“Anthony was one of the best dogsitters I’ve connected with through Rover. He has been super clear with communication, very flexible/accommodating of Fluffy’s needs and my schedule, and most importantly, took super good care of Fluffy. She’s a high maintenance dog that barks a lot, but I could tell immediately that Anthony is very confident in taking care of all kinds of dogs in all situations.”

“Eleanor was super communicative and took the best care of Lani! She also took Lani in for day care super last minute and was flexible with timing, which I really appreciated. 10/10 recommend!”

“Jayern has been very respectful, responsive and dependable thus far. A meet and greet was arranged prior to our first day care session, which made me feel much more comfortable. My dog had a great first day, and I received wonderful photos and a report as promised. My dog Sassy, and I, are very much looking forward to her next stay!”

“We found Cesar last minute and messaged them! They were flexible with our drop off time & pick up! Cesar & his husband were very nice and we were so happy we left our Bella with them!! Very clean and welcoming!! Highly recommend!!”

“Not our first time leaving KiKi with Kira. Our dog can be feisty, but Kira has a calming effect on her. She’s also very responsive communicating with us. All this helps us relax in knowing KiKi is in good hands.”

“We are so grateful for Bruce! He took great care of our little puppy, he sent a bunch of pictures to keep us up to date, which really helped me not worry about anything. I knew that Ellie was in good hands! We will definitely book Bruce regularly going forward!”

“Maria provided excellent care for Oxy during his daycare appointment. Her professional, communicative, and confident manner immediately put me at ease. I especially appreciated her thoughtful questions at drop-off and the detailed feedback she shared at pick-up. Oxy seemed relaxed and content, and his meeting Daphne (the sweetest dog!) was a fun bonus. We look forward to working with Maria and seeing Daphne again!”

“Cynthia and her family were the best. Very accommodating and easy to communicate with. She sent us multiple pictures and videos throughout the day which made me feel at ease. I was so happy to see that Amaru had fun and enjoyed his stay. Will definitely book with Cynthia again and am so happy to find a new dog sitter for Amaru close to home. Thank you so much for everything!!”

“Lei is great!!!! Her and her family are extremely friendly, warm, and accommodating. I felt very comfortable leaving my pet with her. The location is lovely; a perfect place for dog walks. Can't wait to use her again!!!”

“Ms Shanice is a very gentle person. My doggie seems she had a great time at her place. Also her doggie is the perfect assistant!! It was the first time for our doggie to stay in the dog day care or with someone else, but our family is very happy that Ms. Shanice could help our doggie for the new experience.”

About: I'm a communications professional for 30 years now, so it comes natural for me to share with pet owners every milestone of any day they're apart from their pets and trusting me with their care. For 20 years, I've cared for my friend's dogs, cats, and chickens in the Bay Area just for the fun of it. Now I'd like to open my experience and hope it will lead to more travel when I retire in a few year. Also, I have a veterinarian friend on speed dial. I've never had to call in an emergency. But I could! I work from home most days. I write, so I sit at my desk and I don't move much. I love having a cat on the desk or a well-exercised dog in their bed waiting for my next move. I go downtown twice a week, but I have a retired neighbor who volunteers at Animal Control and the SF Zoo who is nuts about dog-walking to fill-in for noontime walks. I like to treat all pets like they're my own, with a little extra in an auntie kind of way. I am an expert Kong-stuffer and a tug of war extremist, with a nice car that I don't mind getting hairy or muddy. Poo and litter are not things I shy away from. I love the smell of pet feet.

About: I live in an apartment in Pacific Heights with my shih-tzu-poodle pup Bubba. Both Bubba and I are used to having other pups around as I fostered dogs for two years and started sitting on Rover in June 2014. Fostering has given me experience with more difficult dogs as well as senior dogs. Staying at our home means lots of attention with regular walks and trips to the park. I can also keep you up to date with puppy pics and videos, as well as daily check-ins. If you have questions or want to learn more please message me. Thanks! Sara Why I love dog sitting I grew up with dogs, but I adopted my first dog in 2002. I found and adopted my dear sweet Bubba in 2010, and after some training classes and lots of work on socialization, he has come out of his shell and has grown into a well adjusted friendly pup who loves other dogs and people. Both Bubs and I love having visitors that bring new energy and new personalities to our home. Our routine: My dog gets two walks a day, 7am-ish and 4pm-ish, and an early afternoon break to get out of the house and get moving. We take nice slow relaxing walks (Bubs is a senior), so everyone get's plenty of time to take in the smells. I care for all pets like they are my own; with love and respect. I generally try not to leave dogs on their own, in particular on their first night when they are likely to be more anxious. If I step out, I won't be gone longer than 4 hours.
“Couldn’t speak more highly of Tiffany. She was always on time and willing to work with me on my ever changing schedule. I could tell she really loved caring for my doggie. As my dog would often cry on the way home and jump for joy on the way there. If you need a dog setter that will care for your fur baby as much as you do yourself Tiffany is your best option. Would highly recommend!!!”

“I was so glad to find Daniele’s Doggy Day Care. I just needed childcare while I got my hair done in the city. It looks like my Riley had a lot of fun with her little doggy and I appreciated her flexibility with timing since I wasn’t sure how long I would be. I will definitely use her again in the future!”

“Heidi is a truly exceptional dog sitter!! So caring, compassionate! She’s so gifted with dogs. My Ziggy loved her right away and she clearly adores him as well! HIGHLY recommended!!!”

“Mikele did a great job with my senior dog Sandy. She was kind, communicative, and took lots of pictures. This was my dog’s first time doing doggy daycare. Mikele provided wonderful care and answered all of my questions.”

“There’s was so accommodating, even despite my last minute request. She was so sweet with Elvis who warmed up to her immediately. I will definitely be requesting again.”

Tien took care of my best pal Rudy while I was traveling for a conference. She was very flexible and worked with my schedule and kept Rudy all day. He seemed very happy with her because he was fine returning the next day. And she showed him some local sites and shared photos and videos with me. Will definitely ask her to keep Rudy again when I return for another trip. :)

Maria provided excellent care for Oxy during his daycare appointment. We look forward to working with Maria and seeing Daphne again!

Nala had an amazing time with Diana today! Diana was very communicative and sent lots of photos throughout the day. She was very attentive to Nala and asked a lot of questions leading up to the stay so she was well prepared to take care of Nala. They seemed to have so much fun together, and that’s all I could ask for ☺️ Highly recommend Diana!
