I run my own remote business full-time so although my schedule is flexible, I only work with folks who are within walking distance when I have the extra time. I'm on Rover because I want to offer a high-quality service to my fellow cat-loving neighbors and meet more fun cats!

At this time, I only offer drop-in visits and I take on a very limited amount of clients at a time. The security of your home is very important to me and I will use discretion when entering and leaving your home. I also don't work with cats I'm not comfortable with: I won't be able to care for cats with extreme territorial behaviors or who are not able to take medication relatively easily (determined case-by-case). A meet-and-greet in advance is important for us to make sure we're a good fit!

A typical day

If you have a demanding cat who needs a lot of attention and a reliable routine, I totally get it! I've had a high-maintenance rescue cat for almost 10 years— we're talking about a clingy, vocal, toothless cat that gets bored with dog puzzles and eats wet food twice a day. He's more than just part of our family; he's the king of our house! I've worked with a variety of cats with different personalities through my volunteer work and as a foster parent, and I'm a huge Jackson Galaxy fan (watched countless episodes of MCFH!) You can count on me to show up on time and spend the full amount of scheduled time with your cat, whether that involves playtime, brushing, or just hanging out. On-time feedings and daily litterbox scooping are a given. While I love all animals, I'm currently only accepting cats and their humans as clients, and I'm currently only available for drop-ins.

We are so lucky to have found Avni to care for our cats! We've had trouble finding pet sitters on Rover who really know cats, especially those who need extra attention due to health issues, advanced age, etc. If you need someone who is incredibly detailed oriented and will treat your cat like their own, look no further.
Avni was fantastic! She took care of our cats after an unexpected power outage and was extremely attentive. She spent extra time with our kitties making sure they were happy and comfortable. Our normal shy cat felt comfortable enough to come out and say hello and demand a couple scratches which was amazing. Would highly recommend her to any perspective cat parents.
