I am currently job hunting so I have flexibility 7 days a week for in house sitting and mid-day and morning walks! I often go on walks myself daily, so bringing a dog along with me is a treat!

Back in NY, I was the primary caretaker of my family’s yorkie and cockapoo. Especially juggling two dogs, it’s especially important to keep a home tidy. I do so by daily washing of pet bowls, wiping paws and other dirt-prone areas, and immediately sweeping/cleaning any fur that collects. Discarding poop bags properly after walks is also super important.

I would like to know of course the dog’s age, size, and typical activity. If a dog is not very active I can find ways to still keep them busy and moving. My senior dogs back home were not the most active but I like keeping them engaged and entertained. But I love high energy dogs, as well! Happy to go on longs walks and tire then out!

I love already going on long walks everyday throughout Noe Valley, the Castro, and the mission so I know both neighborhoods very well and can take a dog on a long walk with lots of hills. I love Noe Valley parks where other dogs are often playing together. I love playing fetch and giving the dogs extra cuddles!

New grad who misses her dogs in NY

I’ve taken care of my families dogs since the age of 6. I grew up with 2 cats and 2 dogs and absolutely adore taking care of furry friends. I recently moved to California from NY and miss my two dogs back there dearly. I dog walk and housesit for dogs in San Francisco over the past few years. I have expertise in taking care of senior dogs since my family dogs lived to 14 and 17 years old. I love taking dogs for walks and am comfortable carrying/lifting dogs of all sizes. I grew up with two cats as well in addition to my two dogs. So, I’m very comfortable caring for both cats and dogs at the same time. In San Francisco, I regularly cat sit for friends and through rover.

Laura was amazing! She kept me updated with pictures and videos throughout our trip, which gave me so much peace of mind—especially since I’m a very anxious pet owner. She was always quick to respond and made the entire experience stress-free. I’m so thankful for her and can’t wait to work with her again!
I went out of town for a few weeks and Laura was incredible! She sent me so many photos of my cat Milkyway and was very communicative. I highly recommend!
