“Eric went above and beyond. He met us beforehand to check out the place and meet Sami and was flexible with our schedule. He not only fed our cat while we were gone, he changed his pee pad and even did some light cleaning. The updates and photos were super reassuring and we felt very confident with him watching our cat. Thank you Eric!!”

“Katrina is amazing! It was clear from the intro how much she cared for dogs, and in the videos that she sent us of her time with our dog you could see how happy he was around her. We would recommend her to anyone, and will definitely utilize her services again!”

About: Hi! I'm a lifelong animal lover who's been around large dogs my entire life. At home, I have a sweet 3-year-old cat named Pepper, so I'm comfortable caring for both dogs and cats. My favorite pets are the ones who love to relax on the couch just as much as they enjoy getting outside for a walk or a game of fetch. Whether your dog is a playful retriever who can't get enough tennis balls or a couch potato who just wants company and cuddles, I'll make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while you're away. I understand that every pet has their own personality, and I'm happy to match their energy—whether that's playtime, snuggles, or simply keeping them company. I'm proud to provide an LGBTQIA+ friendly, inclusive, and judgment-free experience where every pet parent is welcome. I can't wait to meet you and your furry family member! I work part-time, which gives me the flexibility to provide dependable care throughout the week. Whether your pet needs drop-in visits, walks, feedings, playtime, or overnight care, I'm happy to work around their routine to help them feel comfortable while you're away. I believe consistency is important, so I'll do my best to stick to your pet's normal schedule. I'm also comfortable administering routine medications and following any special care instructions to make sure your pet receives the attentive, personalized care they deserve. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your furry family member. My biggest priority is making sure both you and your pet feel comfortable while you're apart. I'll follow your pet's routine closely, keep your home tidy and secure, and make sure they have everything they need—from fresh food and water to playtime, enrichment, and affection. I'm also comfortable administering routine medications and following detailed care instructions. One thing you can count on is lots of updates! As a cat mom to Pepper, I know my favorite part of having a sitter is receiving plenty of photos and messages. I'll send regular pictures and updates so you can see how your pet is doing and have peace of mind while you're away. My goal is for you to feel like you never have to wonder how your best friend is doing.
“Michelle went way beyond the call of duty. She was wonderful with my dog and cat. I have used Michelle before when I was out of town, and I will certainly use her again. I highly recommend her. Thank you, Michelle!”

About: I grew up with a golden retriever and a Jack Russell/Westie mix, and love spending time with animals of all different personalities! Since graduating from UC Berkeley 3 years ago, I have regularly watched dogs at my parents’ house and pet/house sat for family and friends, caring for both dogs and cats. My apartment does not allow for pets, so I am looking to become a regular presence for dogs in the neighborhood who need a walk or check in while their human is away! I currently work remotely from home, so I am available for drop in visits during the day and walks during my lunchtime. I am located the in Noe Valley/Castro area I am comfortable reading a dog’s body language to tell if they need space, a walk to get some energy, or some quiet company. I also have experience following house rules and specific pet care needs.
About: I have worked in dog hotels as an overnight caretaker (no humans, just dogs), I have been a dog walker and a dog owner for nearly my whole life. I trained our family service dog (recently passed) on my own and got her professionally certified. I am home everyday as a homeschooling mom. Your pet is a part of the family while they are here. My kids and I are a chill group, Dogs are a natural fit. I have a small deck in the back, my kids and I go on walks constantly, the dogs are welcome on the beds and on the couches. My home is their home.
“Hannah did a great job taking care of our cat! Easy to coordinate with and attentive to his feeding/play rituals. He was in great spirits when we came home. Would recommend!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life! Love being around dogs, whether it be playing and running or just chilling on the couch. Recently moved to a place where I can’t have pets, so caring for other people’s fur babies is the next best thing! I work a full time desk job, so I have plenty of energy to play, run around, and be active with dogs throughout the day. They give me an excuse to get away from my desk! Years and years of caring for dogs has given me the experience of identifying the comfort level of animals. I am honest and trustworty. I want to keep my regulars and want them to trust that I will care for their precious animals.
“Dena took such great care of our 9 year old cat who rarely comes out of hiding for new people. By the end, our cat was hanging out with Dena and totally comfortable. Punctuality, communication, all was great. Will definitely book with her again ☺️ thank you!”

