“Joey was fantastic with our three month old puppy! We are new puppy parents and both nurses so we work long shifts. This was our first time leaving our new puppy home while we both worked a 12 hour shift. She came 3 times, for an hour each time and provided tons of updates. She reinforced training we’ve been working on and made us feel so comfortable leaving him! Will definitely be rebooking again with Joey!”

“Another fantastic/seamless experience with Kevin. So glad to have found him. My little old boy is very special and it’s really difficult to leave him alone. Kevin puts me at ease and allows me travel when I need to without worrying about my boy Sebastian. Thanks again, Kevin!”
“Natalie was an excellent new cat sitter for me and my kitty!!! she offered to come over a few days before for key pickup and to meet my cat. her report was thorough and included many photos. Natalie is super responsive and I will request her services again!”

“The best Rover experience we’ve had! Fast responses, thorough communication, and an overall excellent experience with Laxmi. We are so lucky to have found her to take care of our cat on such short notice!”

“Julia was great! She helped us out when we needed a sitter last minute. She was flexible and had great communication. Our skittish cat even let her brush her after a few visits. We’d definitely work with her again in the future!”

“Aaron was wonderful with our cat Luna and really came through for a last minute request when our original sitting plans fell through. He sent incredibly detailed notes and pictures, which I really appreciated, since it was our first time using rover for our shy girl. We will definitely request Aaron for any of our future cat sitting needs!!”

About: I have babysat: 1) a medium sized 50 lb hound mix dog for a month at a time every year for 13 years (over the course of its life time from when she was a puppy to death) whose personality was very energetic and anxious. It needed a lot of exercise everyday, stimulated play, and long walks which I happily enjoyed! But she also needed to be watched carefully to ensure she didn’t scare anybody by playfully jumping on them. She would tug a lot during walks and would get excited seeing other dogs but I’ve always managed to calmly steer her away if aggression showed or if the other person or dog she was meeting showed signs of being uncomfortable. This dog always stayed at my place when I babysat her. Made sure she was fed on time twice a day and provided fresh water everyday. 2) two cats at a month at a time for the past 4 years. Stayed at the owner’s place every time. Had to be fed at certain times twice a day, gave them treats throughout the day and attention whenever they requested it. Sometimes I would initiate the contact but if the cats weren’t feeling it, they would communicate it and I would stop. They were indoor cats so I also made sure that any windows that were open were secure and they couldn’t slip through. Had no issues of escaped cats. 3) an energetic 8 year old pomsky and an 18 yr old cat for 10 days. House-sat the owner’s place the entire time where I had to walk the dog 4 times every day at a set schedule and feed them both & provide medication to the cat at set times. The Pomsky was very energetic so also took the time during the afternoon to play with her when she had the zoomies. And have the cat tummy rubs and butt scratches whenever she requested it. 4) a large 50 lb, 2 year old, Old English Sheepdog (named Cura). House-sat & dog-sat Cura for 10 days in Los Angeles, CA. Highly energetic who needed a lot of exercise everyday. Very obedient and could be taken off leash. But I always establish a level of trust and learn the dog’s mannerisms before taking them off leash in the park or around the apartment/house block. Cura also had a tendency to be scared of aggressive dogs or loud noises so I always maintained a level of reassurance and safety with her. Also had to be aware of the high temperatures in LA (given the summer time), hence I’d walk her early in the morning and late at night. 5) a 5 yr old, 25 lb, hound whippet mixed dog named Phoebe - house sat and babysat her for 12 days. Highly anxious who needed to be administered an anxiety pill every morning and needed constant attention and long walks. 6) Hamsters - babysat them for a week at a time for friends whenever they went out of town. Fed and cleaned the box. Would occasionally bring it out of its cage to let it roam around the room in its ball. 7) I have my own pet - a red eared slider turtle who I claim to be my aquatic dog 😉. He is 18 years old and I got him when he was just the size of a quarter. But he gets excited to see me whenever I enter the room and will follow me in the apartment when I let him out to walk around. He can also recognize me out of a group of people! 8) I have a ton of plants that I have grown in the past 6 years - huge monstera (from a 1 foot baby to now a 7 ft giant with 30 inch wide leaves), verraccusum, constellation monstera, cacti, pothos, glorosium, etc. I’m currently unemployed (taking a hiatus from being an accountant in the corporate world) so I have all the time to take care of your pet(s). Available anytime to feed, walk, play, and assist in providing medication. I have a pet turtle that I’ve had for 18 years that I have by a sunny window. But every other day, I’ll let him out in the apartment to walk around and explore (but he will often just follow me around😉). I currently live in an apartment that doesn’t allow dogs or cats so over the last few years, I’ve always taken care of pets at the owner’s place. Either living at their place or coming to their place at set times to feed and/or walk their pets.
About: My name is Megan and I currently live in San Francisco, CA. I would love to provide care for your dog. I am an experienced previous dog owner and experienced pet sitter. I am able to board, feed, walk, and any other necessary care. I am also open to taking care of any other pets you have (cats, fish, rabbits and bearded dragons are some of the pets that I have experience with caring for). Please feel free to contact me here or at the phone number provided if you are interested. Thank you! I teach at a school that is three blocks from my house from 9am-4:30pm, so I can come home for lunch break walks if needed. I can walk dogs before and after school and let the dog into my backyard garden at any time. On the weekends, I can take dogs to the beach or on other fun outdoor adventures! I have taken care of people’s’ pets in a number of ways. I have stopped by people’s’ houses for care, boarded pets, and stayed overnight in pets’ homes.
“Jessica was super attentive and responsible in watching my cat while I was gone! She really takes effort to make sure your pet is happy and you are comfortable as well. I could see in update pics that my cat LOVED her company, which is always so nice to see. Shes very communicative and professional as well.”

