“Michelle is a treasurer. I am so glad I found her. She looked after my elderly dog Asher and my cat Levi for a week while I was away. I felt very assured that they were both well taken care of. I highly recommend Michelle and I certainly will use her again!”

“Jennifer did an awesome job checking in with my dog this past week made sure to keep me updated with messages and photos, which gave me total peace of mind. Rocco was well-fed, exercised, and clearly in great hands the whole time.”

“Christina was a great cat sitter for Slim Charles, sending detailed updates on her visits with him, spending time to keep him company while I was away, and also sending great pictures. I definitely intend to book Christina again the next time I’m in need of a pet sitter!”

“Laura was a great cat sitter. She shared great updates and pics each day. She asked lots of questions and was very responsive to any messages that I would send. Would be happy to have her cat sit again!”
“Anna cared for my two cats as attentively as I do. She has a deep understanding of how cats operate. She built a great rapport with them, which was especially meaningful for my more anxious cat who doesn’t like to be away from me. I’m super grateful.”

About: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life! Love being around dogs, whether it be playing and running or just chilling on the couch. Recently moved to a place where I can’t have pets, so caring for other people’s fur babies is the next best thing! I work a full time desk job, so I have plenty of energy to play, run around, and be active with dogs throughout the day. They give me an excuse to get away from my desk! Years and years of caring for dogs has given me the experience of identifying the comfort level of animals. I am honest and trustworty. I want to keep my regulars and want them to trust that I will care for their precious animals.
“Maryn was fantastic! Our cat warmed up quickly and she was very on time and did everything we needed. We felt very comfortable leaving our fur baby in her care!”

“Caitlin is incredible! She was very professional, easy to work with, and clearly passionate about working with animals. I recommend her services to anyone seeking a loving caretaker for their pets. :)”

About: I’ve taken care of our family dogs since I was a young kid, including walking, feeding, bathing, playing, etc. I love spending quality time with our furry friends and enjoy exploring the side streets of SF while doing so. I’ve done a good amount of puppy training for all common commands for my family’s dog who is now 5! I work a full time job but am looking for dog care opportunities in the evenings or weekends where I’d love to go on walks or check up on them. I’m also open to having them in our house overnight. I live in a single family home with a fenced in yard where the dog can roam the lawn and sniff freely and safely from any predators without escaping.
“Katheryn was incredible with our pups! I could totally tell they had the best time with her. They can’t wait to play with her again! I’d recommend Katheryn to anyone.”

About: My whole life, I’ve been told I have a gift with dogs. I have cared for a wide variety of breeds, I’ve trained puppies, and I’ve looked after senior dogs with special needs. I even raised and trained my parents’ dogs in Kansas City (a dachshund and a cavalier King Charles spaniel). I deeply love animals, I believe they deserve to be treated with love and respect, and I promise I will cherish your little one(s) like they’re my own family. I have just relocated to San Francisco, having moved from Europe, and I want to take time finding a full-time role in my field. This means I am available all day on weekdays! While I live in a dog-friendly apartment and I’m happy to occasionally have dogs in my home, I am working with a strict landlord enforcing a no-pet policy. This means I cannot host your little one(s) overnight or provide boarding services. I can, however, host your little one for doggy-day care or, *better yet, I can hang out with them in your home.

