“Can’t thank these fearless guys enough! I really appreciated them taking on my puppy for the day so I could take an exam. They took care of my sweet but handful of a 11week border collie/Aussie mix. I know he wasn’t easy and even had some accidents. I felt so bad but they were incredibly nice and understanding. True dog lovers and kind to the owners too :)”

“Martin and Robert were fantastic! Super quick to respond to our request and messages. They were flexible about the drop off time as we were running late. Most importantly, they send us so many photos and updates about our fur baby during the stay. We could tell Bambi was one happy dog when she came home! We will definitely be using Martin and Robert again in the future.”

“Bruce was very communicative and went above and beyond to accommodate Ziggy’s quirks. He has a big yard which is great for all dogs to play. Also, Ziggy never eats on day one at a new place but he ate his meal on day 1 with Bruce.”

“David was great with Kuma! They went on a long walk and David sent us pictures throughout the day. Kumas generally a shy dog but he seemed to warm up by the end of his first visit”

“Matthew was super friendly and welcoming to Dottie. She befriended his two friendly pups as well. Matthew was very communicative and sent lots of pictures sans videos. Much appreciated!!”

“Jennifer is awesome and we highly recommend her! Our family is new to the Bay Area and we were nervous about leaving our pup with someone new. But Jennifer sent lots of photos and updates to put our minds at ease. Bear got to visit Fort Funston with her crew and her house is perfect for a pet that loves other dogs and exercise. We will absolutely be rebooking her services!”
“Nadia watched our dog Ollie the other week and did an awesome job! She was really attentive to our dogs needs, and kept us updated on how he was doing throughout his time with her. He definitely seemed like he had enjoyed himself when we picked him up. We will definitely be bringing Ollie back to Nadia in the future!”
“Our golden retriever Corey had such an amazing time with Lauren! She kept us updated throughout the day on their walks, snuggle sessions, and playtime, and was prompt and super organized during pickup and dropoff. We have another stay with Lauren booked in a couple weeks- Corey can’t wait!”

“Marlowe absolutely loved Chris! To the point where he would start howling at the door when he arrived! Chris was very flexible on timing and pick up/drop off. He was pretty responsive and communicative. We will definitely be using Chris again!”

“First and foremost, I would like to thank you both, Sam and Venkat for your flexibility in accommodating my uncertain schedule and unforeseen circumstances. I am forever grateful! As a true hound, my dog howls in joy when he sees them. It is clear they are animal lovers and take their responsibilities quite seriously. Their relaxed energy and knowledge are transparent when we meet, and I trust my dog is in safe hands. I couldn't be happier with having met them! Thank you so much!”

About: I originally pursued veterinary medicine and earned a B.S. in Veterinary Technology, which gave me hands on training in animal behavior, health monitoring, safe handling, and basic medical care. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments and have experience recognizing stress signals, administering medications, and maintaining calm, structured environments. I provide attentive, reliable care and treat every pet like my own , whether that means long walks, playtime, and most importantly making sure they feel safe and relaxed while you’re away. I’m a special education teacher currently on a loose WFH schedule. I have two dogs who I tend to all day, including but not limited to 1 hour walk in Golden Gate Park, and usually a trip to the beach. My two dogs were victim to a tragic pet sitting stay some may have heard of in SF this past holiday season. Luckily, they survived. It is my goal to right the wrongs of those sitters and provide peace of mind and safety for your pets. Alongside my experience in the classroom, I spent 5+ years working in an animal hospital. I’m extremely aware of the importance of environment and structure. I make sure to create and maintain a peaceful environment (also for myself) and the little ones always benefit from such.

“Betty has been so incredible with Toby. He adores her and she treats him with such care as if he were her own. Very grateful to Betty — she has helped me adjust to a new job and city by taking care of Toby when I’m at work! Thank you!”

About: Drop off your dog carefree at our quiet home in Twin Peaks! They'll spend the visit being cared for by my wife and me, who both grew up with and absolutely love dogs. They'll also find an eager best bud in our 5-year-old Samoyed, Misha. He is supremely friendly and loves welcoming new members to the pack in all shapes and sizes - happy to play if your dog is keen, but understands boundaries if they prefer distance. We'll plan to follow Misha's normal routine with your pup, but are always flexible for specific needs or requests that may differ: - Wake up around 7-8am - On-leash neighborhood walk for ~15-20 min, lots of sniffs - Breakfast - Afternoon adventure, 45-90 minutes, with off-leash periods for exercise at any of several nearby parks/trails (may include brief car ride) - Dinner 5-6pm - Nighttime potty walk, just before bed - Bedtime ~10:30-11pm Of course, rest time and indoor play (tug, scent games, etc.) will be sprinkled throughout as needed. Weekends may include even longer outings and we'll bring your pup along for whatever you feel comfortable allowing - car rides, beach visits, park days and general SF out-and-aboutedness. When you pick up your best friend, they'll be safe, happy, all tuckered out...and looking forward to their next visit! Note: we require a meet-and-greet to get to know you and your pup before approving any booking requests. We can't wait to meet your pup! We know a bored dog is a naughty dog, so we do our best to make sure your dog is supervised and engaged throughout the day. One of us works from home, so are available to host throughout the week. We have a large two-bedroom apartment on the second floor, so one flight of stairs is required. Misha has free roam at night and while home alone; we can allow yours the same, or otherwise can crate them if advisable.
“Renee and Christopher are wonderful. My senior dog loves going to stay with them. They are loving and kind and accommodating to my dog’s eating needs. It is such a relief to know our dog Jeffrey is in good hands when we are away. They provide me with photos and anecdotes throughout the day.”

“Mengying did a great job taking care of our dog Maple! She took her on great walks and to some local parks. She also shared a ton of great photo and video updates. She was easy to coordinate pick up and drop off with - I really appreciated her timing flexibility!”

Twin Peaks dog parents share their Rover experiences
My pup stayed with Jayern for the first time and had the best time! Jayern is responsive, transparent, friendly, and knows A LOT about dogs and how to read them. A huge bonus is a set of high-quality adorable photos of the dogs at the end of the visit. We look forward to bringing our pup to Jayern again.

This is our second time having Lily watch our young puppy for daycare. Our dog can bark and be scared at first of new people, but you can tell by the end she was totally comfortable. Lily has been very understanding of our young puppy and took her out for lots of potty breaks. We would recommend!

Bruce reassured me that my shy and skittish golden was in great care. I was worried he wouldn’t get along since he doesn’t usually like new people or other dogs. As Bruce updated me throughout the day letting me know he was doing well, it honestly surprised me and made me feel so reassured. Bean stayed with Bruce for three days, and as the days went by, he was running out of the car and ready for daycare!

We couldn't have asked for a more optimal experience with Johnny. He responded extremely quickly both before and during our pup's time with him, made sure he fully understood her needs and quirks, and updated us with pictures during her daylong visit with him. His location close to some of SF's best doggy areas is hard to top. We will absolutely use him again.
