Hi! I’m Summer — a San Francisco-based dog lover with a flexible schedule, active lifestyle, and a genuine love for animals. I know how important it is to leave your animal with someone you trust, so I focus on providing dependable, attentive care in a calm, loving environment where they feel safe and at home. I have my own dog, Benson, an almost 2-year-old Golden Retriever who is sweet, social, and loves exploring the city with me. Having him has made me deeply in tune with animals needs, routines, and comfort levels. I can sincerely say when your dog or cat is with me, they’ll receive the same love, attention, and care I give my own.

Summer was wonderful! She took great care of our 3-year-old Shih Tzu, Panda, and kept us updated with regular photos, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. She was flexible, communication was easy, and both drop-off and pick-up were a breeze. We really appreciated her care and would happily trust her to watch Panda again. Highly recommend!

Tempted to gatekeep, but Summer is the best! She's responsive, sweet, and flexible, and it's clear she really cares about dogs/animals. Butters received so much love and attention, and he got along great with her retriever Benson. I will absolutely be asking her first when Butters needs a sitter again.
Summer is amazing!! She is super attentive, communicative and went above all expectations. Truly felt that my cat Ron was being cared for by a sweet loving energy! He was very happy and healthy when I got back home.
Summer was wonderful! She happily shared updates, pics and video. She cared about making sure Ruby felt safe, got exercise, had fun, and even introduced a food topper (allergy appropriate) that enticed her to eat all her food. I could tell Ruby was sad to leave Summer and Benson. Would give more than five stars if I could!! Highly recommend.

Schedule
I work a flexible schedule, which allows me to give dogs plenty of attention, walks, potty breaks, and companionship throughout the day. I’m able to accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening routines for the most part and always try to keep pets on a schedule similar to what they’re used to at home.

I maintain a clean, pet-friendly environment and closely supervise all pets in my care. I pay close attention to routines, triggers, leash safety, feeding instructions, and any special needs or behaviors you share with me ahead of time.

A typical day
A typical day in my care includes morning and evening walks, regular potty breaks, playtime, enrichment, and plenty of downtime based on your dog’s routine and energy level. If you’re comfortable, I’m happy to provide organic duck, salmon, and beef treats, along with Portland Pet Food Company food toppers and beef broth with meals at no extra cost. Since I have a flexible schedule, your dog will get lots of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. My dog, Benson, is friendly and social, so there’s built-in play and company if your dog enjoys it. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, comfortable, and at home while you’re away.
