As both a cat owner and a regular pet sitter, I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I have over three years of experience caring for my own cat and frequently dog/cat sit for friends, caring for pets of different ages. I'm comfortable administering oral medications, following detailed care instructions, cleaning litter boxes, maintaining feeding schedules, and providing plenty of playtime and affection. I'm also happy to transport pets to veterinary appointments if needed. Amina is an incredibly caring and compassionate person with extensive experience caring for pets. She has such a gentle nature and is a true animal lover. She goes above and beyond to make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. In fact, she's such a champion of celebrating animals that I've even heard she throws amazing birthday parties for cats! From everything I've seen and heard through her words and actions, I have no doubt she'll provide exceptional care and treat your pet as if it were her own.
Amina took care of my senior cat Taylor for a long weekend and I definitely recommend her to look after your pets. She was kind enough to meet before the stay and Taylor was comfortable with her presence and was out and about the whole weekend. Amina took daily photos and kept my apartment clean for my arrival. Book her if you need someone to look after your apartment and beloved pets!
Thank you to Amina for adhering to my dog’s strict health conditions. She constantly reassured me that my dog was ok the entire time I was gone and also offered to take him to the vet if any emergency arose. She kept me updated the entire time I was away with lots of pictures. She is professional, friendly, and clearly well-experienced in taking care of your pet as if they were her own. Amina is an extremely responsible, caring, and attentive pet owner. I have been over to her house a numerous amount of times and every time she had her cat she was extremely doting. because of my adhd I have a tendency to hyper focus on random things within my surrounding environment and every time I saw her cats bowl filled with food. She would also buy her many toys as well as a giant cat tree for her to sleep on (Although the cat almost never used it). She always appeared to be at a healthy weight and I heard a good amount of times about different vet appointments Amina would take her cat to. As a person she is extremely empathetic and organized, so there is no doubt in my mind for a singular millisecond that Amina would not do any/everything she possibly could for her pet, in addition to being extraordinarily loving. She also works from home as of now, so she would have ample time to spend with and keep an eye on her pet.

Schedule
I work remotely with a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide attentive care throughout the day. I'm available for drop-in visits, overnight stays, extended house sitting, and weekend or holiday bookings. I make it a priority to follow your pet's routine as closely as possible, ensuring they receive consistent care, companionship, and plenty of attention while you're away. Please note: For drop-in visits, I primarily serve clients in San Francisco and the East Bay. For house sitting, however, I’m often happy to travel throughout the greater Bay Area—whether that’s Marin, San Francisco, the East Bay, or San Jose. I’m flexible with location and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure your pets are comfortable, cared for, and have everything they need while you’re away.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I carefully follow all care instructions, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise, and any special routines. I enjoy keeping pets engaged with toys, treats (when approved by you), enrichment activities, and lots of affection. I'm respectful of your home, keep a clean environment, and provide regular photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your pet is in caring, reliable hands. If any concerns arise, I'll communicate with you promptly and won't hesitate to contact your veterinarian if needed. For boarding clients please note that I only take on one pet per time and I do not have any personal pets residing with me as is.
A typical day
Every pet is different, so I tailor the day to their routine! We'll go on walks, play with their favorite toys, enjoy plenty of cuddle time (if they want it!), and make sure they get lots of mental enrichment and attention. For cats, I love interactive play, brushing, and creating a calm, comfortable environment. My goal is to keep your pet happy, active, and feeling at home while you're away.
