“Natalie was an excellent new cat sitter for me and my kitty!!! she offered to come over a few days before for key pickup and to meet my cat. her report was thorough and included many photos. Natalie is super responsive and I will request her services again!”

“Dalara was super responsive and adapted to a bit of a curve ball at the last minute. We appreciate her and her husband checking on our old pup while we were visiting Baltimore from out of town and sending lots of photos. She gave me total peace of mind. Will definitely use her again if we’re in the area.”

“Michelle went way beyond the call of duty. She was wonderful with my dog and cat. I have used Michelle before when I was out of town, and I will certainly use her again. I highly recommend her. Thank you, Michelle!”

“Aaron was so great- took many photos, kept the litter box clean, had fast responses and kept my apartment clean. So grateful for his help. My vacation was nicer knowing he looked over my Gigi🩶”

About: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life! Love being around dogs, whether it be playing and running or just chilling on the couch. Recently moved to a place where I can’t have pets, so caring for other people’s fur babies is the next best thing! I work a full time desk job, so I have plenty of energy to play, run around, and be active with dogs throughout the day. They give me an excuse to get away from my desk! Years and years of caring for dogs has given me the experience of identifying the comfort level of animals. I am honest and trustworty. I want to keep my regulars and want them to trust that I will care for their precious animals.

About: I have babysat: 1) a medium sized 50 lb hound mix dog for a month at a time every year for 13 years (over the course of its life time from when she was a puppy to death) whose personality was very energetic and anxious. It needed a lot of exercise everyday, stimulated play, and long walks which I happily enjoyed! But she also needed to be watched carefully to ensure she didn’t scare anybody by playfully jumping on them. She would tug a lot during walks and would get excited seeing other dogs but I’ve always managed to calmly steer her away if aggression showed or if the other person or dog she was meeting showed signs of being uncomfortable. This dog always stayed at my place when I babysat her. Made sure she was fed on time twice a day and provided fresh water everyday. 2) two cats at a month at a time for the past 4 years. Stayed at the owner’s place every time. Had to be fed at certain times twice a day, gave them treats throughout the day and attention whenever they requested it. Sometimes I would initiate the contact but if the cats weren’t feeling it, they would communicate it and I would stop. They were indoor cats so I also made sure that any windows that were open were secure and they couldn’t slip through. Had no issues of escaped cats. 3) an energetic 8 year old pomsky and an 18 yr old cat for 10 days. House-sat the owner’s place the entire time where I had to walk the dog 4 times every day at a set schedule and feed them both & provide medication to the cat at set times. The Pomsky was very energetic so also took the time during the afternoon to play with her when she had the zoomies. And have the cat tummy rubs and butt scratches whenever she requested it. 4) a large 50 lb, 2 year old, Old English Sheepdog (named Cura). House-sat & dog-sat Cura for 10 days in Los Angeles, CA. Highly energetic who needed a lot of exercise everyday. Very obedient and could be taken off leash. But I always establish a level of trust and learn the dog’s mannerisms before taking them off leash in the park or around the apartment/house block. Cura also had a tendency to be scared of aggressive dogs or loud noises so I always maintained a level of reassurance and safety with her. Also had to be aware of the high temperatures in LA (given the summer time), hence I’d walk her early in the morning and late at night. 5) a 5 yr old, 25 lb, hound whippet mixed dog named Phoebe - house sat and babysat her for 12 days. Highly anxious who needed to be administered an anxiety pill every morning and needed constant attention and long walks. 6) Hamsters - babysat them for a week at a time for friends whenever they went out of town. Fed and cleaned the box. Would occasionally bring it out of its cage to let it roam around the room in its ball. 7) I have my own pet - a red eared slider turtle who I claim to be my aquatic dog 😉. He is 18 years old and I got him when he was just the size of a quarter. But he gets excited to see me whenever I enter the room and will follow me in the apartment when I let him out to walk around. He can also recognize me out of a group of people! 8) I have a ton of plants that I have grown in the past 6 years - huge monstera (from a 1 foot baby to now a 7 ft giant with 30 inch wide leaves), verraccusum, constellation monstera, cacti, pothos, glorosium, etc. I’m currently unemployed (taking a hiatus from being an accountant in the corporate world) so I have all the time to take care of your pet(s). Available anytime to feed, walk, play, and assist in providing medication. I have a pet turtle that I’ve had for 18 years that I have by a sunny window. But every other day, I’ll let him out in the apartment to walk around and explore (but he will often just follow me around😉). I currently live in an apartment that doesn’t allow dogs or cats so over the last few years, I’ve always taken care of pets at the owner’s place. Either living at their place or coming to their place at set times to feed and/or walk their pets.
About: Nice to meet you! I am a lifelong lover of animals, and have always had pets of my own. I have years of experience volunteering at the Humane Society, in addition to pet sitting for neighbors and family friends. I understand that it is nerve-wracking to leave our pets, and I welcome the responsibility and privilege that comes along with caring for these special creatures. I am comfortable with administering any medications needed, as well as walking and socializing the animals to ensure they maintain their routines and feel at ease. Every animal is unique, with their own habits, preferences and comfort levels with new people. I understand the importance of paying attention to their queues and adapting to their needs. Our pets are our family, and I will treat yours as just that. I have a very flexible schedule! I am available during the week days and weekends to come by and spend meaningful time with your fur babies, take them on walks, and can make twice daily visits to give them their food, clean litter boxes and administer any medicines needed. If your pet has additional needs, I am happy to work together to create a schedule that accommodates them. As a proud cat parent of two very sweet and energetic cats who have a pension for plastic and hair ties, I understand that many of our pets have their own quirks. I will be diligent in ensuring that the little (or big) ones do not get into anything that is not meant for them. And if you enjoy pictures of your pets while on a trip, I will be their personal photographer!
About: Have taken care of my family dog, my sister’s dog, and many cats and dogs (and houses) of various friends and family. Walks, treats, play, and everyone’s happy! I work weekday mid-afternoons/ early evenings, and occasionally have evening/ nighttime rehearsals. Which means mornings and early afternoons are perfect! Can spend nights (after teaching/rehearsal) if needed as well. I try to get an understanding beforehand of what the particular pets are used to, and try to do as close to that as possible.

