“Anna treated my 4year old high energy golden retriever like family. She asked details about his play style and any possible triggers before she came to my house to sit for him for a few hours. She took pics and video all throughout. I knew he was in good hands. Will book her again without a shadow of a doubt.”

“I highly recommend Clinton if you need someone to look after your fur-baby. Clinton is reliable, flexible, dependable, communicative and pet-affectionate. Callisto is so happy to see Clinton, when he drops in to give her some mid-day relief and show her a little love. If you’re looking for a pet sitter or walker, you need to contact Clinton.”
“Taylor was fantastic. She did drop one for my dog 2 days in a row. She even came over to meet him ahead of time bc i was a little nervous (he had recently had surgery and was still in come/recovery suit). Would highly recommend and rebook.”

“Natalie was so amazing with our two kitties! :) We are slightly anxious leaving our kitties when we need to go out of town, but she is both meticulous in taking care of their food etc. and very playful when it comes to getting their energy out and playing with them!”

About: I’m a licensed dog walker in the Castro area. I have been a volunteer veterinary technician for 12 years with Muttville Senior Dog Rescue, have worked as a volunteer dog walker with the SF SPCA for 12 years have fostered for 17 years, and have three pups of my own. In short, dogs are a huge part of my life, and I look forward to caring for your pet as though they were my own. I have experience working with dogs of all sizes, large and small, and walking multiple members of your furry family as a group. Senior dogs and rescues have been my passion, and I understand their unique needs and the patience and time required to build confidence and security with these special pups. Volunteering, fostering, and dog walking are my primary day to day activities, so I have a flexible schedule, and am usually available for last minute bookings. I take pride and care in ensuring that both you and your dogs have the best experience. That means being on time, responsive, and communicative, with regular updates and photos form our walks. I typically like to set up introductory meetings with all my clients to ensure a good fit, and get to know your pup.
About: I rescued a puppy in 2010, trained him, walked him daily, and loved him unconditionally through his energetic puppy phase, teen angst (not actually because he was always happy), adulthood, and silver sunset senior days. He lived a happy and healthy 14 years, and now I am joining Rover to continue my care for dogs until I feel ready to adopt a new puppy. I have boarded several family and friend's dogs in the past since they know I am responsible, active, and trustworthy! I work from home (fully remote) so would never leave your pet during the workday to commute to an office. I have a very flexible schedule so I can easily take your pet out to go to the bathroom and walk whenever. I live within walking distance of the Panhandle and Golden Gate Park. I also have a fenced backyard, so I have access to plenty of places to walk dogs. I live on the garden level of a Victorian home, so it is very easy for me to take the dog outside. I would let your dog roam freely around my 2 bedroom unit, but don't allow dogs on the couch or bed.
About: I have had pets my entire life since I was a child and I absolutely adore them! I consider myself a highly sensitive person and that helps me stay attuned both to humans and pets! I have a flexible work from home job and because of that pet sitting fits smoothly with my daily and weekly routine. I can adjust as needed! I feed them on time, play with them during play hours and make sure that they feel safe and take care of. I would make sure to read the pet body language and make sure to give them enough space when they’re shy or not ready to interact!
About: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life! Love being around dogs, whether it be playing and running or just chilling on the couch. Recently moved to a place where I can’t have pets, so caring for other people’s fur babies is the next best thing! I work a full time desk job, so I have plenty of energy to play, run around, and be active with dogs throughout the day. They give me an excuse to get away from my desk! Years and years of caring for dogs has given me the experience of identifying the comfort level of animals. I am honest and trustworty. I want to keep my regulars and want them to trust that I will care for their precious animals.
“Denise was absolutely amazing! She was incredibly communicative throughout her time caring for our sweet fur babies, sending us lovely updates and pictures that truly put our minds at ease. It was clear how much care and attention she gave to them, and we came home to happy and well-loved kitties. We couldn’t have asked for a better catsitter and are so grateful for her dedication. Highly recommend Denise to anyone looking for someone who will treat their pets like their own!”

About: Hi, I'm Ko! I have a deep love for animals that goes back as far as I can remember. I've spent 10+ years caring for dogs and building a genuine understanding of what animals need to feel safe, comfortable, and happy. I believe a pet's emotional and mental wellbeing matters just as much as the physical basics. My goal is always for your pet to feel understood and at ease, whether that's a dog who needs a long run or a cat who just needs a calm, respectful presence in their space. Your pet is family. I make sure to treat them that way. I have a flexible schedule and am happy to adapt to whatever routine works best for your pet. With structured routines, frequent updates, and fun weekend adventures, your pet's well-being and happiness are my top priorities. I work remotely part-time, so I have ample time to exercise, feed, and love on your pet! I have no problem with pets that may need more attention and keeping my time outside of the home brief (1-3 hrs.) When caring for pets in their own home, I prioritize keeping their world as familiar and comfortable as possible. One of the primary ways I ensure your animals feel safe is by closely adhering to their routines so I follow feeding, medication, and exercise schedules closely and treat any deviations as the exception, not the norm. Before settling in, I do a quiet walkthrough to check for anything that could pose a risk—unsecured doors, open windows, potential hazards—so your pet's environment is as safe as it is comfortable. From there, I let the pet lead. Some warm up quickly, some take time, and I'm equally comfortable with both. Throughout every visit, I keep you in the loop with regular updates and photos. You should never have to wonder how your pet is doing.
“Jennifer did an awesome job checking in with my dog this past week made sure to keep me updated with messages and photos, which gave me total peace of mind. Rocco was well-fed, exercised, and clearly in great hands the whole time.”

