I have a flexible remote working schedule, there are times I do have to go into the office but it depends on which weeks. I usually go into the office Tuesdays and Thursdays but can be flexible depending if it is a longer boarding. My Sr. PM role allows me to devote time and energy into caring for pets and coordinating with the owners. I put my clients first and I am an early riser/night owl open to accommodating any early morning or late night needs. I can take my meetings working remotely while housesitting/boarding and can do dog day care/dog walk on my breaks, before/after work and on the weekends. I unfortunately do not have a car so your home will have to be in proximity of my home in order for me to house sit/take care of your dog as I’ll need to take the bus.

I am a trusted dog walker & house sitter around the neighborhood. I will be in constant communication with you at all times, sending cat or pupdate pictures along the way. I send updates with pics in the am, midday and at night to keep you updated at all times. I discuss with the owner all of the cat/dog’s needs during the stay. I’ll make sure your pet feels safe and right at home. I was recently trained in Dog CPR 🐕⛑️ If boarding your dog, I have a 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment in Nob Hill I can send you a video of our apartment or you’re more than welcome to come on over to say hi beforehand to check out our space. I live here with my boyfriend Nate. There’s about 2 flight of stairs until our front door (~14 steps total). Nate has 2 goldens back home in Ohio, we’re both dog lovers and our apartment is pet safe. If housesitting, I’ll come by to do a meet and greet beforehand to say hello to you and your dog and discuss all of the details!

Information Laura N. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors beforehand (e.g., if your dog does not like to be pet on the face or belly etc), if the dog is OK to say hello to other dogs on walks and any other specific details would be helpful. If boarding, I will need to know if your dog barks loudly/constantly or if they are potty trained to see if I can board them or not. I have neighbors below and above so if barking is consistent and loud, I most likely cannot board your pup to be respectful to my neighbors. If it’s occasional, it won’t be an issue. We have “large dogs” as an option for boarding but it will depend on the type of dog / energy of dog if we’re allowed to board them or not in our apartment. Crate trained preferred but not required, if we’re boarding and the dog is used to sleeping on the couch/living room without whining that is OK. We can’t have loud whining throughout the night due to neighbors
A typical day
A day will start with breakfast and a nice walk around Nob Hill. When doing doggy day care/boarding I bring out their toys for us to play with, provide treats if OK’d by their owner and will make sure they feel at home/having a fun time. We can play tug of war, fetch etc we will then take a mid day walk along the water and a walk at night before bed. If housesitting, I listen to the owner what toys/treats I should use, what area in the house we can be in, what areas are closed off and a list of to do’s before I lock up the home. If I ever do have to leave to go to the store, I put on the tv for noise and preferably if you do have a crate available please bring that with when boarding, thank you!

Pet care experience
I’ll care for your dog like they’re my own—with patience, attention, and lots of love. I have experience with pups of all ages, from high-energy youngsters to gentle seniors, and I tailor care to each dog’s unique personality and needs. Since I’m not able to have a dog of my own right now, I truly love spending time with yours. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to making sure both you and your pet feel completely at ease. You can expect clear communication and plenty of photo updates (pupdates included!). I treat every home with respect—leaving things exactly as I found them—and I’m happy to help with small extras like watering plants while you’re away. For cats, I currently offer drop-in visits only. I also volunteer locally with Golden Retriever rescue and senior dog outreach programs, helping with adoptions, fosters, and community events—so caring for animals is a big part of my life. BOARDING INFO Your dog’s comfort is my priority. Crates are welcome if your dog is used to one, but not required. If not crate-trained, dogs should be comfortable sleeping in the living room or on the couch (no dogs on the bed, so please bring their usual bed if possible). Typical daily routine: - Morning walk: 7–8am - Midday break: 12–1pm - Evening walk: 5–6pm - Final potty: 9–10pm I’ll always check in about your dog’s specific routine and keep you updated with photos after walks and visits. GOOD TO KNOW - Dogs must be potty trained - If your dog may have occasional accidents, please let me know in advance - Best suited for dogs up to ~50 lbs (small apartment) - Please trim nails before boarding (hardwood floors—thank you!) If possible, please send booking requests a few weeks in advance so I can reserve time for your pup. I’d love to meet them!
Reviews

Laura took care of our Yorkie, Olllie, for seven hours. This was our first time with Laura. Laura was very responsive, sent pictures of neighborhood walks and Ollie enjoyed his time. We will definitely use Laura again.

Laura did an amazing job watching our dog Maia for the day. We’ll definitely work with Laura again!

Laura was absolutely fantastic! Lola needed some extra care this weekend as she was recovering from surgery, and Laura went above and beyond in both her care for Lola and keeping us informed on how she was doing. Absolutely would board Lola with her again!
Laura has been nothing short of wonderful these past two times we’ve left Ollie with her. She is punctual, communicative, and was very considerate of making sure Ollie’s daily routine didn’t get disrupted in any way. We truly appreciated her multiple updates while we were out exploring the city and would use her in a heart beat again :)
