house rules you already use. I always double check doors, windows, and gates before I leave, and I keep the leash secured at all times. On walks I choose quiet, familiar routes and avoid crowded streets, off leash dog areas, and anything that could put your pet in a risky situation. If something seems off, I contact you right away, and I send photo updates after every visit.
“Elric has been walking my dog a few times now, and I appreciate his approach with Izzy. She's very bonded to me and getting her to go with a walker, while I'm home, is a pretty difficult task, but Elric manages it quite well. He shows the right amount of assertiveness, kindness, coaxing and patience. I appreciate that he showed interest in anything that might set Izzy off, things she likes, etc. And I really appreciate that he actually takes her on a walk (I've had some walkers who just circle the block for 20 minutes!). All in all, it's working out well.”
“Chriz was so great to agree to take our rambunctious 2-year-old Boston Terrier on a morning walk. She was punctual, kind, and great with our dog. Thanks, Chriz!”

“Yang is great! I've booked her a few times, and she has taken care of both my dog and cat. She is always on time, prompt on responding, and reliable. Additionally, she has been flexible and able to help me out in a pinch when I've needed to book last minute. We love Yang and (have already) recommend her to anyone who is looking to book a reliable/trustworthy pet sitter.”

“Carolyn is nice, communicative, reliable, and trustworthy. She walked my dogs every day at least once per day (occasionally booked for twice per day) for about 1.5 weeks while I was at work. I would book with her again.”

About: Hi! I’m an experienced and dependable pet sitter and dog walker with a genuine love for animals of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I currently own a German Shepherd, so I’m very comfortable caring for large, strong, and active dogs. I also grew up with a Cockapoo, which gave me experience with smaller breeds and different exercise and care needs. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, potty breaks, and plenty of attention and companionship while you’re away. I’m happy to take dogs on long walks, play their favorite games, follow their normal routines, and provide updates so you can feel confident that your pet is safe and well cared for. I currently have full-time availability, which allows me to be very flexible with scheduling and spend plenty of quality time with the pets in my care. Whether your dog needs a quick walk, extra exercise, or someone dependable to keep them company, I’ll treat them with the same care and attention I give my own pets. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I always prioritize safety, communication, reliability, and making sure every pet feels comfortable and loved! Pet care fits very easily into my daily routine because I have a very flexible schedule and am available throughout the week. I’m able to accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening walks or visits, and I’m happy to work around each dog’s normal routine. Safety and trust are always my top priorities when caring for pets. I treat every dog like my own and make sure they feel comfortable, secure, and cared for at all times. I always follow the owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walking routines, crate preferences, and any special rules for the home. In a client’s home, I am respectful of their space and make sure their pet’s routine stays as normal as possible. I pay close attention during walks, keep dogs safely leashed, avoid unsafe situations, and make sure they get the right amount of exercise, attention, and care. As a German Shepherd owner, I am comfortable caring for dogs with different sizes, energy levels, and personalities. I understand how important patience, structure, and consistency are, especially when caring for strong or high-energy dogs. My goal is to make both pets and owners feel completely comfortable and confident.
About: My passion for both dogs and athletics makes me a great candidate to walk your dog and/or make sure your dog stays active during boarding! I've been around dogs since I was a kid and I love how smart, loyal, and therapeutic they are. I also ran high school varsity cross-country in the Nevada desert, so I have stamina and I love running, mountain running, incline walking, power-walking, and just walking in general. Walking my mini goldendoodle, Vail, is one of my favorite things to do in life and we both look forward to our walks every day. My dog Vail is spoiled rotten and it would be my pleasure to spoil your dog, too! Vail is part of the family and is my top priority! My dog eats, drinks, and is taken care of before I am. Your dog will be family and come before I do as well!
About: Hi, we’re Kaki and Seba - newly-wed, working professionals in SF :) We have 3 cats with super different personalities and we adore them all to bits. We love taking funny and cute pictures of them and will definitely do the same for your furbabies 📸 We have extensive experience caring for cats of all ages and temperaments - from young kittens bursting with energy to old senior cats who needed oral & topical medications. Although we’re not currently dog parents, Seba used to take care of a shy Cavapoo at their family home, and we both have experience taking care of dogs small and big. We also have experience with guinea pigs, gerbils, rabbits, and reptiles. Our approach is loving, attentive, and playful. We treat each and every fur-babies like our own, letting them take the lead on how they want to spend our time together🐾 We don’t squeeze our schedule with a lot of pet sitting - we signed up because we genuinely love hanging out with animals :) This means we are not rushing from one visit to another, and we give a lot of attention and care for each and every visit. Currently, Kaki takes the majority of the visits because of a more flexible work schedule, but let us know if you have preference / if you’d like both of us to be there! After ensuring the basic chores are taken care of, we spend the rest of the time playing and hanging out with them for the full duration of time that we’re booked for. Please let us know their favorite activities :)
About: I am a responsible, experienced dog/cat owner-lover and will treat yours like my own. I was raised in a family that had dogs including 3 dachshunds, a mutt, and a chow over the years. As an adult I have been the loving pet parent to three adult cats consecutively. Very comfortable around cats and dogs. Available for dog-walking, cat/dog drop-in's, and daytime extended stay drop-in's / house-sitting (no overnights). I have worked remotely for over ten years so have a very flexible schedule. Walking your dog or visiting your cat would be a pleasure and a chance for some fresh air and exercise. I do this for supplemental income during my free time and the opportunity to visit different neighborhoods. I am available daytime hours, not overnight (mid-morning til before sunset). I will give your cat or dog as much or little attention in your home as you (or they!) specify. Reliable, trustworthy. Not able to care for your pets at my home.
“Paula is my absolute favorite! She is very reliable and treats Gunner like he’s her own pup. She’s been my primary Rover for months; Gunner’s walker again and again!”

