I've spent 10+ years caring for dogs and building a genuine understanding of what animals need to feel safe, comfortable, and happy. I believe a pet's emotional and mental wellbeing matters just as much as the physical basics. Before settling in, I do a quiet walkthrough to check for anything that could pose a risk—unsecured doors, open windows, potential hazards—so your pet's environment is as safe as it is comfortable. From there, I let the pet lead. Some warm up quickly, some take time, and I'm equally comfortable with both. Throughout every visit, I keep you in the loop with regular updates and photos. You should never have to wonder how your pet is doing.

About: I’m a 42-year-old gay dog lover who recently said goodbye to my own pup after 13 incredible years together. Caring for my dog has always been one of the best parts of my life, and I genuinely love getting to know every breed, quirk, zoomie level, and cuddle style out there. Pet care has been part of my daily routine for years. I recently lost my dog after 13 wonderful years together, and before that we took at least three walks a day — everything from quick neighborhood strolls to longer adventures exploring different parts of San Francisco together. I genuinely miss having a little shadow by my side, so caring for and walking dogs still feels like a natural and meaningful part of my everyday life. About: Recently moved to SF and looking to explore with your pet! I love to walk through the neighborhood and run. I’ve had pets my whole life (dogs & cats) and love nothing more than going for a long walk or sitting outside with a dog. I grew up with a German shepherd, German shepherd mix and doodle (all pictured). We now have a husky and have been enjoying taking care of other dogs to scratch the itch of having two My schedule is currently 3 days in the office with two days working from home. Other than Monday, those two days are flexible and I would accommodate your pet given the schedule. The first thing I do in the morning when taking care of a pet is attend to their needs, i.e. walk, feed etc. that is also the last thing I will do before heading to bed. While working from home I am able to take the dog out during the day to walk, play, etc.

About: I’ve grown up around animals, I have a dog at my home in San Francisco that I frequently take care of. Additionally, I cat sit for my neighbors multiple times throughout high school and college whenever needed. I am very flexible with times and will make sure your pet is thoroughly cared for! About: I rescued a puppy in 2010, trained him, walked him daily, and loved him unconditionally through his energetic puppy phase, teen angst (not actually because he was always happy), adulthood, and silver sunset senior days. He lived a happy and healthy 14 years, and now I am joining Rover to continue my care for dogs until I feel ready to adopt a new puppy. I have boarded several family and friend's dogs in the past since they know I am responsible, active, and trustworthy! I work from home (fully remote) so would never leave your pet during the workday to commute to an office. I have a very flexible schedule so I can easily take your pet out to go to the bathroom and walk whenever. I live within walking distance of the Panhandle and Golden Gate Park. I also have a fenced backyard, so I have access to plenty of places to walk dogs. I live on the garden level of a Victorian home, so it is very easy for me to take the dog outside. I would let your dog roam freely around my 2 bedroom unit, but don't allow dogs on the couch or bed.

About: I have had pets my entire life since I was a child and I absolutely adore them! I consider myself a highly sensitive person and that helps me stay attuned both to humans and pets! I have a flexible work from home job and because of that pet sitting fits smoothly with my daily and weekly routine. I can adjust as needed! I feed them on time, play with them during play hours and make sure that they feel safe and take care of. Because I’m home most of the time, your dog won’t be left alone for long periods and will get consistent care, playtime, and companionship. I provide a calm, safe, and structured environment tailored to each dog’s needs. I’m experienced with anxious dogs and comfortable administering medication and following specific routines. At home, I ensure slow, supervised introductions with my dogs and offer access to nearby parks and a private dog park in my building. Dogs are never left alone for long and get regular walks, attention, and rest. In a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely to maintain your dog’s routine and provide regular updates.
