About: I’ve taken care of young dogs, older souls, as well as cats! My experience is mostly with bigger dogs but I have been entrusted with smaller dogs as well as my friends’ cats. I’m currently working remote, I work east coast hours so I am usually free after 4pm every weekday! I am free weekends for check ins throughout the day as well as overnight boarding. The home I live in has a huge fenced backyard that we frequently use to let dogs roam in freely. I’ve cared for a reactive door previously and it’s lovely to have so that they may play without the pressure of other dogs. NOTE 2: my parents come over with their 16 year old maltipoo (10 lbs) approximately 3 times a month, so your dog must be okay with other dogs and may meet my parents dog. NOTE 3: We currently board up to 2 dogs at the same time (if my parents’ dog is here, there may be 3 dogs max). If you prefer to have us board only your dog during the time you need, please don’t hesitate to reach out and we may be able to accommodate your dog. NOTE 4: we prefer small dogs, but can make exceptions for medium dogs (up to 30 lbs) on a case by case basis, so please don’t hesitate to reach out! NOTE 5: We don’t accept pee pad trained dogs. Your dog must be house trained. We have a fenced backyard and can let your dog out frequently for potty breaks. “We've had an amazing experience with Gordon and Allison. We have an anxious rescue pom with incontinence that's controlled via medication. She has to go potty more often than most pups due to her incontinence. We're always nervous about leaving her with other folks. When we did our initial meet and greet, Gordon shared their process with us and asked a lot of thoughtful questions to get to know us and Rose better. During her first few days and weeks with them, they paid close attention to her and shared details with us on how she was doing, which we truly appreciated. They're very easy going, communicative, and flexible. Rose has now been going to doggie daycare about twice a week (sometimes 3x) for a month and a half. She gets very excited to see Gordon, Allison, and family. She's never been this excited for doggie daycare or boarding. My experience administering medication Yes, I have no problem administering medication or injections. I just ask that you give me specific instructions. If you fur-kid needs to be administered injections, I do charge $5 an injection.

I currently have a 6-year-old Burmese and Australian Shepherd mix, and over the years I’ve cared for four cats for more than 10 years combined. During the week I work from 10 AM to about 6 PM Monday through Friday. Outside of those hours I am available from 7:30 AM to about 9 AM Monday through Friday. Then on the weekends I’m typically free starting as early as you need me and as late as you need me. I ensure that I maintain my litter for my cats clean consistently washing the litter boxes replacing the litter and showing that I’m scooping at least three times a day. I also feed my cats twice a day and ensure they have a mix of wet food and kibble. For my dog I typically always wake up early in the morning to take him on a long walk and then I typically provide my dog breakfast followed by a treat. I spent a lot of time next to him so I will pet him hug him give him attention simulation. I did ensure that after work when I come home that I walk him at least 30 minutes and ensure that I am checking in on him and feeding him no later than 6 PM every day and then going on another walk after dinner. On the weekends I typically tip my dog on longer walk so we’ll go out and walk for about an hour on Saturday and Sunday I’ll make sure that I keep him away from a high foot traffic area is just to avoid any potential dog interactions that we may not be fully confident in as we don’t know everyone’s pet care routine or nuanced behavior issues. I’m always attentive and patient.

I’m attentive to each pet’s individual personality and routine, whether they’re a playful puppy who needs extra patience and structure, an energetic dog who loves long walks, or a senior pet who needs gentle care and extra attention. I’m also big on communication and will keep you updated with photos, videos, and regular check-ins so you never feel out of the loop. My goal is for your pet to feel like they’re getting a second home—not just a sitter. I work a 9-5 during the week but work from home Mondays and Thursdays with plenty of flexibility. I’m home most of the time from Friday night through Sunday night as well. I typically don’t stay out all day and will be home about every 4 hours or so at most. The days that I work in the office I leave the house at 8:15 and get home by 6pm. I have a fenced yard and also live just a few blocks away from the beach. In my past experience, the dogs I’ve cared for have always enjoyed walks and jogs by ocean beach. Pets are allowed on my furniture and are allowed to explored the bedrooms, kitchen, den and back yard. I provide a safe, calm, and pet-friendly environment where pets can feel comfortable and cared for. I carefully follow each pet’s routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, medication, and any special instructions. I always supervise pets, keep doors and gates secure, and make sure they have a clean, comfortable space to relax. I also communicate with pet parents throughout the stay with regular updates, photos, and videos so they can feel confident their pet is safe and happy.