About: I've loved animals my whole life and naturally connect with both dogs and cats. If I'm at a party, there's a good chance you'll find me hanging out with the pet instead of the people. I had a cat, Nellie, for 11 years, and I've also lived with and helped care for an untrained puppy for two years, so I'm comfortable with the patience and consistency young dogs need. What sets me apart is that I genuinely enjoy earning an animal's trust and understanding their individual personality, helping them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away. I have a part time job right now so I have lots of time to play with your fuzzy friends. I also love exploring the city and would love to be joined by your pups! I am patient, respectful, attentive, and responsible, and I enjoy making sure each pet gets the attention, exercise, and affection they need. Whether it's taking dogs for walks, playing with energetic puppies and kitties, or spending calming time with everyone, I take pride in treating every pet as if they were my own. I have house sat many times before, and have 3 years of babysitting experience, so I have been in unfamiliar environments and am respectful and responsible.
“Dalara was super responsive and adapted to a bit of a curve ball at the last minute. We appreciate her and her husband checking on our old pup while we were visiting Baltimore from out of town and sending lots of photos. She gave me total peace of mind. Will definitely use her again if we’re in the area.”

About: In addition to being a personal trainer, I’m a former dog owner who genuinely enjoys caring for animals. I currently offer dog boarding, dog walking, and cat sitting in the Glen Park, Diamond Heights and Bernal Heights areas. I have space available for boarding on weekends or for longer stays—up to 2 weeks. All of my references are reliable and available upon request. Feel free to reach out with any questions! Most of my workday is spent in the Glen Park area, so I’m usually either at home, in the park, or at the studio. Depending on your dog’s temperament, they’ll either be active with me throughout the day or relaxing comfortably at the studio while I train clients. Occasionally, Your dog will never be left alone for long. I follow whatever bedding or crate setup your dog is used to and stick to their regular feeding schedule. I’ll work closely with you to accommodate your dog’s specific needs and temperament, including any routines around exercise, socialization, cleaning, or administering medication. I live in a secure space with an enclosed patio, directly across the street from Glen Canyon Park—an ideal spot for an active, dog-friendly lifestyle. Your dog will be a welcome part of that rhythm while staying with me. When house-sitting, I’m vigilant about home security. Whether it’s bringing in the mail, leaving lights on, or making sure packages aren’t left out—I’m happy to follow your preferences to keep your home looking lived-in and cared for.
“Alejandro was great with Ginger! He was patient with her being shy and took the time for her to warm up to him. Great communicator and 100% on-time.”

Joslyn was wonderful. I had to go out of town last minute, and was worried about leaving my 2 young kitties. A few of my cat gadgets broke while I was gone, and she ended up having to clean up their mess, but she was so gracious. Would absolutely trust her to watch my babies again!

Rachel is amazing!! She is thoughtful and responsive and clearly cares about my kitten! My girl also obviously has the best time playing with Rachel and is happy to have her come by. Rachel’s updates are thorough and I feel complete peace of mind when traveling. Couldn’t recommend her as a cat sitter enough!

Amazing care for my cats. I will definitely be a repeat customer. She went above and beyond and ensured my cats were happy and healthy, being diligent about food, water, and even socializing with them. she is an excellent communicator. I would highly recommend Marianna
Xinyuan was so reliable, kind, and meticulous. Highly recommended! She sent several photos and videos after every visit and was so caring, taking the time to play with my cat who was lonely the week I was away. She also vacuumed up all the tracked litter! Nice to come home to clean floors.

Liz was an absolute DREAM! She took such good care of my cat while I was gone for 2 weeks. I was so nervous to be gone for so long, but Liz put me at ease with her thoughtful questions, updates and pictures she sent. Liz fed my cat, played with her, and took care of her litter and water exactly how I preferred. She even noticed something in my apartment, let me know and handled it. She left my apartment very clean and I truly could not recommend her more!! I will definitely be booking with her again :)

Michelle is great! Did a fantastic job watching over our cat Moza with daily visits while we were away for the longest time we had been away from her. Michelle followed all care instructions great and we received daily updates and pics. Really cared for our cat and went above and beyond in communication and play time. Would highly recommend! Thanks very much!

Leaving another review for Hillary because she has been absolutely amazing and so flexible with our kitties for multiple last minute requests! One of our kitties is on chemo and needs multiple meds, and it’s such a relief to have someone as trustworthy, kind, and careful as Hillary to check on him while we’re away.
