While Hank is a little standoff-ish with new humans at first, she warms to new dogs very quickly. Hank and Kit really seemed to become friends over the course of the stay. All in all, Lori and Hank are great and will definitely be using her again!”

About: I'm a foreigner and I should have left my little Hachi and Bailey in my country with their grandmother, my mom🤣 it's hard to be away from them and my way of spreading the love I feel for animals is by helping to take care of them, even for a couple of hours. I can guarantee that I will take care of them and give them love for as long as you need as if they were mine❤️ The work you currently do leaves me a lot of freedom of time, it can be said that I am my own boss, I can adapt to the time I need to take care of your pets, it would only be a matter of talking about it beforehand and with time. I really have availability every day I don't have dogs at home, my garden is fenced but my apartment is small and I consider it preferable to play or take care of pets in their comfort zone, but I have no problem bringing them home if necessary.

About: I'm a communications professional for 30 years now, so it comes natural for me to share with pet owners every milestone of any day they're apart from their pets and trusting me with their care. For 20 years, I've cared for my friend's dogs, cats, and chickens in the Bay Area just for the fun of it. Now I'd like to open my experience and hope it will lead to more travel when I retire in a few year. Also, I have a veterinarian friend on speed dial. I've never had to call in an emergency. But I could! I work from home most days. I write, so I sit at my desk and I don't move much. I love having a cat on the desk or a well-exercised dog in their bed waiting for my next move. I go downtown twice a week, but I have a retired neighbor who volunteers at Animal Control and the SF Zoo who is nuts about dog-walking to fill-in for noontime walks. I am an expert Kong-stuffer and a tug of war extremist, with a nice car that I don't mind getting hairy or muddy. Poo and litter are not things I shy away from. I love the smell of pet feet.

We take our dog out 3 times a day for potty breaks and several walks a day. We can really take your dog out whenever is needed, as one of us is always available. Our home is very, very dog proof. Our dog loves to eat everything so we’re very mindful of keeping things tidy. Especially with larger dogs, we put away our dogs smaller toys, so that there’s no possibility of them being ingested (there’s the labrador experience haha!) we will be around and loving your pet 24/7 while they’re in our care ❤️

About: Animals seem to gravitate towards me, I grew up in the country surrounded by many animals and am a lover of all creatures. I have always learned that positive reinforcement is better than negative and I live by this rule. I work from home mostly, I’m very available, and am really excited to get to be around dogs on a regular basis again. I’ve taken care of many of my friends dogs over the years, working from home allows me to help with my favorite furry friends when my people friends travel. Last year I lived on a farm and took care of two pit bulls for most of the year, it was a great joy to be able to run around with them and teach the puppy new commands. I am so excited to get to experience puppy love again regularly. I have done this for friends just for the joy of it and now to get to do it and get a little income too is just great.
