About: Hi! I’m May. I’m a responsible just-graduated medical student who loves dogs! I just moved back to the Bay Area from NC. I had a dog for nearly 15 years and miss having a furry friend around. Have also been a go-to cat sitter for multiple friends! I am very communicative and make sure to give at least daily updates while sitting. I’m a busy resident, but would love to take care of your dog on the weekends I’m free. 😊 I usually am working every other weekend, so I would not be the best fit for recurring visits. No pets, children, or other people will be at my home. Will take your dog on a nice long walk!! and they will probably be fawned over by my friends for extra attention

One of the primary ways I ensure your animals feel safe is by closely adhering to their routines so I follow feeding, medication, and exercise schedules closely and treat any deviations as the exception, not the norm. Before settling in, I do a quiet walkthrough to check for anything that could pose a risk—unsecured doors, open windows, potential hazards—so your pet's environment is as safe as it is comfortable. From there, I let the pet lead. Some warm up quickly, some take time, and I'm equally comfortable with both. Throughout every visit, I keep you in the loop with regular updates and photos. You should never have to wonder how your pet is doing.

I'm dependable, detail-oriented, and understand how important it is to follow each pet's routine so they feel comfortable while you're away. I've cared for pets belonging to neighbors, friends, and colleagues, and I'm comfortable with dogs of different sizes and energy levels. I'm also comfortable administering oral medications, reinforcing basic training routines, and providing extra patience and attention to senior pets or those who may be a little shy or anxious. I have a very flexible job where I choose my shifts so there will be plenty of time to take care of your dogs! I always do my best to be punctual and communicate to the clients. When caring for pets in a client's home, I make every effort to keep their routine as consistent as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions you provide. I make sure pets always have fresh water, a clean environment, and plenty of attention and affection. I'm attentive on walks, use secure leashes and harnesses, and avoid situations that could make pets uncomfortable or unsafe. I also respect your home by keeping it clean and tidy while you're away. I know every pet is different, so I'm happy to accommodate their individual needs and will keep you updated with messages and photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away.

Knowing how much I love dogs, all sorts of friends and family members have come to me for help. I just graduated from college and have moved back home to San Francisco. I am very excited to be back and get to know some dogs in the area! I would care for your dogs by paying attention to whatever needs they may have. I'd walk them, feed them, and take them outside, and I would be able to crate them if needed.

About: About Me: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life and currently share my home with a beagle and three cats. I started pet sitting quite young and have experience with everything from energetic puppy and kitten care to senior pets. Why Me! All Personalities Welcome: Firmly believe there are no "bad" pets. I am highly confident handling reactive/aggressive dogs and "spicier" cats (they hold a special place in my heart!). Patient, Respectful: If your pet is more shy, anxious, or needs space, I want to be there on their terms and happy to go with their flow. High-Energy: I’ve been active my entire life, so if your dog needs long, brisk walks to tire them out, I can absolutely keep up. If your cat needs at least an hour of head scratches I am ready! Full-Service Care: Dogs: Experienced in feeding routines, walking, long and short, puppy support, and endless fetch. Cats: Feeding, cleaning, being the newest subject of their kingdom. No matter the animal, I am eager to meet them already! I am home from University for the summer so can really be there at any point of the day! I can walk afternoons and visit to feed early mornings and nights. I can easily do longer walks and visit more frequently through the day. Super super flexible. Just important note that I leave for school again on August 18th, so if you are looking for someone long term unfortunately I might not be the right fit- but I will offer a discounted rate due to my availability only being for 3 months! I understand the trust and love between a pet and owner - having grown up with both cats and dogs so I will always make sure your pet feels safe and comforted!