“Caren has been such a joy to work with! She is so kind and caring and leaves the best updates to make me incredibly confident that my furry ones are happy and healthy. I had some last-minute scheduling issues and she jumped in to help - I could not be more grateful!”
About: Hi there! Thank you for considering me to care for your pup. Whether it’s overnight boarding, drop-ins or a daily walk, I’m happy to provide attention and care for them as if they are my own! I’ve been lucky to have dogs in my life since I was 11. I cared for my first pup from puppyhood through her senior life including managing her long-term heart disease. Because of that, I am very comfortable with caring for senior or special needs dogs and administering different types of medication as needed. I also have experience in training puppies—including a highly energetic Pomsky! I enjoy helping young dogs learn good habits in a positive way and can support as needed. In 2021, I adopted Shota from a rescue in Korea and he has been my constant companion since! He is a super mellow boy that naps most of the day, but also loves playing with toys and enjoys the company of other dogs. When I first adopted him, he was quite skittish and anxious (and can still be anxious to this day), which has given me a lot of experience in caring for other shy or anxious pups as well. Shota and I go on long daily walks in our neighborhood, including trips to Duboce Dog Park where we have made many friends! We would love to invite your pup into our cozy home and join us on our daily adventures. 😊 I work from home on Mondays and Fridays, and go into the office 2-3 times a week on T/W/TH. I can walk your dog 2-3 times a day depending when I am in office, but have ample time on the weekends and Mondays and Fridays to walk and play with them! My availability is based on my travel schedule which will always be updated on my calendar! While drop off and pick up times are flexible, I may request specific times to block out my meeting schedule accordingly. I live in a dog-friendly apartment with my one fur baby, Shota, who loves other dogs and will keep your pup company! Our apartment is at the back of the building where there is minimal street noise. The neighborhood is very safe and dog-friendly where we frequently interact with other dog owners walking their pups. Due to my limited apartment space, I will only board one pet at a time to ensure everyone is safe, happy and comfortable.
About: In 2010 my heart dog Dexter came into my world and over the next 13 years we would take on his friends for care and walking. After he passed I made sure to keep myself busy with dog walking and moving to San Francisco this year I want to continue that part of my life here. Can’t wait to meet your dog! I’m a very active person who loves exploring San Francisco and could easily fit a pup into my hobby! I work from home freelance so schedule is flexible. I’m currently in a pet-free building but have extensive experience in others homes. I’m clean, quiet, and respectful. I do my best to assure the dog feels excited and not anxious about a new friend in their environment.
“Lauren was phenomenal to work with Kevin loved her! She was very communicative and thorough. Definitely will be having her check on my Kevin in the future!”

“Kimberly is truly exceptional! From the moment we connected, her communication has been clear, prompt, and professional. She is incredibly reliable and goes above and beyond to make sure our pup, Baci, is well cared for and happy. Baci absolutely adores her — it’s clear she has a natural way with dogs and brings a calm, confident energy to every walk. As a dog owner, it’s such a relief to know my pup is in such capable and caring hands. I can’t recommend Kimberly highly enough!”

About: I’m a true pet lover! 🐈⬛🐕 I had a cat when I was little and have been in love with them ever since. During the pandemic, I began providing cat and dog sitting for friends and later joined Rover. Due to change of my work schedule, I now focus exclusively on caring for cats. Your cat's comfort, routine, and happiness are always my top priorities ❤️ I respect each cat’s personality and never force them to do anything they don’t want to. I let them warm up at their own pace. I keep the space clean and cozy by refreshing water, cleaning food bowls, and scooping litter every day😀 I even have a clean litter box and a water fountain ready to make them feel right at home. My apartment is completely cat safe, no worries about open windows or sneaky escapes, and your cat is welcome on all furnitures and bed. 🥰 Please make sure your kitty is free of ringworm and fleas 🙏 and let me know if they need any special care or routines. I’m happy to follow whatever keeps them happy and comfortable. ❤️I work remotely from home and provide full-time, attentive care with a flexible schedule to cater to your dog's needs. Whether your dog enjoys endless playtime or prefers to relax, I'm here to make them feel at home! ❤️ I live in a super pet-friendly apartment. I accommodate small to medium dogs in a cozy, welcoming space with plenty of time for play and cuddles!
Castro-Upper Market pet parents share their Rover experiences
Colette was an absolute sweetheart with my fur babies. Good communication, regular updates, spent the full 30 minutes with them even though they were shy at first, and even sent updates on a mushroom grow kit I left, above and beyond the job description. 10/10 would Rove again!

Anna was a wonderful sitter to our elderly cat. She is such a bright, cheerful presence and cares so deeply for animals, you can tell upon meeting her. Her knowledge and gentleness came through in every report on our cat’s drop in visits, and the pictures and videos she sent were so great. We came home to a beautifully clean home and happy, healthy kitty. You can’t find a better sitter out there!
I had an excellent experience with Diana and would highly recommend her! She cared for my two cats for three weeks and went above and beyond to ensure they were comfortable and well cared for. She consistently spent extra time with them so they wouldn’t feel lonely, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. She was also very accommodating and responsive when last-minute health issues came up. I truly appreciated her attentiveness and reliability and would gladly book her again.
