About: Hi there! I've been a pet owner my entire life. I grew up with cats and dogs of all breeds and I've been caring for pets as long as I can remember. Now, for the first time in my life, I don't have any pets, and honestly, I miss having them around - which is exactly why I'm excited to care for yours! I was active in 4-H and trained Belgian Sheepdogs in positive-reinforcement based obedience. I've owned dogs as small as a Japanese Chin and as big as a Newfoundland, so I understand different dog temperaments and energy levels. I've also been watching friends' and neighbors' pets for several years, including high-anxiety cats, senior dogs, and recent rescues - helping them to feel calm and secure while away from their family. I work from home full-time, so your pet will never be left alone for long. For play time, potty break, and snuggles, I'll be there. I can easily walk dogs multiple times a day and will be around most of the day to keep any dog or cat visiting me company. Sometimes I may pop out for a gym session or grocery run, but that's about it. I mostly just miss having a pet so I'll be so happy to be around yours! I have no pets of my own currently. I live in a secure, quiet apartment. Depending on pet needs and temperament, they can have the run of the apartment or be limited to the main living room (which is where I work). My apartment has no yard but I'm in a great neighborhood for walks and I make sure doggies get plenty of fresh air. Since it is an apartment, if your dog is extremely active and boisterous, they may be happier boarding somewhere with more room to run.

During their stay I will take your dog between my homes in sf and napa, where they will hang out as I tend to housekeeping. Your dog will go on at least two daily walks with me and my dog, Sparky. Sometimes we go on outings to the beach or park (where your dog will always be on a leash). I have a fenced yard at both houses. I take dogs for multiple walks per day in the neighborhood or at the park. Your dogs can sleep on the furniture or with us in bed if they enjoy a good cuddle

About: Growing up, my family had 3 cats and 2 dogs. I’ve always been an animal lover. When I was 21, I was in college in New Orleans and I found a stray cat living under my house. When it was time to move, I took her with me and took care of her for years before giving her to my family so she could stay in New Orleans and live with other pets. We now have a husky and have been enjoying taking care of other dogs to scratch the itch of having two My schedule is currently 3 days in the office with two days working from home. Other than Monday, those two days are flexible and I would accommodate your pet given the schedule. The first thing I do in the morning when taking care of a pet is attend to their needs, i.e. walk, feed etc. that is also the last thing I will do before heading to bed. While working from home I am able to take the dog out during the day to walk, play, etc.

I work from home doing freelance work, so my schedule is pretty flexible and I’m able to plan my day around pet care, whether that’s walks, drop-ins, or staying with them for longer periods. I’m available for boarding, house sitting, and walks, and I like keeping a consistent routine so pets feel comfortable and not rushed. I live in an apartment right next to Washington Square Park and Coit Tower, so it’s really easy to get dogs out for nice long walks and some additional short walks to get some fresh air! I also have a 3-year-old cat who’s used to being around dogs. I keep my place clean and calm, and I pay attention to how each pet is feeling so they’re comfortable. I’m also happy to follow any routines or instructions so things feel familiar for them.

“Kara & Val were absolutely wonderful with our high-maintenance Frenchie! They handled frequent meals, four different medications, and pet messes with ease. Their communication was stellar, and we were actually able to relax on our trip. Plus, our pup enjoyed sunbathing on their patio and snoozing in their laps. “Brianna and Jerry did a great job taking care of Domingo who is a 1 and 1/2-year-old mix of labrador and Shepherd, and he is high energy. They sent videos and photos everyday and ask me questions about Domingo's diet. They also helped with training him not to pull on the leash. They both love dogs and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.”
“We had a great experience boarding our pup with Go. He is very quick to respond, communicates clearly and is very pleasant and friendly. We had a meet and greet twice before we actually left my pup with Go and his wife. They were kind to Hira, asked good questions, clearly went through my care instructions. We felt comfortable boarding for almost 3 weeks. Throughout the stay Go sent pictures, and kept us informed. They took Hira to the park every day and she seemed very happy and comfortable with them. “Yasmim and Kaline went above and beyond to make sure that Jack felt comfortable and secure while I visited my family. Jack has bad separation anxiety, and I really appreciated their efforts. They kept me well informed with frequent messages, photos, and videos, and I could see that Jack was chilling and relaxed. They even captured his goofy smile! Jack takes several medications, and they dosed him on time and without complaint from him. I highly recommend them!”
About: Been around animals my whole life. Mostly dogs, some cats, and I was even living with a ferret for years in Denver as well! The majority of the time I have cared for border collies, so I know how to take care of high energy dogs. Panhandle park is only one block away from where I live, so there and Golden Park are my go-to areas for great walks. Our house has plenty of space with a large patio area and small potty area on side. I can spend all my time with your pet! No work at the moment. But will start back up after the holidays. So I will be part time next year, doing both pets and part time job. House has 3 floors, plenty of space, and has a nice outdoor patio and potty area by side of the building. Fur babies are allowed of furniture ( but only some beds).
“Henri had a great weekend at Paulina’s! She came out to greet us and then took the leash and introduced Henri to her home-he was so comfortable with her from the start. Our dog has hardly been away from us in his 7 years and I was a little nervous about leaving him with someone new, but I soon realized I had nothing to worry about. Paulina is a very relaxed person and sent updates and adorable photos each day. It made me happy to see him look so at home with her. Don’t let her lack of a backyard discourage you-Henri was happy and tired when we picked him up. We will call on her whenever we need a dog sitter for when we visit our daughter in SF. Paulina was an absolute lifesaver and we are so happy to have found her!”
“Absolutely wonderful! Julia was able to take Roger at the last minute and I felt completely at ease knowing he was in such good hands. She took him on several fun adventures and made sure he got plenty of exercise, attention, and love. Roger came home happy and tired, the best sign of a great stay!