“Caitlin is incredible! She was very professional, easy to work with, and clearly passionate about working with animals. I recommend her services to anyone seeking a loving caretaker for their pets. :)”

“Martha did an incredible job being a dog chaperone for Charlie during our civil marriage ceremony in SF City Hall! We were just doing the quick ceremony then photos for a couple of hours ahead of our bigger international wedding later, but we really wanted Charlie to be involved while not being a distraction to us, the photographer, the officiant, or the few guests we had coming from across the country. Martha did an amazing job keeping Charlie entertained, and she was great at reading the room and knowing when to be close by with Charlie or step away a bit if Charlie seemed to be getting antsy or bored. I didn’t give her any instructions really (definitely could’ve planned better on my part!) yet the whole experience felt smooth because Martha was very attentive to both Charlie’s needs and moods and the overall situation. While Charlie is a huge people person, he can definitely get grumpy and bored being in the same place doing nothing, but Martha kept him in such a good mood that he was smiling and cooperative any time we needed him for pictures. She also took some amazing solo shots of Charlie, which we will treasure forever!”

About: Ive taken care of dogs for the past year professionally, but have experience with (large) dogs previously in my personal life. I have lots of love for all types of dogs big and small! Besides walking and feeding, I’ve dealt with sick dogs, senior dogs that require that extra special attention, as well as anxious pups! I’m currently in school, but have a manageable and shifty schedule ready to care for these sweet fur babies! Mornings are a bit tricky but afternoons/evenings are always bendable! I have three cats, a gecko and have only cared for bunnies in my home! I have experience with crates and daily home drop ins for both cats and dogs which included walking, hygiene check ups, feeding and play time/excercise !
About: I got my first dog when I was 8, so I been taking care of dogs for 14 years. I personally have had two Labrador Retrievers and a Maltipoo. I currently work part time, and would love to spend my free time with dogs. I live and work in the city, and I am available everyday Monday through Friday. I will be using a reliable harness/collar and leash to walk your dog(s). As well as maintaining a healthy leash amount to allow exploration. I will adhere to the needs of you and your dog.
“I will absolutely book Jocelyn again. She is a great communicator and my Golden retriever loved her. And she took lots of pics for me to obsess over after the visit. Thank you Jocelyn!”

Highly recommend Natalie for kitty-sitting. She is thorough, attentive, and somehow won over my ultra-shy kitty! I received updates and tons of pictures of Natalie cleaning litter, refilling food and water, and playing with the kitties. She also went above and beyond to accommodate a key handoff while I was out of town. Thank you Natalie!!

Cameron has done drop in visits for my 2 cats twice now and it’s been very good. My cats both like her which is not always the case for them. She gives updates and always accommodates any requests I have. She has also brought in packages for me and cleans around the litter box and food bowls which is nice. I’d definitely recommend Cameron and book again

Beiqi took great care of Gouda and Cheshire while we were away. It was clear they were well looked after, and we really appreciated the regular photo updates—they gave us real peace of mind. We’d be happy to have Beiqi look after them again and would definitely recommend them to others.

David has watched our cats couple of times now - most recently this past Friday, July 10th—and we cannot recommend him highly enough. He takes incredible care of our cats, ensuring they are happy, comfortable, and well-attended to every single visit. Beyond being a fantastic pet sitter, David is exceptionally observant and proactive with home care. During a previous visit, he noticed a few fruit flies starting to appear in the kitchen and, on his own initiative, set up an apple cider vinegar trap. Because of his quick thinking, the issue was caught early and completely managed by the time we got home. It is rare to find a sitter who is equally dedicated to the well-being of your pets and the maintenance of your home. We always return to very happy cats and a perfectly kept house. If you are looking for someone responsible, proactive, and genuinely caring, hire David!
Kelly was an amazing watcher for Tyson during his time. I have a very fussy Chihuahua and only certain people and women with a good energy will allow him to thrive & give him the right space. He is also a little bit of an elderly Chihuahua so the special care she gave when he couldn’t see and his vitamins and food, as well as creating comfortable accommodations for him like letting him sleep in the bed was super helpful. She’s super responsible and communicative and quick to respond when I needed someone urgent! Tyson loves Kelli!!
