Pet care experience
Reliable boarding for dogs + cats
I've had pets since I was young, including rabbits, guinea pigs, cats and dogs. My husband and I currently have two special needs cats (cerebellar hypoplasia) that we rescued four years ago. We would keep them in a separate part of the apartment when boarding your pet. We had an English Bulldog for almost seven years until he passed away unexpectedly in 2021. We missed the company of dogs and I signed up to Rover in 2022, and I've been watching dogs since then! I recently moved from Hoboken, NJ to San Francisco. I miss all the dogs I used to watch there - I had a wonderful daycare squad!! I currently have an 18 month old micro cavapoo, Winnie, who is looking for friends so as long as your pup is okay with other dogs they will have a great time with her! I plan to take one guest dog per night for boarding (this may change if I accommodate emergencies/higher demand during holidays). I work from home so your pup won't be on their own, and I promise to keep them safe and happy while in my care!

Daniele was extremely communicative and ensured that my mini poodle Isla had a wonderful day! Isla went on many walks and was even able to play with some other small dogs - which she loves! Excellent sitter - wouldn't hesitate to leave my pup with Daniele again.

I was so glad to find Daniele’s Doggy Day Care. I just needed childcare while I got my hair done in the city. It looks like my Riley had a lot of fun with her little doggy and I appreciated her flexibility with timing since I wasn’t sure how long I would be. I will definitely use her again in the future!

Schedule
I work from home with limited exceptions (in the office once a month!) so I will be around to keep your pet company during the day, and I can be flexible on walk schedules and frequency and other specific routine requests.

Safety, trust & environment
We would board your pet in our 1st floor apartment. It's safe and we have pet bowls, poop bags and plenty of toys. Your pet would be supervised and there'll be no shortage of snuggles, scratches and play time!
Pets
A typical day
We usually work around the requirements of the dog and adapt accordingly; some popular activities include the dog park (if they're allowed!), waterfront walks and the beach. We also hide treats around the apartment for dogs to find (treasure hunt!) and we have plenty of toys to play with at home too. If there's anything fun your dog enjoys, please let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate!