About: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with a Sapsali (삽살이) — a traditional Korean breed known for being loyal, shaggy, and full of personality — and she was my companion for 12 wonderful years. Losing her five years ago was harder than I expected, and it took me a long time before I felt ready to be around dogs again in a meaningful way. Now I'm finally at a place where I want to reconnect, and what better way than caring for other people's beloved pups. I work from home, and my work schedule is pretty flexible anytime during the day. Mon-Fri 8am-10pm or Sat&Sun 8am-3pm is preferred I currently don’t have a pet at home. I’m open to having the dog over at home Tuesday-Thursday 9am-5pm and I’m available for walking anytime Mon-Fri 8am-10pm or Sat&Sun 8am-3pm

About: Hi, I’m Jas and I love dogs. People who know me well call me “The Dog Whisperer”. As a kid, I grew up in a home full of happy dogs. One of my greatest friendships was with my Lhasa Apso and I miss him terribly. I work from home as a textile designer and this affords me the time to give your dog the right attention including exercise, playtime and lots of cuddles. I know you love your dog and I will go out of my way to put your mind at ease when you leave them in my care. Their comfort, exercise and care is my priority… rest assured that specific needs and routine of your dog will be followed. I will walk your dog around our neighbourhood. Our outing will have a good mix of walking on leash and visiting the dog park (gated/fenced) while keeping safety as the paramount goal at all times for your baby. It will be home away from home for your baby! I know that leaving your dog can’t be easy, but rest assured it’s in good hands. Under my care you can travel stress free. Your dog will have a ball and so will you … it’s a win-win! I look forward to hosting while you travel without the stress for work or vacation. Thank you for your trust.

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was 10. Friends and family have relied on me to check in with, feed , play and snuggle with their pets. I’m currently working part-time so, time is flexible. I will have a plenty of time to hang out with your pets. I’m available for week day and on weekends also. I will set my available time on my schedule. I always try to follow the consistent routine. My own cats have set time for meal and play. I bring the same structure and attentiveness to every pets I care for.

About: I’ve taken care of all dogs, and had an English Cream Golden Retriever named Lucy growing up. I trained her as a puppy and cared for her all the way into senior care. I’m great with all pet ages, don’t mind washing/cleaning your pet, giving long walks, or anything else your pet loves to do. I will always make sure your pet has the best time when they’re with me! Pet care is best for me from Thursdays - Sundays, as well as holidays. I work full time in person, but am back home usually by 5:15. I make sure to write down everything about the dog. Eating schedule, bathroom schedule, etc. Recently, I just set up a camera for the dog I just dogsat to make sure nothing is going wrong. I clean the dog’s paws to ensure that they aren’t dirtying the home. I also vacuum and wipe down once a day. I would love to meet you and your pet!
“Yasmim and Kaline went above and beyond to make sure that Jack felt comfortable and secure while I visited my family. Jack has bad separation anxiety, and I really appreciated their efforts. They kept me well informed with frequent messages, photos, and videos, and I could see that Jack was chilling and relaxed. They even captured his goofy smile! Jack takes several medications, and they dosed him on time and without complaint from him. I highly recommend them!”

