About: Hi, I'm Femke. A lifelong animal lover, I’ve been the go-to pet sitter and dog walker for friends, family, and neighbors for almost a decade. What started as a hobby quickly became something I couldn’t imagine not doing. Now, I’m excited to turn my passion for dogs into a full-time career, preparing for a degree in Cynology (dog behavior) next year. With hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, I’ve developed a calm, patient, and intuitive approach. I’ve walked high-energy pups who need structure and stimulation, cared for seniors who require slower walks and medication, and provided companionship to anxious or shy dogs who just need someone gentle and understanding. I’m confident in handling leash reactivity, administering basic medications, and keeping routines consistent to help dogs feel safe and secure. My focus is always on building trust, so your dog feels comfortable with me, and fully enjoys the time we spend together. I’m studying part-time to prepare for my Cynology (dog behavior) degree next year, and have no other major commitments - your dog gets my full attention. My days revolve around walks, drop-ins, and overnight stays, so I’m available on weekdays, weekends, and (most) holidays. Your pet’s safety is my top priority. I take the time to build trust with each dog, starting with a meet-and-greet to understand their routines, triggers, and preferences. During walks, I always use secure leashes and harnesses and stick to safe, familiar routes. I will not do off-leash unless in client-approved spaces and with your explicit consent. When caring for pets in your home, I maintain your routines, respect your space, and provide real-time updates with photos and notes, so you’re always in the loop. My goal is to give you peace of mind and give your dog(s) the care and companionship they deserve.

“Incredibly grateful to Maria for her help watching my girls while I was away for a couple of days — she stayed at my place and sent daily updates/was extremely prompt with answers and overall very helpful/friendly. Definitely will reach back out to her again if I need someone to watch my two cats again !!”

“Sebastian was great to work with! They were super nice, great communicator, and did a thorough job every visit. I will definitely be reaching out to them again for future trips.”

“I asked Bora to take care of my cat for our short trip. My cat is very shy and easily scared of strangers, but she did an amazing job looking after him. She also sent me lots of photos and videos, which really helped me stay updated and feel at ease while I was away. I truly appreciated her care and attention, and I would definitely ask her again the next time I travel.”

About: Cats have had my heart since childhood. I’ve grown up caring for a variety of breeds — raising kittens, navigating the playful teenage phase, and loving senior cats through long, fulfilled lives. That lifelong experience means I understand how different every cat is, and I take pride in giving each one the patience and attention they deserve.

“Remy had a wonderful time with Ivy! She had lots of excursions and romps around the park with Ivy’s other dogs - she had so much fun! Thanks, Ivy! Remy will be back!”

“Diana is absolutely the best. Our pup is on the timid side having some past trauma prior adoption, but this was no issue with Diana’s years of experience. Opie had the best time and even visited dog parks in the city as well as Fort Funston - his favorite place in the world! Communication with her throughout has been quick and responsive. She sent multiple check ins with photos and videos so you never feel out of the loop. Thank you, Diana. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter.”

“Ms Shanice is a very gentle person. My doggie seems she had a great time at her place. Also her doggie is the perfect assistant!! She also gave me updates throughout the day which made us feel at ease leaving Paprika for the first time! Paprika had a fun-filled day of walks and playtime. She didn’t want to leave when we picked her up 😆 I would recommend Mary-Frances to anyone and can’t wait to have her watch our pup again.”

“Celia was amazing!! I will be booking with her again for boarding and the occasional day sit. She provided many photos and updates throughout the day which made me feel so at ease. Highly recommend!”

“Joshua was fantastic with our puppy, Raisin. She took to him straight away, which is saying a lot because she’s usually very cautious around new people and doesn’t love being away from us. It was clear she had a wonderful day and felt completely comfortable in his care. He has a natural way with dogs, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him. If you get the chance to book Joshua as your pet sitter, definitely do it!”