About: Hi! I’m Sully, a Mission local and your pet’s new Cool Auntie. I’ll be the one to makes sure your fur baby feels safe, loved, and a little spoiled. 😌🐾 I’m not a pop in and leave sitter. I’m going to be the auntie who learns your pet’s vibe and make each visit feel more familiar and comforting. I’m also a proud cat mom to three big personalities (bratty tortie, black cat chaos, and a bipolar Siamese rescue), so I’m patient, confident, and pretty good at winning over even the toughest little divas. I’ve been pet sitting since my early 20s, starting with my family’s pets and friends’ pets (their friends as well), and over the years I’ve built real relationships with so many of them. I’m now the go-to sitter they call when they travel, which means I regularly get to see my extended fur nieces and nephews 🥰 and keep their routines consistent while their parents are away. During drop-ins, I’ll follow your routine closely. Fresh food & water, potty breaks, litter box care, playtime, and photo updates so you can actually relax. I’m looking for long-term fur friendships even if it’s just a regular monthly visit or being your go-to auntie sitter when travel pops up. I am a full-time case manager for a local nonprofit, Monday through Friday from 9AM to 5PM. So I’m your go-to for evening and weekend care! I’m available for drop-ins: • Weeknights: 6:30 PM–11:00 PM • Weekends: 7:00 AM–11:00 PM As your pet’s “cool auntie,” I’ll always respect your home and your routine. I follow a shoes-off rule (like I do at home), keep things tidy, and I’ll stick to your instructions for food, potty breaks, litter box care, playtime, and medications (limited). If you’re comfortable with it, I also love bringing a small “peace offering” for the first visit like a toy or an approved treat to help build trust and make our first meet feel positive. If your pet has allergies or a preferred snack, just let me know. My goal is for your pet to recognize my footsteps like, “oh! my auntie’s here.”

About: 2026 Update: I took a couple years off from Rover as I got married! And that took up a lot of my time planning, moving, etc. Now, I’m settled in and ready to meet your pups! I’ve dog walked and dog sat for years, and I have experience with various dog ages and needs. I’ve cared for young, old, deaf, blind, high-energy, and calm and cuddly sweeties. Note: Please book “Drop In Visit” for less than 4 hours stay and “House Sitting” for more than 4 hours if you need a longer visit but not an overnight for the most accurate rate. I am required to go to the office 3 days a week. I’m currently working at an in office job, but I can wfh two days a week. This would allow me to walk your pup in the evenings or on weekends. I can also house sit for 3-4 day blocks if I wfh those days. Safety is one of my top priorities. I always double check locks and make sure there isn’t anything left within reach of your furry friends if I leave your home. I also always make sure I have an emergency vet and close friend/neighbor/maintenance contact in case of emergency. I can also send pictures of your pets throughout if you’d like to see how they are doing!
About: Hello! I’ve been walking and sitting animals for more than a decade, and love making new furry friends. I’ve cared for puppies and older dogs, high-energy and anxious animals. I have a wily, wonderful pug-mix at home who loves a chance to socialize, too. I currently work from home, for myself, so I have room to take on clients in the mornings, afternoons, or evenings. Weekends and weekdays both work! I approach all new animals with sensitivity and respect for their space and needs. I love getting to know a dog and learning their personality traits, favorite routes, and funny quirks. This helps me get to know what they need, when.

“Rafael was a great sitter for Loki. He took him on long walks and kept us informed through the many pictures he snapped of Loki. He also kept us informed of Loki's potty routine and contacted us when he was worried. I highly recommend Rafael for you Rover needs and you and your pooch will be happy to choose him”

Arillia communicated clearly and promptly, arrived on time to drop-in visits, and provided photos while we were away. We were able to relax and know that our kitties were well taken care of in our absence. We will definitely reach out to Arillia in the future!

Nick was great!! Was very patient and gentle with our sweet skittish dog and managed to get her to warm up to him. Was very professional, friendly, and the exact right amount of communicative. Followed instructions great and went above and beyond. Will definitely book with him again.

Paula did a wonderful job looking after our cat while we were away. She sent timely messages and pictures, played with our normally shy cat, and even made sure all was well in our home while we were away. We will certainly contact her again for our next trip.

Julianne was great - very quick and easy to communicate with, proactive in getting an in-person meet and orientation with our dog before we left for our trip. She was very engaged and friendly with Maddie and kept us in the loop, leaving us with nothing to worry about.

Tara was incredibly helpful and friendly dog sitter for our big & anxious dog, Maddie! She was very on top of communication throughout the process, and went above and beyond in helping with cleanup, keeping a close eye on her and asking questions about anything that worried her. She has very flexible hours and clearly doted on our pup. Would happily book her again!

Amy was the best cat sitter we could have asked for when we were leaving our son for a week. Our hearts were calmed as soon as we saw how well she got along with Wallace and all the care and love she showed him. Detailed check in messages and a stack of gorgeous photos of our boy every day— we are so grateful for Amy being here for our beloved cat while we were traveling and could not recommend her enough.
