About: I love animals so much but unfortunately can’t have pets at the moment, so I’d be happy to care for yours :’) I’ve had dogs most of my life and trained our puppies when we brought them home, so I’m very comfortable with any size pup. I’ve also volunteered at my local animal shelter periodically, since elementary school. In the last 5 years I have dog and cat sat for friends, neighbors and coworkers. I enjoy being able to lend a helping hand and spend time with animals whenever I can, so thought I’d try rover and expand my network a little. I currently work from home but am unable to have a pet so I would love to get some dog or cat time in by taking care of your fur baby while you're away! I currently live with no other pets. She even tried to brush his teeth and trim his nails, which shows her dedication to giving the best care to her clients. She was super flexible about pick-up on the last day too, and left a little treat in Marble’s backpack which was the sweetest touch. I felt totally at ease knowing Marble was with her. “Samantha was simply incredible. She's a cat person through-and-through. She dropped by for daily visits for about a week and always left great videos and photos. Both of our cats have quirks, including picky eating habits, diabetes, and occasionally peeing outside their litter box. But Samantha wasn't phased by any of it. Our cats can be standoffish, but it was obvious that Samantha made them feel comfortable. I will absolutely be contacting her in the future to take care of our cats, and I recommend you do, too!”

About: When I was a small child I was gifted a tiny kitten I had to bottle feed, and I was uuuubbbbssessed! Then one day he was let out and I never saw him again, & was heartbroken promised myself I’d have one again. My life has been filled with dogs since I was a child, and I owned dogs for over 16+years. But cats have always called me, even though I could never have one in the past. So instead, I’ve taken care of my friend’s evil lil cat off and on for about 6+ years. Meeko swears he really hates me but I love him. So all I do for him is feed him and give him water. Sometimes he’ll let me feed him a churru, but will moan and groan the whole time. Though I now have a kitten 🐈⬛ named Taco. He is only a crazy kitten, so I don’t know what more to prepare for. Taco’s litter box is cleaned/scooped every other day. (Or depending on how many presents he leaves me🤭) The only experience I have with giving medication, was when Taco was spayed and I had to administer liquid oral medication to him for some days. I look forward to watching your puurrrrfect companion and learning new things from them. ☺️

We have a 2.5 year old dachshund who we crate, potty, and leash trained. We are both dog lovers with some of our friends saying Shelby is “the most dog obsessed person I’ve ever met.” We will strive to make your dog feel as comfortable as possible while respecting any rules and boundaries you have in your own home. We absolutely love every kind of dog and would give your fur baby 5 star care ⭐️ We both work from home, so our schedules are very flexible. We take our dog out 3 times a day for potty breaks and several walks a day. We can really take your dog out whenever is needed, as one of us is always available. Our home is very, very dog proof. Our dog loves to eat everything so we’re very mindful of keeping things tidy. Especially with larger dogs, we put away our dogs smaller toys, so that there’s no possibility of them being ingested (there’s the labrador experience haha!) we will be around and loving your pet 24/7 while they’re in our care ❤️

She went out of her way to make sure Coffee was comfortable in the space before we left on our trip, and we felt confident the entire time that Coffee was being well cared for. Right before our trip, Coffee was put on a course of antibiotics and Laura was wonderful in adding the medication into Coffee's care schedule, despite his strong aversion to medication of any kind! About: Shelby grew up with Labrador retrievers ever since she was 5 years old. She has experience with medication administration, ear cleaning, walking, and more. We have a 2.5 year old dachshund who we crate, potty, and leash trained. We are both dog lovers with some of our friends saying Shelby is “the most dog obsessed person I’ve ever met.” We will strive to make your dog feel as comfortable as possible while respecting any rules and boundaries you have in your own home. We absolutely love every kind of dog and would give your fur baby 5 star care ⭐️ We both work from home, so our schedules are very flexible. We take our dog out 3 times a day for potty breaks and several walks a day. We can really take your dog out whenever is needed, as one of us is always available. Our home is very, very dog proof. Our dog loves to eat everything so we’re very mindful of keeping things tidy. Especially with larger dogs, we put away our dogs smaller toys, so that there’s no possibility of them being ingested (there’s the labrador experience haha!) we will be around and loving your pet 24/7 while they’re in our care ❤️
“Kara and Val were a godsend when we needed a last minute sitter for our pup. Kara was prompt and responsive in setting up a meet & greet where she got to talk with us and get to know Petunia a little bit. We were nervous as it was our first time leaving her, but she warmed up to Kara, Val and their adorable daughter Mae quite quickly! Kara was great about sending updates and photos and made us feel secure, at ease and able to enjoy our time away. Cannot recommend them enough 🐶😁”

About: With over 25 years of dog experience, ranging from extra-large to toy breeds, and 8 years of cat experience, I bring a lifetime of hands-on animal care to my work. I adopted my dog, Sokka, from the SFSPCA in 2020. He was described as “mouthy, jumpy, rambunctious” and transported from Fresno to SF. Today, he's a well-mannered companion who walks calmly on leash and knows over 20 commands, including ultimate recall. I also raised my tuxedo cat, Suki, at 3 months old when I adopted her in 2017. I’m certified in Red Cross Dog & Cat First Aid. I’m known for being patient, observant, loving, and pragmatic, with a strong instinct for reading animal body language. Your pets are in calm, capable hands. I'm currently funemployed and available to house-sit and drop-ins during weekdays, offering dog-walks anytime, and am flexible for any services on weekends. I go on runs early in the morning and do some weight lifting in the afternoon I crate train my dog, have a command for them to go to their bed, and provide mental stimulation training and feeding programs. I take my dog out for potty breaks at least three times a day. I will commit to showing your animal as much love and care as I do to mine.

About: Hi! My name is Melissa. My husband and I have an English Bulldog, Rooney. I also grew up with Dasher, a sweet Black Lab/boarder collie mix, and two cats, Annie and Ted. My husband’s mom owns a pet care company, so he is no stranger to dogs of all breeds and sizes! He has been helping her care for dogs for most of his life. He grew up with various dogs and two maine coon cats, Guinness and Buster. Our bulldog has us used to extra daily cleaning and vet visits, so we’re no strangers to pets with health concerns. I’m also a pediatric nurse and used to providing extra TLC! We cannot wait to meet and care for your fur babies whatever their need may be! Your pet will always have someone available to them! If I’m at work, my husband works from home and is available for walks or potty breaks. Our dog Rooney loves meeting new dogs and will keep your furry friend entertained! We also have separate floors/rooms if your pet needs their own space too. We are happy to crate if you do or have them sleep on their bed. We want to recreate the environment you have in your home. We have a lovely backyard your pet can sunbathe in.
