About: Hello! I’ve been walking and sitting animals for more than a decade, and love making new furry friends. I’ve cared for puppies and older dogs, high-energy and anxious animals. I have a wily, wonderful pug-mix at home who loves a chance to socialize, too. I currently work from home, for myself, so I have room to take on clients in the mornings, afternoons, or evenings. About: I’m a 42-year-old gay dog lover who recently said goodbye to my own pup after 13 incredible years together. Caring for my dog has always been one of the best parts of my life, and I genuinely love getting to know every breed, quirk, zoomie level, and cuddle style out there. Pet care has been part of my daily routine for years. I recently lost my dog after 13 wonderful years together, and before that we took at least three walks a day — everything from quick neighborhood strolls to longer adventures exploring different parts of San Francisco together. I genuinely miss having a little shadow by my side, so caring for and walking dogs still feels like a natural and meaningful part of my everyday life. I love getting to know each dog’s personality, energy, and favorite routines. I focus on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in both my home and theirs. I follow each dog’s routine closely — including walks, feeding, medications, playtime, and cuddle preferences — while giving them plenty of attention, affection, exercise, and calm energy. I also love sending photo updates so owners know their pups are happy and well cared for.

About: I have hands-on experience caring for dogs like my own and a close family dog, both around 2 years old. What sets me apart is the genuine attention and care I give.I treat every dog like they’re my own. I’m patient, responsible, and attentive to each dog’s needs, whether it’s keeping up with their routine, going on engaging walks, or simply making them feel safe and loved. I may not have experience with senior dogs yet, but I’m eager to learn and always committed to providing thoughtful, reliable care. I’m currently studying online (one class only), which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability. I’m generally available throughout the day, ideally between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM. This flexibility allows me to be consistent and reliable for walks, visits, and check-ins, and I can easily adapt to recurring or last-minute needs when possible. At this time, I’m not able to host pets in my own home, so I provide care in the client’s home. I focus on maintaining each pet’s familiar environment, which helps reduce stress and keeps their routine consistent. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully regarding feeding, walks, and house rules. I prioritize safety, respect the home, and make sure pets feel comfortable, calm, and well cared for while their owner is away. My goal is to provide trustworthy, attentive care so both pets and owners feel at ease.

My family has three big dogs that I miss taking care of and am looking to help others take care of (and show some love to) their own dogs! I don’t leave dogs alone much. Dogs that aren’t destructive or prone to dangerous anxious behaviors don’t need to be crated. I have a lot of outdoor space. I’m close to Glen Canyon Park and more. I have a car, so I can get around easily and quickly.

About: Ive grown up with dogs since I was 12 years old in the south. Many of my friends and family have dogs - I always do informal training and give long walks. I’m exploring getting or fostering a dog in the future and wanted to get involved here as a first step! I’m currently searching for jobs so have a lot of flexibility throughout the week. Walks and check ins will be preferred but eventually will consider overnight care. I hope to find regular dog parks for your pup to be known at. I like to understand house rules for your dog(s), places they are most comfortable and places that trigger them. I always make sure there is water available and to lock doors behind me.

About: I am a longtime SF resident (over 25 years) and life-long animal lover (especially dogs). I am semi-retired and truly enjoy taking care of other people’s pets and showing them the kindness and attention they are in extra need of when away from their owners. I have my own 7-year old Australian terrier who is well-trained and exceptionally friendly. I have always loved walking and take my Gracie on long walks and to local area parks everyday (including Dolores Park, which is directly across the street from my home; as well nearby Duboce, Alamo Square Park and others). I’d be delighted to have your small to medium-sized dog join us as one off occasion or on a regular basis. In addition, I also board dogs for overnights and longer stays. While advance notice of a week to several days is preferred, I know unexpected situations can arise and do my best to be available on short notice. I have a car now so I can do pickups and drop offs. I am fully vaccinated as well Below are photos of my dog Gracie and me as well as previous clients. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. I’m more than happy to provide references upon request. I’m currently retired so I’ll have plenty of time to spend with your fur baby, be it doggy day-care or dog boarding. I enjoy taking dogs out for long walks. I provide all dogs with a safe environment. My backyard is fenced in and I can also allow dogs to eat in different areas if necessary. Dogs will be walked every 2 hours.