About: Ive grown up with dogs since I was 12 years old in the south. Many of my friends and family have dogs - I always do informal training and give long walks. I’m exploring getting or fostering a dog in the future and wanted to get involved here as a first step! I’m currently searching for jobs so have a lot of flexibility throughout the week. Walks and check ins will be preferred but eventually will consider overnight care. I hope to find regular dog parks for your pup to be known at. I like to understand house rules for your dog(s), places they are most comfortable and places that trigger them. I always make sure there is water available and to lock doors behind me.
About: I've loved animals my whole life and naturally connect with both dogs and cats. If I'm at a party, there's a good chance you'll find me hanging out with the pet instead of the people. I had a cat, Nellie, for 11 years, and I've also lived with and helped care for an untrained puppy for two years, so I'm comfortable with the patience and consistency young dogs need. What sets me apart is that I genuinely enjoy earning an animal's trust and understanding their individual personality, helping them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away. I have a part time job right now so I have lots of time to play with your fuzzy friends. I also love exploring the city and would love to be joined by your pups! I am patient, respectful, attentive, and responsible, and I enjoy making sure each pet gets the attention, exercise, and affection they need. Whether it's taking dogs for walks, playing with energetic puppies and kitties, or spending calming time with everyone, I take pride in treating every pet as if they were my own. I have house sat many times before, and have 3 years of babysitting experience, so I have been in unfamiliar environments and am respectful and responsible.

