“This was our first time working with a dog walker and Lani did a wonderful job meeting us. Playing with our pup and walking her around the neighborhood. Lani was very respectful and helpful. Will definitely be booking her again!”

About: Hi, I'm Ko! I have a deep love for animals that goes back as far as I can remember. I've spent 10+ years caring for dogs and building a genuine understanding of what animals need to feel safe, comfortable, and happy. I believe a pet's emotional and mental wellbeing matters just as much as the physical basics. My goal is always for your pet to feel understood and at ease, whether that's a dog who needs a long run or a cat who just needs a calm, respectful presence in their space. Your pet is family. I make sure to treat them that way. I have a flexible schedule and am happy to adapt to whatever routine works best for your pet. With structured routines, frequent updates, and fun weekend adventures, your pet's well-being and happiness are my top priorities. I work remotely part-time, so I have ample time to exercise, feed, and love on your pet! I have no problem with pets that may need more attention and keeping my time outside of the home brief (1-3 hrs.) When caring for pets in their own home, I prioritize keeping their world as familiar and comfortable as possible. One of the primary ways I ensure your animals feel safe is by closely adhering to their routines so I follow feeding, medication, and exercise schedules closely and treat any deviations as the exception, not the norm. Before settling in, I do a quiet walkthrough to check for anything that could pose a risk—unsecured doors, open windows, potential hazards—so your pet's environment is as safe as it is comfortable. From there, I let the pet lead. Some warm up quickly, some take time, and I'm equally comfortable with both. Throughout every visit, I keep you in the loop with regular updates and photos. You should never have to wonder how your pet is doing.
About: I've loved dogs even before my family got our first dog. Taking on extra responsibilities for our first dog was so exciting, and now it's all I want to do. Knowing how much I love dogs, all sorts of friends and family members have come to me for help. I just graduated from college and have moved back home to San Francisco. I am very excited to be back and get to know some dogs in the area! I would care for your dogs by paying attention to whatever needs they may have. I'd walk them, feed them, and take them outside, and I would be able to crate them if needed.
About: My entire life I have had pets and cared for other peoples pets. I currently volunteer and foster for an animal rescue and have been doing so for nearly a decade. I have pets of my own and treat everyone else’s pet as if they were mine. I understand positive reinforcement training methods and only use positivity in my practice. It can be stressful to leave our pets, but as a pet owner myself I do whatever I can to make you and your pet more comfortable. Most of my clients take medication and/or are medically needy. I am comfortable giving medication or any special care they may need. I look forward to seeing how I can best support you and your fur babies! I am deeply lucky to be able to work with pets as my full time job. I am happy to see how I can best accommodate you and your pets. I have an handful of pets of my own and treat every single pet I care for as family. I ask that I’m given emergency contact info and at least one person to reach in the event that your pet needs care and I am unable to reach you.
About: Ive taken care of dogs for the past year professionally, but have experience with (large) dogs previously in my personal life. I have lots of love for all types of dogs big and small! Besides walking and feeding, I’ve dealt with sick dogs, senior dogs that require that extra special attention, as well as anxious pups! I’m currently in school, but have a manageable and shifty schedule ready to care for these sweet fur babies! Mornings are a bit tricky but afternoons/evenings are always bendable! I have three cats, a gecko and have only cared for bunnies in my home! I have experience with crates and daily home drop ins for both cats and dogs which included walking, hygiene check ups, feeding and play time/excercise !
About: I was born onto a ranch with goats, chickens, a cat, and a whole bunch of dogs. Throughout my childhood, we also took in dogs through the foster care system which allowed me to experience dogs from all different sizes, ages, and temperaments. In college, I dog sat multiple times for a week - 2 weeks at a time. I always have been respectful of the space I am in and will send you pictures and updates so you know your loved one is safe and healthy. I am very comfortable with young dog training/care. I am fully available during the day time, I work part time in the evening, and am available overnight. My evening work will only keep me away from 2-4 hours maximum. I care for any pet as if it is my own. I will feed your pet at the times you request. I love to take dogs out on walks, in any environment that suits your dog. I do very well with high energy and playful dogs as I have one of my own. I will also be there to give your dog cuddles and love while you can't.

