About: Hi, I'm Femke. A lifelong animal lover, I’ve been the go-to pet sitter and dog walker for friends, family, and neighbors for almost a decade. What started as a hobby quickly became something I couldn’t imagine not doing. Now, I’m excited to turn my passion for dogs into a full-time career, preparing for a degree in Cynology (dog behavior) next year. With hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, I’ve developed a calm, patient, and intuitive approach. I’ve walked high-energy pups who need structure and stimulation, cared for seniors who require slower walks and medication, and provided companionship to anxious or shy dogs who just need someone gentle and understanding. I’m confident in handling leash reactivity, administering basic medications, and keeping routines consistent to help dogs feel safe and secure. My focus is always on building trust, so your dog feels comfortable with me, and fully enjoys the time we spend together. I’m studying part-time to prepare for my Cynology (dog behavior) degree next year, and have no other major commitments - your dog gets my full attention. My days revolve around walks, drop-ins, and overnight stays, so I’m available on weekdays, weekends, and (most) holidays. Your pet’s safety is my top priority. I take the time to build trust with each dog, starting with a meet-and-greet to understand their routines, triggers, and preferences. During walks, I always use secure leashes and harnesses and stick to safe, familiar routes. I will not do off-leash unless in client-approved spaces and with your explicit consent. When caring for pets in your home, I maintain your routines, respect your space, and provide real-time updates with photos and notes, so you’re always in the loop. My goal is to give you peace of mind and give your dog(s) the care and companionship they deserve.

About: Hi! I’m Sofía, based in Nob Hill and passionate about animals. I grew up with dogs, cats, birds, fish, and even horses — caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life. I work from home, which means your pet is never alone. I’m always here to give them attention, walks, playtime, and company throughout the day. Since arriving in San Francisco, I’ve already cared for friends’ pets and loved every moment of it. I treat every animal with the same warmth and dedication I give my own. I usually go out two or three times a day, so taking dogs along fits perfectly into my routine. I work from home, which means I have plenty of time to give attention, play, and go for walks together. I truly enjoy sharing my days with pets and making them feel part of my family. I absolutely love having dogs in our home — it's something I’ve always done. Whenever friends travel, I am the one they call to look after their pets, and we genuinely enjoy every moment of it. Dogs are welcome on the couch and the bed, they roam freely around the apartment, and they're treated like part of the family. My apartment is completely safe: no balcony, no open windows, no risk of escape. And right on the corner of Leavenworth and Broadway there's a small park, so bathroom breaks and fresh air are just steps away — no planning needed, anytime they need to go. Your pet never has to spend a single minute alone. I also welcome cats! I’ve lived with cats our whole lives and know how to respect their space and independence while still giving them plenty of love and attention.

About: With over 25 years of dog experience, ranging from extra-large to toy breeds, and 8 years of cat experience, I bring a lifetime of hands-on animal care to my work. I adopted my dog, Sokka, from the SFSPCA in 2020. He was described as “mouthy, jumpy, rambunctious” and transported from Fresno to SF. Today, he's a well-mannered companion who walks calmly on leash and knows over 20 commands, including ultimate recall. I also raised my tuxedo cat, Suki, at 3 months old when I adopted her in 2017. I’m certified in Red Cross Dog & Cat First Aid. I’m known for being patient, observant, loving, and pragmatic, with a strong instinct for reading animal body language. Your pets are in calm, capable hands. I'm currently funemployed and available to house-sit and drop-ins during weekdays, offering dog-walks anytime, and am flexible for any services on weekends. I go on runs early in the morning and do some weight lifting in the afternoon I crate train my dog, have a command for them to go to their bed, and provide mental stimulation training and feeding programs. I take my dog out for potty breaks at least three times a day. I will commit to showing your animal as much love and care as I do to mine.