About: Hey there, San Francisco! A little about me: I've had dogs all my life and my love of animals inspired me to study veterinary nursing in college (Didn't finish, but walked away with skills regardless!). I'm huge on animal welfare, and work like this does my heart wonders, as I hope my services do for you and yours! I've had plenty of experience fostering puppies/dogs, as well as with kittens/cats and other small animals if you are in need of help with them as well. I have done some behavioral training with my own previous dog. I also have experience and tons of patience with special needs animals, so medication, specific accommodations, etc. shouldn't be a problem! In fact, our little buddies that need a little extra help hold a particularly special place in my ❤️ In addition, I hold a certificate in dog CPR and first aid, as indicated in my pictures. Looking forward to making new friends with y'all! My current schedule is somewhat flexible, with a few gigs here and there. Obviously, the more notice I have, the better. But if I can work with you, I most certainly will! I can be an early riser if needed, but generally I wake up around 10 a.m. on average. I mostly stay up pretty late, so there is that too. Howling at the moon, of course 😜 Typically, I prefer to do a meet and greet before booking any of my services. I want to make sure that we both feel comfortable with the arrangement and that I can successfully meet your expectations. The more information I have before booking and before the service begins, the better. You'll see that I am highly communicative and send way too many pictures lol! It's important to me to be fully transparent and to be able to reinforce the trust that has been given to me. I understand the importance of our animals and how preciously we want them to be cared for. Whenever and wherever possible, I always try and go above and beyond. Should you need any services that would involve my home, I live in a studio apartment in The Mission near 25th & Mission. Not a huge space, but definitely not a shoebox either. Big enough for me to feel nice and comfy, with room to spare for visitors, especially yours 😉 I don't have a yard, but I do have a gated back patio. There are some general, common animal care supplies at my place. I'm happy to send some pics if it helps to assess whether what I can offer is adequate for you! Please, ask as many and all questions that you would like. My phone is always on and nearby, should there be anything needed to be communicated. I'm pretty open, I can bend, and whatever the case, if I can, I'm more than happy to work with you with whatever situations or circumstances that might be needed to be taken into consideration. I teach yoga classes, so I am pretty fit and strong, but I generally set my dog size limit at 25 lbs and under. But each situation and dog is different, so again, whenever possible, I'll work with you if I can!
About: Hello! I’ve been walking and sitting animals for more than a decade, and love making new furry friends. I’ve cared for puppies and older dogs, high-energy and anxious animals. I have a wily, wonderful pug-mix at home who loves a chance to socialize, too. I currently work from home, for myself, so I have room to take on clients in the mornings, afternoons, or evenings. Weekends and weekdays both work! I approach all new animals with sensitivity and respect for their space and needs. I love getting to know a dog and learning their personality traits, favorite routes, and funny quirks. This helps me get to know what they need, when.
“Magen is fabulous! We usually have her walk our very high energy 10 month Australian Shepherd weekly but we needed someone to watch him and our cat while we went away for a weekend and it was great! She always communicates and sends great updates and she goes above and beyond with her care. Our puppy and cat love her so much!”

About: I’m a 42-year-old gay dog lover who recently said goodbye to my own pup after 13 incredible years together. Caring for my dog has always been one of the best parts of my life, and I genuinely love getting to know every breed, quirk, zoomie level, and cuddle style out there. Pet care has been part of my daily routine for years. I recently lost my dog after 13 wonderful years together, and before that we took at least three walks a day — everything from quick neighborhood strolls to longer adventures exploring different parts of San Francisco together. I genuinely miss having a little shadow by my side, so caring for and walking dogs still feels like a natural and meaningful part of my everyday life. I love getting to know each dog’s personality, energy, and favorite routines. I focus on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in both my home and theirs. I follow each dog’s routine closely — including walks, feeding, medications, playtime, and cuddle preferences — while giving them plenty of attention, affection, exercise, and calm energy. I also love sending photo updates so owners know their pups are happy and well cared for.

Joslyn was wonderful. I had to go out of town last minute, and was worried about leaving my 2 young kitties. A few of my cat gadgets broke while I was gone, and she ended up having to clean up their mess, but she was so gracious. Would absolutely trust her to watch my babies again!

Rachel is amazing!! She is thoughtful and responsive and clearly cares about my kitten! My girl also obviously has the best time playing with Rachel and is happy to have her come by. Rachel’s updates are thorough and I feel complete peace of mind when traveling. Couldn’t recommend her as a cat sitter enough!

Amazing care for my cats. I will definitely be a repeat customer. She went above and beyond and ensured my cats were happy and healthy, being diligent about food, water, and even socializing with them. she is an excellent communicator. I would highly recommend Marianna
Xinyuan was so reliable, kind, and meticulous. Highly recommended! She sent several photos and videos after every visit and was so caring, taking the time to play with my cat who was lonely the week I was away. She also vacuumed up all the tracked litter! Nice to come home to clean floors.

Liz was an absolute DREAM! She took such good care of my cat while I was gone for 2 weeks. I was so nervous to be gone for so long, but Liz put me at ease with her thoughtful questions, updates and pictures she sent. Liz fed my cat, played with her, and took care of her litter and water exactly how I preferred. She even noticed something in my apartment, let me know and handled it. She left my apartment very clean and I truly could not recommend her more!! I will definitely be booking with her again :)

Michelle is great! Did a fantastic job watching over our cat Moza with daily visits while we were away for the longest time we had been away from her. Michelle followed all care instructions great and we received daily updates and pics. Really cared for our cat and went above and beyond in communication and play time. Would highly recommend! Thanks very much!

Leaving another review for Hillary because she has been absolutely amazing and so flexible with our kitties for multiple last minute requests! One of our kitties is on chemo and needs multiple meds, and it’s such a relief to have someone as trustworthy, kind, and careful as Hillary to check on him while we’re away.
