Having grown up with dogs and cats, I have lifelong experience in caring for pets-my family currently has a 4-year old chocolate lab and a 10 year old tuxedo cat. I've been caring for others' pets for over 10 years through dog walking and overnight petsitting at clients' homes. I have a wide range of experience in caring for various dog breeds, temperaments, and sizes, as well as caring for senior pets and administering medication. I understand that each pet has unique needs, and my approach is always with the utmost care, patience and love. For first-time clients, I’d like to meet prior to a booking to learn about your pet’s routines, preferences, and any special needs. Please feel free to reach out to schedule a meet and greet, and I look forward to meeting you and your pet ☺️ Weekly availability by day Saturday, Sunday-Mon: Flexible availability Tues-Wed: Available before 12pm and after 5pm, as I am in class from 12-5pm Thurs-Fri: Availability varies, please reach out I always arrange a meet and greet to learn more about your pet's routines (sleep, feeding, exercise) and needs (diet, medication). When pets are in my care, I adhere to their routines to ensure that they are comfortable and happy, and regularly share updates and photos with clients. For overnight petsitting stays at clients' homes, I am happy to discuss any additional care for your household and go over expectations for my time in your space.

About: 1. Emotional connection – You treat pets like family, not clients. You take time to understand their quirks, comforts, and anxieties. 2. Communication with owners – You keep pet parents in the loop with daily updates, photos, and honest check-ins that build trust. 3. Calm and patient presence – Animals (especially anxious or older pets) feel safe around you because you’re gentle, consistent, and grounded. 4. Experience with a range of animals – You’re comfortable with more than just dogs and cats—maybe rabbits, birds, senior pets, or those with medications. I’m currently focused full-time on pet sitting after a recent tech layoff, which means I’m flexible, reliable, and fully available to give your pets the attention and care they deserve. Creating a safe, calm, and nurturing environment is always my top priority. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or theirs, I focus on consistency, comfort, and communication. • Safety: I pet-proof the space, follow all feeding and medication instructions carefully, and keep a close eye on behavior or changes in health. I also never leave pets unattended in unfamiliar situations. • Trust: I stick to routines pets are used to, offer lots of affection and patience, and send regular updates so owners feel at ease while away. Building trust with both pet and owner is at the core of what I do. • Environment: I make sure pets have a quiet, clean space to relax, plenty of exercise and enrichment, and as little disruption to their normal routine as possible. In my home, I offer a peaceful, pet-friendly space. In your home, I treat it with care and respect like it’s my own.

“We were so grateful to have Regina look after our cat! She sent photos each day and kept us up to date on how he was doing. From the photos we could tell Latte really trusted her which made us feel at ease while we were away! She even watered our plants for us which was so generous. We are excited to have someone so kind and reliable nearby to care for our cat.”

About: I have been caring for animals most of my life- dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs. You name it- they have been in my home at some point. I have also been volunteering at animal shelters for much of my adult life. After leaving corporate in 2023, I decided to make my passion for animals my next career. Since then I have immersed myself in dogs- understanding canine language and training dogs. Through hundreds of hours of dog walking as well as coursework, I became a certified dog walker via Contra Costa Animal Services. Curriculum included: Fear Free Training, Reading Canine Body Language, Defensive Handling, Fearful & Reactive Dogs and the Karen Pryor Dog Training Foundations Course. At the shelter I also work with cats and do adoption counseling. Helping people find their new family member is a joy. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to work with special needs animals and am comfortable administrating medications, both oral and intravenously. If you have a high energy dog, I can take your dog for a run up to 3-4 miles upon request, with 24 hour notice. I am comfortable walking 2 dogs at once, as long as they are familiar with each other. I am able to drop in visits to feed your pet and offer companionship. At this time, overnight visits aren't available. Perhaps in the future. I am available Monday-Thursday, as early as 6 am but no later than 5 pm (exceptions may be made on request and with sufficient notice) I currently do not have a dog in my San Francisco home. My love bug is staying with his "dad" in the East Bay. I visit on weekends.

I live near Twin Peaks so there will be plenty of walks with beautiful views and smells In your space, I will respect whatever rules you have.

About: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life! Love being around dogs, whether it be playing and running or just chilling on the couch. Recently moved to a place where I can’t have pets, so caring for other people’s fur babies is the next best thing! I work a full time desk job, so I have plenty of energy to play, run around, and be active with dogs throughout the day. They give me an excuse to get away from my desk! Years and years of caring for dogs has given me to experience of identifying the comfort level of animals. I am honest and trustworty. I want to keep my regulars and want them to trust that I will care for their precious animals.