“Naomi is a true dog lover. She was exceptionally flexible with my changing schedule and her location was perfect. Most importantly, she was wonderful with our dog and he was happy to go back! Highly recommend!”

“Auntie Anne is the best! She takes great care of my pup as if it were her own. She is very responsible, communicative, caring and I am so grateful for her care of my dog!”

“Betty has been so incredible with Toby. He adores her and she treats him with such care as if he were her own. Very grateful to Betty — she has helped me adjust to a new job and city by taking care of Toby when I’m at work! Thank you!”

About: I had a dog growing up as a child and have taken care of my friends dogs numerous times. I also volunteer at the SFSPCA and play/walk with all the pups there. I currently have two lovely cats and hope to adopt a dog again once I have a home with outdoor space! I am currently taking a career break from the corporate life to explore my passions and see what may inspire me in the future. Therefore, I have plenty of time to take care of your babies 😊 My cats are strictly indoor only as I feel this is the safest way to take care of cats (especially in a city). I do take my cats out on a leash at the park occasionally for outdoor time. I think it’s important for all cats to get playtime on a daily basis, snuggles (if they like that), and of course their feeding/hygiene routine. I brush my cats every 2 days. I am equipped to adapt to your cats routines.

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was 10. Friends and family have relied on me to check in with, feed , play and snuggle with their pets. I’m currently working part-time so, time is flexible. I will have a plenty of time to hang out with your pets. I’m available for week day and on weekends also. I will set my available time on my schedule. I always try to follow the consistent routine. My own cats have set time for meal and play. I bring the same structure and attentiveness to every pets I care for.

Available for dog-walking, cat/dog drop-in's, and daytime extended stay drop-in's / house-sitting (no overnights). I have worked remotely for over ten years so have a very flexible schedule. Walking your dog or visiting your cat would be a pleasure and a chance for some fresh air and exercise. I do this for supplemental income during my free time and the opportunity to visit different neighborhoods. I am available daytime hours, not overnight (mid-morning til before sunset). I will give your cat or dog as much or little attention in your home as you (or they!) specify. Reliable, trustworthy. Not able to care for your pets at my home.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was ten. I started by walking my aunt's dogs. Friends and Neighbors have also relied on me to walk and pet sit. I own a cute cat but can't own a dog because of the size of my apartment. So I would like the opportunity to play with adorable dogs. I like to wake up early for morning walks before work. I would like to become a dog walker so a four pawed friend can join me. I have years of pet sitting experience. My friends have flown me out to different cities so I can take care of their pets. I currently work full time, but am available each weekend as well as every Friday for dog-walking and dog-sitting. I love being active, and would love to have a dog with me to do it! Whether it’s zoomies in the park or a cozy cuddle session, I tailor care to each pup’s personality and make sure they have the best time ever while I’m with them! Whether your pup loves coming along or prefers a cozy day at home, I’m happy to follow their routine and make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and loved throughout the day. About: I have extensive experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, and breeds. I walk our family’s senior dog daily, taking him through the neighborhood parks and on beach walks at Crissy Field. I also walk my aunt’s golden when I visit and have experience walking a neighbor’s small dog when they were out of town. I have fostering experience, having cared for a two year old German Shepherd for two months. During that time, I took her on daily walks, administered her medicine, and helped her socialize with other dogs. I also fostered a nine week old puppy for two weeks, providing weekly baths with her special shampoo to address her skin condition. My background includes caring for dogs at different life stages and handling special needs, making me a reliable and compassionate caregiver for your furry family members. Pet care is a fundamental part of my daily routine. I walk our senior family dog at least once a day, typically in the morning or midday, and again in the evening or at night. These walks help ensure he gets regular exercise and companionship, fitting seamlessly into my daily schedule. I have a small backyard where pets can enjoy some outdoor time. Additionally, I have a friendly senior golden retriever who can keep your dog company and provide socialization and comfort. My approach to pet care, prioritizes, safety, trust, and creating a calm environment, whether in my home or yours.
“Carlotta was wonderful! Super communicative and easy to coordinate with. Ruby had the best weekend hanging with her and we will definitely be booking again!”

