Somehow, Kaki managed to coax him out, play with him, and become friends with him on her very first visit. We were genuinely amazed! Throughout the week, Kaki sent us lots of photos and videos, which gave us tremendous peace of mind while we were on the other side of the country. She also went above and beyond by cleaning up the occasional cat mess (including the classic “poop on the floor and stuck to the butt” situation), which we really appreciated. It’s clear that Kaki genuinely cares about the pets she looks after. We came home to two happy, well-cared-for cats, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book her again. About: When I was a small child I was gifted a tiny kitten I had to bottle feed, and I was uuuubbbbssessed! Then one day he was let out and I never saw him again, & was heartbroken promised myself I’d have one again. My life has been filled with dogs since I was a child, and I owned dogs for over 16+years. But cats have always called me, even though I could never have one in the past. So instead, I’ve taken care of my friend’s evil lil cat off and on for about 6+ years. Meeko swears he really hates me but I love him. So all I do for him is feed him and give him water. Sometimes he’ll let me feed him a churru, but will moan and groan the whole time. Though I now have a kitten 🐈⬛ named Taco. He is only a crazy kitten, so I don’t know what more to prepare for. Taco’s litter box is cleaned/scooped every other day. (Or depending on how many presents he leaves me🤭) The only experience I have with giving medication, was when Taco was spayed and I had to administer liquid oral medication to him for some days. I look forward to watching your puurrrrfect companion and learning new things from them. ☺️

It’s the worst case scenario but while sitting Midnight had a medical incident that was purely a result of his age. Avery called me and I was with her over FaceTime as she talked to him, comforted him, and loaded him to go to the vet. It’s a scary situation and was so thankful for her care while I was away. For someone to be so sweet and organized and caring in a situation like that I’m so so grateful. Not to mention the oh so happy pictures of the treats and pets while she was checking in! In my first 6 1/2 years, I served over 1,000 unique pets. Before starting my business, I was on track to go to veterinary school, and have worked under 5 veterinarians, including a mobile vet, and at a spay-neuter clinic. You may recognize me from when I worked at San Francisco’s first pet shop, The Animal Company. I taught Pet-CPR and First Aid & have a fair amount of experience with senior cats & dogs, as well as dogs who are reactive & need to avoid interactions with passers-by while out on walks. I can also trim nails, give oral/injectable medicine, administer fluids, etc. I have a pretty flexible schedule; I own a consulting business and travel all over the city for work. I usually don’t work outside of San Francisco- feel free to inquire about my travel rates & availability. Kara was prompt and responsive in setting up a meet & greet where she got to talk with us and get to know Petunia a little bit. We were nervous as it was our first time leaving her, but she warmed up to Kara, Val and their adorable daughter Mae quite quickly! Kara was great about sending updates and photos and made us feel secure, at ease and able to enjoy our time away. Cannot recommend them enough 🐶😁”

He’s an anxious dog and the first day wasn’t easy but she helped him to adjust by taking him on a walk, which helped him to calm down. The rest of his stay was great (Maria sent multiple pictures daily) and Reese seemed to enjoy spending time with other fur friends.”

Whenever friends travel, I am the one they call to look after their pets, and we genuinely enjoy every moment of it. Dogs are welcome on the couch and the bed, they roam freely around the apartment, and they're treated like part of the family. My apartment is completely safe: no balcony, no open windows, no risk of escape. And right on the corner of Leavenworth and Broadway there's a small park, so bathroom breaks and fresh air are just steps away — no planning needed, anytime they need to go. Your pet never has to spend a single minute alone. I also welcome cats! I’ve lived with cats our whole lives and know how to respect their space and independence while still giving them plenty of love and attention.
