She calmed my nerves of leaving my dog to a sitter. Kai enjoy his stay at her place and had a blast playing with Rina. Victoria sent periodical photos and videos to me to give me status update. She also respected my boundary not to reach me at a certain time because I was running a half marathon during those hours. I’m really happy that Kai bonded well with Victoria and Rina. About: My senior dog of 13 years passed away in June 2021, so I am looking for some new dog friends to play with, care for, and cuddle! I love to hike and play at the beach if your dog needs exercise and adventure. I go to Crissy Field most mornings, and I would be happy to bring your dog along. I only use positive reinforcement. I have 25 years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes and ages. I board dogs 50lbs and under. I work full-time M-F, mostly from home. My weekends are open and available hours are flexible. I walk daily, and would love to have your dog come along. Your dog will have full access to my apartment and a shared, fenced yard (my neighbor’s dog is sometimes in the yard too.) About: I’ve taken care of both dogs and cats throughout my life. Recently, I started taking care of some of my friend’s pets and have gained valuable experience through them. I have taken care of cats of all sizes and energy levels, and have taken care of small-medium dogs. I’m currently working a full-time job from 7-4, but can swing before or after work, and during lunch time for an hour to take care of your pet! I am free weeknights after work, as well as on weekends. I can do drop-in care every 4 hours on weekdays, can stay overnight if needed, and/or can stay all day on the weekends. I do not have pets of my own, and live in a studio apartment so if your pet will be at my home, you will not need to worry about another pet being there. I have some plants that can be put away in a safe place if needed. If I will be staying at your home or doing drop-in care, I will make sure to treat it with respect and leave it how it was when I arrived.

About: Recently moved to SF and looking to explore with your pet! I love to walk through the neighborhood and run. I’ve had pets my whole life (dogs & cats) and love nothing more than going for a long walk or sitting outside with a dog. I grew up with a German shepherd, German shepherd mix and doodle (all pictured). We now have a husky and have been enjoying taking care of other dogs to scratch the itch of having two My schedule is currently 3 days in the office with two days working from home. Other than Monday, those two days are flexible and I would accommodate your pet given the schedule. The first thing I do in the morning when taking care of a pet is attend to their needs, i.e. walk, feed etc. that is also the last thing I will do before heading to bed. While working from home I am able to take the dog out during the day to walk, play, etc.

We were nervous as it was our first time leaving her, but she warmed up to Kara, Val and their adorable daughter Mae quite quickly! “Henri had a great weekend at Paulina’s! She came out to greet us and then took the leash and introduced Henri to her home-he was so comfortable with her from the start. Our dog has hardly been away from us in his 7 years and I was a little nervous about leaving him with someone new, but I soon realized I had nothing to worry about. Paulina is a very relaxed person and sent updates and adorable photos each day. It made me happy to see him look so at home with her. Don’t let her lack of a backyard discourage you-Henri was happy and tired when we picked him up. We will call on her whenever we need a dog sitter for when we visit our daughter in SF. Paulina was an absolute lifesaver and we are so happy to have found her!”

She also respected my boundary not to reach me at a certain time because I was running a half marathon during those hours. I’m really happy that Kai bonded well with Victoria and Rina. About: I’ve been caring for dogs since 2015, starting while I was in school and continuing over the years by helping friends and their pets with everything from daily walks to longer stays. A big part of my experience comes from caring for my own two dogs. One is very anxious and requires a calm, patient approach to build trust, and the other has occasional seizures and takes medication three times a day. Because of this, I’m very comfortable administering medication, following structured routines, and staying attentive to any changes in behavior. I’m especially mindful with sensitive or nervous dogs, and I take the time to make them feel safe at their own pace. I live near several parks and also have access to a private dog park in my building, so your dog will have safe, comfortable options for outdoor time. I treat every dog as if they were my own, making sure they feel secure, relaxed, and cared for while you’re away. I’m reliable, communicative, and always happy to send updates so you can feel at ease. I work from home, so I’m able to give dogs plenty of attention throughout the day. I take my own dogs out at least 4 times daily, plus one longer walk, and I’d include your dog in that same routine. Because I’m home most of the time, your dog won’t be left alone for long periods and will get consistent care, playtime, and companionship. I provide a calm, safe, and structured environment tailored to each dog’s needs. I’m experienced with anxious dogs and comfortable administering medication and following specific routines. At home, I ensure slow, supervised introductions with my dogs and offer access to nearby parks and a private dog park in my building. Dogs are never left alone for long and get regular walks, attention, and rest. In a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely to maintain your dog’s routine and provide regular updates.
