About: It is never easy to leave your pup in the care of others while away. I myself have been there many times, missing them and wonder wether they are doing well. I strive to provide the best care I can to ease the stress of my doggie guests and their humans. A big part of creating a good experience is to know their daily routine and what their top needs are. For 7+ years, I opened my heart and home to foster dogs of various age, size, and breed. I learned lot of about caring for dogs and dog behavior. They were a huge part of my life. Currently, I am not fostering dogs, and my own dogs have passed over the years. I work from home with flexible hours, so your pup will enjoy full-time companionship. Your pup's days will be filled with customized exercise, playtime, and careful attention to their dietary routines. With my background in dog behavior and positive reinforcement, your pup will always feel safe, understood, and supported! Pet care is an important part of my daily routine. *Constant Supervision: I work from home with flexible hours, meaning your pet is never left waiting for attention. *Basics: appropriate treats and constantly refreshed water bowls, and a flood of affection are integrated naturally into my daily routine. *Tailored Fitness: Guaranteed minimum of 2 daily walks, adjusted to your dog's needs (from long, athletic trail walks to short, gentle potty breaks). *Routine Preservation: I honor your dog's specific home schedule to prevent any stress or disruption while you are away. I have a fence in yard. My doggie guests can use the doggie door anytime to go outside. They can roam free in the house. I have several dog beds in various parts of the house, so my guests can lounge in any part of the house and enjoy the sun shine. I am very conscious about not leaving food or trash out that my doggies guests can access. Overall, life is peaceful in the house with fun outings to engage them physically and mentally. I follow clients' specific instructions and routines to keep their pets comfortable, safe, and happy while they are away. Their safety and well-being is my top priority.
“Cesar and his husband are a dream for owners looking for care! They are accommodating and so warm-hearted. It's like my puppy was just staying with family. They will be on my short list of preferred caregivers.”

“Gordon and his family took really good care of my Oliver. It was his first time visiting the family and he was there for four hours and seemed very comfortable when I picked him up. I’m looking forward to the next visit.”

About: Pawfect Stay is your dog’s staycation when you go on vacation. You can feel confident that your dog will be a part of my family when they stay with us. About me 20 year dog mom; ~16 years human mom. I live with my husband and teenage son. I am an airbnb superhost (10 years) and have hosted dogs for 5 years (for friends mostly). I can guarantee that your dog will feel loved during their stay. About Sparky Sparky is a feisty westie. He’s 7 and 1/2 years old. He’s used to being an only fur child at home, but will quickly adapt to a furry guest (human guests are a different matter). During their stay I will take your dog between my homes in sf and napa, where they will hang out as I tend to housekeeping. Your dog will go on at least two daily walks with me and my dog, Sparky. Sometimes we go on outings to the beach or park (where your dog will always be on a leash). I have a fenced yard at both houses. I take dogs for multiple walks per day in the neighborhood or at the park. Your dogs can sleep on the furniture or with us in bed if they enjoy a good cuddle
“I highly recommend Jay for your doggy needs. Jay is extremely knowledgeable about dog behavior and is eager to learn more about our furry friends. I have a "special" dog that requires a lot of attention and care, Jay was very communicative and responsive to our questions and concerns with our dog. Jay was willing to work with our dog to determine if she would be a good fit for day care and boarding. If you in need a reliable, responsible, knowledgeable dog care person, Jay is that person. She truly cares and enjoys working with animals.”

“We found ourselves in a predicament upon arriving to San Francisco for a wedding. We thought we had a place for our dog throughout the weekend festivities but due to an illness at that location, we could not take our dog there. I found Sam on Rover.com and she was FANTASTIC. She was very accommodating, and easy to work with. I wasn’t sure exactly what our schedule was going to be but she had no problem helping me cover our dogs needs. Our dog is also blind and she was incredible caring for him. I would not hesitate to recommend Sam for any pet needs.”

About: As a dog parent for over six years I believe pets are our family! Alongside raising my own dog Mazzi, I have spent countless hours caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. My care style balances routine and safety with lots of playfulness and love; I know that dogs feel their best when they know what to expect. I'm also very experienced with anxious dogs and dogs with medical care needs. I offer a safe and loving household and welcome any of your baby's quirks or extra needs :) I worked a hybrid full-time job, in the office Monday and Wednesday. On my work-from-home days I take the pups on a morning, afternoon and evening walk in the park. On the weekends we do the same, unless we go on a hike or to the beach! I live in an apartment one block from Golden Gate Park and the panhandle. My home is very dog friendly - they are allowed on the bed or couch, where ever they are comfortable. I'm happy to abide by any rules you prefer regarding house manners, crate time, etc. We have 1 dog in the house - my 6-year old female pup Mazzi. She is very submissive and loves other dogs.
“Danica was a dream to work with! She was flexible, professional, and a great communicator. Biscuit can be a little bit nervous with new sitters, but she clearly put him at ease with her kindness and calm energy. She sent tons of updates, photos, and videos. I felt completely comfortable leaving my dog with Danica and will absolutely return to her in the future.”

“We are so happy we found Deb and Nicholas! Our dog came home so calm and happy. They sent lots of pictures and updates. We can’t wait to see them again”

“This was my first time leaving Matcha with someone that wasn't a family/friend, and Vivian made the entire experience very positive, which gave me peace of mind my fur baby was in great care. Vivian's home is ideal for daycare and boarding, she's professional, sincere and was very sweet with Matcha. Loved the photo & video updates of Matcha making himself at "home" with Vivian and her dog. I would definitely trust her to watch Matcha again. Thanks so much Vivian!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - West Of Twin Peaks
We've had an amazing experience with Gordon and Allison. We have an anxious rescue pom with incontinence that's controlled via medication. She has to go potty more often than most pups due to her incontinence. We're always nervous about leaving her with other folks. When we did our initial meet and greet, Gordon shared their process with us and asked a lot of thoughtful questions to get to know us and Rose better. During her first few days and weeks with them, they paid close attention to her and shared details with us on how she was doing, which we truly appreciated. They're very easy going, communicative, and flexible. Rose has now been going to doggie daycare about twice a week (sometimes 3x) for a month and a half. She gets very excited to see Gordon, Allison, and family. She's never been this excited for doggie daycare or boarding. We're so happy that we've found someone who we can trust and who Rose truly enjoys being around. They truly care about Rose and it shows. I feel like it's rare to find someone who cares about your pet as much as you do. Thank you for treating Rose like family!

Tien took care of my best pal Rudy while I was traveling for a conference. She was very flexible and worked with my schedule and kept Rudy all day. He seemed very happy with her because he was fine returning the next day. And she showed him some local sites and shared photos and videos with me. Will definitely ask her to keep Rudy again when I return for another trip. :)

We had a wonderful experience Marie Elenore! She was available on very short notice for doggie day sitting and was incredibly responsive and flexible, including with our later pickup times. She sent us lots of photos and videos throughout the day. Most importantly, Archie seemed completely comfortable and happy with her home. We’d absolutely book with her again!

Gautam took such wonderful care of Mochi today! He took the time to meet her the weekend before at Alamo Park. Sometimes Mochi hides the first visit but she went on a walk and looked very relaxed all day in pictures :). She will definitely be back next time our schedules work out for daycare

Robyn was so flexible and accommodating! We booked with short notice due to some unexpected travel, and we had to drop off super early due to my husband’s work schedule. Robyn was great about it all. Communication throughout the day was excellent and my pup seemed happy and excited the next day to return.
