My experience administering medication Yes, I have no problem administering medication or injections. I just ask that you give me specific instructions. If you fur-kid needs to be administered injections, I do charge $5 an injection.

About: My entire life I have had pets and cared for other peoples pets. I currently volunteer and foster for an animal rescue and have been doing so for nearly a decade. I have pets of my own and treat everyone else’s pet as if they were mine. I understand positive reinforcement training methods and only use positivity in my practice. It can be stressful to leave our pets, but as a pet owner myself I do whatever I can to make you and your pet more comfortable. Most of my clients take medication and/or are medically needy. About: I have experience with different dog sizes and breeds. My girl who died recently was an American Akita. She lived a full life with me. I know puppy to senior care. I’m available for full-service boarding in my home. I’m open to afternoon and evening walks. I WFH much of the time. My schedule is more flexible than many. I really enjoy outings with dogs. I own my home. It’s a condo. Minimalist decor. Tile floor. Dog-friendly door. Not messy. I welcome your dog bed, toys, and anything else your girl or boy needs. I do have emergency supplies. I don’t leave dogs alone much. Dogs that aren’t destructive or prone to dangerous anxious behaviors don’t need to be crated. I have a lot of outdoor space. I’m close to Glen Canyon Park and more. I have a car, so I can get around easily and quickly.

I currently have a 6-year-old Burmese and Australian Shepherd mix, and over the years I’ve cared for four cats for more than 10 years combined. During the week I work from 10 AM to about 6 PM Monday through Friday. Outside of those hours I am available from 7:30 AM to about 9 AM Monday through Friday. Then on the weekends I’m typically free starting as early as you need me and as late as you need me. I ensure that I maintain my litter for my cats clean consistently washing the litter boxes replacing the litter and showing that I’m scooping at least three times a day. I also feed my cats twice a day and ensure they have a mix of wet food and kibble. For my dog I typically always wake up early in the morning to take him on a long walk and then I typically provide my dog breakfast followed by a treat. I spent a lot of time next to him so I will pet him hug him give him attention simulation. I did ensure that after work when I come home that I walk him at least 30 minutes and ensure that I am checking in on him and feeding him no later than 6 PM every day and then going on another walk after dinner. On the weekends I typically tip my dog on longer walk so we’ll go out and walk for about an hour on Saturday and Sunday I’ll make sure that I keep him away from a high foot traffic area is just to avoid any potential dog interactions that we may not be fully confident in as we don’t know everyone’s pet care routine or nuanced behavior issues. I’m always attentive and patient.

About: Now a mostly retired zoo professional, I have decades of experience in animal care, including having dogs for 30 years and caring for the pets of friends and family.