About: I've grown up my entire life tending to animals, whether it be pets or the pets of neighbors, although I've only pursued pet care for income within the past 4 years. I'm organized, attentive, and responsible, giving me the necessary traits to excel at taking care of your pets. I am available any day of the week from 9 AM to 8 PM. I am home from UC Davis for the summer and I would love to take on extra work with your pets! I care for pets in any home by providing food and playtime when and if necessary. Whether it's filling dog bowls, picking up poop, or taking them for a walk, your pets will be cared for like no other.

“Katie was great! She kept in great communication with me for all the walks we had scheduled - and even followed up when my dog didn’t want to come out from under the couch. She was prompt and super sweet with Murphy. I’d highly recommend her and will definitely be using Katie for walks in the future!”

“Martin & Robert walked my pups when I was out for the entire day and I came home to some super happy dogs and a very sweet Rover card with great photos. :) Thanks so much!”

About: Hi, my name is Vy and I would love to have the opportunity to take care of your furry divas 🐾💕! I have pet sat dogs and cats for my friends and family numerous times and grew up taking care of cats. I work full time outside of Rover but would love to spend my weekends taking care of your furry babies. I work full time during the weekdays (typical 9 to 5 in office) and am availability during weekends to give your pets some love and attention. I live in a quiet apartment where your pets are free to sprawl out and enjoy. There are multiple parks within walking distance where I would be happy to take your little ones on an adventure to.
About: I have experience with cats, rabbits, hamsters, and dogs. I love to play with animals and go on adventures. I also love to hangout with them and give them loads of attention. I am able to adapt to a pet's needs. I practice patience and care with all my furry friends. I am currently working part-time and have a lot of availability. I am an early riser and would love to do morning routines and walks in addition to any other schedule needs. I am very respectful of other's homes and spaces. I leave places better than I found them. I like to keep things neat and tidy.
About: In addition to being raised sharing responsibility for our household cats and dogs, I've been providing house sitting and pet care for my community for as long as I can remember, and thus have ample references I'm happy to provide! Aside from regularly caring for dogs and cats, I also have snake & reptile and even horse experience! Making sure your animals get the care they deserve is really important to me, and it's always heartwarming to meet new fun creatures. I am a student working part time and I'm very well available to take care of your animals. I'm best available for visit and house sitting services. One of the reasons I wanted to join Rover was that I am moving into a pet-free apartment and I'm really excited to get my dog and cat fix. I don't have availability to host animals, but I am a diligent walker/visitor/house-sitter with years of experience. It makes me feel good to take care of your space and your pet because it offers me a sense of adventure and newness that I often look forward to! I'm always happy to provide references upon request. I've got many :) Family and external, too!

I’m currently a college student that has free time most of afternoon. So I believe this will fit my schedule perfectly. All my classes are in the morning I take them out for walks or runs because I live in an apartment so I try to take out my dog as much as I can.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Twin Peaks
James is an excellent dog walker for our dog, Dory! Dory can be a little shy and wary of strangers, but she really warmed up to James within a pretty short time period. We attribute it to James’ easygoing nature and positive energy. He is incredibly responsive, provides very thoughtful updates, sends many photos of our sweet pup, and always keeps us informed. We are grateful for James and appreciate that he treats our Dory girl with love, kindness, and patience. She seems to enjoy her walking adventures with him! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a dog walker they can trust!

Sam is really the best! He is punctual, r caring and our dog loved every time he came to the door. We needed him in a pinch for a family emergency and he was so kind to help take care of our dog in a last minute. It removed all worries during a very stressful time. Sam is our first line whenever we need someone. So glad we found him!

We cannot say enough good things about Surekha. Finding someone you trust with your dog is tough, but she made it incredibly easy. She is so genuinely kind and patient, and she has been absolutely wonderful with our mini Aussie. She understands his personality perfectly and tailors her approach to exactly what our pup needs that day. Surekha is dependable, communicative, and just a joy to work with. Highly, highly recommend!