About: I’ve taken care of all dogs, and had an English Cream Golden Retriever named Lucy growing up. I trained her as a puppy and cared for her all the way into senior care. I’m great with all pet ages, don’t mind washing/cleaning your pet, giving long walks, or anything else your pet loves to do. I will always make sure your pet has the best time when they’re with me! Pet care is best for me from Thursdays - Sundays, as well as holidays. I work full time in person, but get half days on Fridays. I make sure to write down everything about the dog. Eating schedule, bathroom schedule, etc. Recently, I just set up a camera for the dog I just dogsat to make sure nothing is going wrong. I clean the dog’s paws to ensure that they aren’t dirtying the home. I also vacuum and wipe down once a day. I would love to meet you and your pet!
“Cali stayed with Daniel for one night. She was comfortable with him immediately (which is rare) and seemed to have a good time! Daniel was easy to communicate with and very fast to respond”

“Zubin is a fantastic dog sitter! Very attentive to my dog. He sent pictures & communication, which was super nice. He was wonderful at administering my dog’s prescribed medication. Zubin is a perfect Rover! 💯”

“Henri had a great weekend at Paulina’s! She came out to greet us and then took the leash and introduced Henri to her home-he was so comfortable with her from the start. Our dog has hardly been away from us in his 7 years and I was a little nervous about leaving him with someone new, but I soon realized I had nothing to worry about. Paulina is a very relaxed person and sent updates and adorable photos each day. It made me happy to see him look so at home with her. Don’t let her lack of a backyard discourage you-Henri was happy and tired when we picked him up. We will call on her whenever we need a dog sitter for when we visit our daughter in SF. Paulina was an absolute lifesaver and we are so happy to have found her!”

About: With over 25 years of dog experience, ranging from extra-large to toy breeds, and 8 years of cat experience, I bring a lifetime of hands-on animal care to my work. I adopted my dog, Sokka, from the SFSPCA in 2020. He was described as “mouthy, jumpy, rambunctious” and transported from Fresno to SF. Today, he's a well-mannered companion who walks calmly on leash and knows over 20 commands, including ultimate recall. I also raised my tuxedo cat, Suki, at 3 months old when I adopted her in 2017. I’m certified in Red Cross Dog & Cat First Aid. I’m known for being patient, observant, loving, and pragmatic, with a strong instinct for reading animal body language. Your pets are in calm, capable hands. I'm currently funemployed and available to house-sit and drop-ins during weekdays, offering dog-walks anytime, and am flexible for any services on weekends. I go on runs early in the morning and do some weight lifting in the afternoon I crate train my dog, have a command for them to go to their bed, and provide mental stimulation training and feeding programs. I take my dog out for potty breaks at least three times a day. I will commit to showing your animal as much love and care as I do to mine.
“So happy Petunia got to stay with Kara and Val again. She always has a great time with them and we look forward each evening to getting little updates on her day. Can’t say enough good things (neither can she if she could talk)”

“Alina was a great last minute option for Ziggy while I headed out of town! Very communicative and flexible around timing, and seems like Ziggy had a genuinely great time. Thank you Alina!”

“Sam always takes the best care of our Benny! He’s a puppy and definitely requires a bit more attention— Sam is super attentive and always makes a point to update us throughout the stay. Very reassuring for a first time pup parent :)”

“Ryan was an awesome dog sitter! Sent daily photos and took great care of my dog while I was on vacation. Ryan is professional, kind, and easy to communicate with. Highly recommended! I will definitely ask him to watch my dog again in the future.”

“Fantastic experience, great communication, and very convenient to work with. Nero was immediately comfortable with her which is unusual, so definitely a huge plus. Overall, definitely will want to work with Kimberly again!”