“Henri had a great weekend at Paulina’s! She came out to greet us and then took the leash and introduced Henri to her home-he was so comfortable with her from the start. Our dog has hardly been away from us in his 7 years and I was a little nervous about leaving him with someone new, but I soon realized I had nothing to worry about. Paulina is a very relaxed person and sent updates and adorable photos each day. It made me happy to see him look so at home with her. Don’t let her lack of a backyard discourage you-Henri was happy and tired when we picked him up. We will call on her whenever we need a dog sitter for when we visit our daughter in SF. Paulina was an absolute lifesaver and we are so happy to have found her!”

“Jillian was amazing with my slightly neurotic dog! He came back happy and relaxed, which is absolutely not always the case. We will absolutely be using her again!”

“I needed boarding for my energetic Boston Terrier while I was away for two weeks, and I couldn’t have been more pleased with Anderson! He sent daily updates, and the photos truly helped me feel connected to Lola—I missed her so much. She settled into her new environment right away, and it was clear she was thriving. From walks along the Embarcadero to hikes in the headlands, dog park adventures, and playtime at home, Anderson kept her active, social, and engaged. I could see from the pictures that she was calm, happy, and clearly very well cared for. Anderson is not only attentive and caring, but he also has a natural ability to lead and understand dogs. He genuinely loves what he does, and it shows. He’s a true gem, and I highly recommend him to anyone on Rover looking for top-tier care. I’ll definitely be booking with him again whenever Lola needs a sitter—thank you so much, Anderson!”

“Irina is an incredibly kind, passionate, and professional dog sitter. She took my dog on adventures all around the city and spent relaxing days with her. She regularly sent me photo updates, and it made me so happy to see how well she was cared for and how much fun she was having. I'm grateful for her help and would recommend her to everyone.”

“Rosalie and Frank were simply amazing. We will definitely be reaching out to them again when we are in the city. They took great care of my senior dog and were super gentle with his needs (meds, walks, back issues, etc.). You won't go wrong with them. Thanks guys!”

“Emily is an incredible sitter for my little guy. She sends amazing videos and photos throughout the day and you can tell she loves taking care of him. I’m so lucky that I found her!!”

“Katie was very easy to work with and took great care of our dog. Dobby had a great time playing with her dog Sadie and it was nice that her place is located so close to the dog run!”

“Katie is such an amazing sitter. My dog can be a bit skiddish around new folks but he warmed up to Katie immediately. She was so easy to communicate with and kept me updated with cute photos. It really put my mind at ease knowing my dog was being loved on by such a kind and warm person 🥹”

“Victoria is amazing! She took care of Bear for ~10 days and kept me updated with all the fun doggy dates each and every day. She made my vacation truly worry free. After picking up Bear kept looking behind for Victoria since we were leaving her. He loves her and I can see it. Definitely booking her again for my next vacation in November!”

“Megan is awesome. She has a fantastic place with a nice backyard I’m sure Max enjoyed. Max was recovering from an injury and Megan took great care, keeping that cone of shame firmly in place. We will definitely leave Max with Megan again!”

“Odin seemed happy staying with Nicole & her pup! Easy process from drop off to pick up; communication was consistent. Grateful that she could accept the booking just a couple days before. Great location on the North side of SF. Will book again if in the area! Thanks Nicole! ❤️”

“Gabby is literally THE. BEST. EVER. Absolutely amazing. Pablo can be a bit difficult and intense (to say the least, he's an Aussie after all), and has some quirks that require certain accommodation. He always wants attention. Sticks to people like velcro. Loves to bark at strangers. Plenty of exercise. But he's just a sweetie at heart and Gabby immediately recognized that. I was gone for a week and it was clear that they really bonded. Usually Pablo is ecstatic when we return from trips/have been away, but this time it was clear that he was going to miss her and had been having a blast. Gabby followed all of my directions to a tee, gave constant updates and took amazing pictures and videos (really above and beyond), and made sure that Pabs was comfy, happy, and well-attended to at all times. Outside of leaving him with my own family (who he's very familiar with), Gabby took the best care of him of anyone who's ever watched him (she may even beat out my fam honestly). I would trust her to watch Pablo ANY time, and can't recommend her or praise her enough. Just know that with Gabby, your pet will be in the best/kindest/most loving hands possible. And outside of how great she is with Pablo, she's just a wonderful person in general. Kind, smart, responsible, intuitive. So great. Gabby, again, I can't thank you enough and hope that Pablo is able to spend more time with you in the future! 15/10.”
“Abdel has been a great caretaker for our 4 yo Bernedoodle who is very much a people person. She always comes home looking great and seeming happy. We will continue to book him for our vacations!”
