“Henri had a great weekend at Paulina’s! She came out to greet us and then took the leash and introduced Henri to her home-he was so comfortable with her from the start. Our dog has hardly been away from us in his 7 years and I was a little nervous about leaving him with someone new, but I soon realized I had nothing to worry about. Paulina is a very relaxed person and sent updates and adorable photos each day. It made me happy to see him look so at home with her. Don’t let her lack of a backyard discourage you-Henri was happy and tired when we picked him up. We will call on her whenever we need a dog sitter for when we visit our daughter in SF. Paulina was an absolute lifesaver and we are so happy to have found her!”

“There is no one I trust more than Martin and Robert to watch Lucius (not even my own family!). They are hands down the absolute best. They take such good care of my 8lb 9 month old Shih Tzu and send updates and photos throughout the day. My pup absolutely loves them and he always comes back to me clean and well fed and brushed. He isn’t the easiest pup to take care of but Martin and Robert always give him the attention he needs and more. I was able to truly have a stress free weekend away because I knew Lucius was well taken care of and loved. When I picked Lucius up after two days away, he had to run back to Martin and Robert to give them a puppy kiss goodbye before we hopped in the car, something I’ve never seen him do! We love spending our free time playing, taking pictures of, and hanging out with the pets we pet sit! I work on a hybrid schedule, going into the office 3 days a week and working from home the other 2 days. Mark works from home every day! If one of us isn’t home, the other is usually at home, so your dog would rarely be alone! We live in a single family home with a large grassy backyard in a quiet neighborhood. The dogs we have boarded love to run around, lay in the sun, and take regular potty breaks in our backyard! We love to walk and run around our neighborhood, frequently visiting Mt. Davidson, Twin Peaks, and Lake Merced! We love it even more when we get to bring dogs with us! NOTE 1: your dog must be crate trained. They may sleep in their crate at night in case of emergencies or at the owner’s request, but we normally allow dogs to sleep with us on the bed! NOTE 2: my parents come over with their 16 year old maltipoo (10 lbs) approximately 3 times a month, so your dog must be okay with other dogs and may meet my parents dog. NOTE 3: We currently board up to 2 dogs at the same time (if my parents’ dog is here, there may be 3 dogs max). If you prefer to have us board only your dog during the time you need, please don’t hesitate to reach out and we may be able to accommodate your dog. NOTE 4: we prefer small dogs, but can make exceptions for medium dogs (up to 30 lbs) on a case by case basis, so please don’t hesitate to reach out! NOTE 5: We don’t accept pee pad trained dogs. Your dog must be house trained. We have a fenced backyard and can let your dog out frequently for potty breaks. NOTE 6: Your dog must be good with young children and have had previous experience with or currently live with young children.

He’s used to being an only fur child at home, but will quickly adapt to a furry guest (human guests are a different matter). During their stay I will take your dog between my homes in sf and napa, where they will hang out as I tend to housekeeping. Your dog will go on at least two daily walks with me and my dog, Sparky. Sometimes we go on outings to the beach or park (where your dog will always be on a leash). I have a fenced yard at both houses. I take dogs for multiple walks per day in the neighborhood or at the park. Your dogs can sleep on the furniture or with us in bed if they enjoy a good cuddle

My two bedroom apartment has plenty of cozy lounging space and I’m just an 8 minute walk from the park, so walks are quick, easy and never feel like a chore. Even when I don’t have a pet with me, I love stepping outside for a little fresh air during breaks, coffee runs or just to stretch my legs. Getting to share that time with a pet by my side is honestly one of my favorite parts of the day.

“Henri had a great weekend at Paulina’s! She came out to greet us and then took the leash and introduced Henri to her home-he was so comfortable with her from the start. Our dog has hardly been away from us in his 7 years and I was a little nervous about leaving him with someone new, but I soon realized I had nothing to worry about. Paulina is a very relaxed person and sent updates and adorable photos each day. It made me happy to see him look so at home with her. Don’t let her lack of a backyard discourage you-Henri was happy and tired when we picked him up. We will call on her whenever we need a dog sitter for when we visit our daughter in SF. Paulina was an absolute lifesaver and we are so happy to have found her!”

They sent videos and photos everyday and ask me questions about Domingo's diet. They also helped with training him not to pull on the leash. They both love dogs and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.”

About: Hi there! I've been a pet owner my entire life. I grew up with cats and dogs of all breeds and I've been caring for pets as long as I can remember. Now, for the first time in my life, I don't have any pets, and honestly, I miss having them around - which is exactly why I'm excited to care for yours! I was active in 4-H and trained Belgian Sheepdogs in positive-reinforcement based obedience. I've owned dogs as small as a Japanese Chin and as big as a Newfoundland, so I understand different dog temperaments and energy levels. I've also been watching friends' and neighbors' pets for several years, including high-anxiety cats, senior dogs, and recent rescues - helping them to feel calm and secure while away from their family. I work from home full-time, so your pet will never be left alone for long. For play time, potty break, and snuggles, I'll be there. I can easily walk dogs multiple times a day and will be around most of the day to keep any dog or cat visiting me company. Sometimes I may pop out for a gym session or grocery run, but that's about it. I mostly just miss having a pet so I'll be so happy to be around yours! I have no pets of my own currently. I live in a secure, quiet apartment. Depending on pet needs and temperament, they can have the run of the apartment or be limited to the main living room (which is where I work). My apartment has no yard but I'm in a great neighborhood for walks and I make sure doggies get plenty of fresh air. Since it is an apartment, if your dog is extremely active and boisterous, they may be happier boarding somewhere with more room to run.

About: Hi! I'm an artist working from home who loves spending time with dogs and cats! I often pet sit for friends, from short visits to boarding for several days, so I’m very comfortable with daily routines like walks, feeding, playtime, and just keeping pets company so they feel safe and happy. I also tend to take way too many photos, so you can expect lots of photo updates while I'm with your pet! I work from home doing freelance work, so my schedule is pretty flexible and I’m able to plan my day around pet care, whether that’s walks, drop-ins, or staying with them for longer periods. I’m available for boarding, house sitting, and walks, and I like keeping a consistent routine so pets feel comfortable and not rushed. I live in an apartment right next to Washington Square Park and Coit Tower, so it’s really easy to get dogs out for nice long walks and some additional short walks to get some fresh air! I also have a 3-year-old cat who’s used to being around dogs. I keep my place clean and calm, and I pay attention to how each pet is feeling so they’re comfortable. I’m also happy to follow any routines or instructions so things feel familiar for them.

They spoiled our dog with two walks a day (I normally only give her one!) and have a fenced in yard for play.
