“Another great experience with Jayern...this time for doggy-daycare (please see my earlier in-depth review on Feb. 9, 2019 for dog-boarding)! She is great with my little Hachi and understands ways to help him with his awkward socializing skills. She's super detailed in her report of Hachi's day with her and is super organized! She genuinely cares about each dog in her care and really does take the time to understand each one's needs, temperament, and behavior individually and in a group setting. Jayern is now my go-to sitter for my furbaby and highly recommend her to others!!!”

“My dog had a fantastic time staying with Cynthia! Very fast response time, thoughtful care and a nice home. Appreciate all the pictures. My dog will be looking forward to future stays! A+”

“Thank you 🙏 Lei for watching our fur baby! Thank you for feeding him during his picky meal times 😅 and giving him love and exercise and thank you for being flexible with the scheduling! We appreciate you ❤️”

“Anthony was one of the best dogsitters I’ve connected with through Rover. He has been super clear with communication, very flexible/accommodating of Fluffy’s needs and my schedule, and most importantly, took super good care of Fluffy. She’s a high maintenance dog that barks a lot, but I could tell immediately that Anthony is very confident in taking care of all kinds of dogs in all situations.”

“Couldn’t speak more highly of Tiffany. She was always on time and willing to work with me on my ever changing schedule. I could tell she really loved caring for my doggie. As my dog would often cry on the way home and jump for joy on the way there. If you need a dog setter that will care for your fur baby as much as you do yourself Tiffany is your best option. Would highly recommend!!!”

“Gordon and his family took really good care of my Oliver. It was his first time visiting the family and he was there for four hours and seemed very comfortable when I picked him up. I’m looking forward to the next visit.”

“We found Cesar last minute and messaged them! They were flexible with our drop off time & pick up! Cesar & his husband were very nice and we were so happy we left our Bella with them!! Very clean and welcoming!! Highly recommend!!”

About: I live in an apartment in Pacific Heights with my shih-tzu-poodle pup Bubba. Both Bubba and I are used to having other pups around as I fostered dogs for two years and started sitting on Rover in June 2014. Fostering has given me experience with more difficult dogs as well as senior dogs. Staying at our home means lots of attention with regular walks and trips to the park. I can also keep you up to date with puppy pics and videos, as well as daily check-ins. If you have questions or want to learn more please message me. Thanks! Sara Why I love dog sitting I grew up with dogs, but I adopted my first dog in 2002. I found and adopted my dear sweet Bubba in 2010, and after some training classes and lots of work on socialization, he has come out of his shell and has grown into a well adjusted friendly pup who loves other dogs and people. Both Bubs and I love having visitors that bring new energy and new personalities to our home. Our routine: My dog gets two walks a day, 7am-ish and 4pm-ish, and an early afternoon break to get out of the house and get moving. We take nice slow relaxing walks (Bubs is a senior), so everyone get's plenty of time to take in the smells. I care for all pets like they are my own; with love and respect. I pay close attention to their needs and behavior to ensure they feel safe and happy. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Doggie bed or in a crate if provided by parent. (Or with me if that's what your dog prefers). Time I'll spend with your dog I work from home. I generally try not to leave dogs on their own, in particular on their first night when they are likely to be more anxious. If I step out, I won't be gone longer than 4 hours.
About: I'm a communications professional for 30 years now, so it comes natural for me to share with pet owners every milestone of any day they're apart from their pets and trusting me with their care. For 20 years, I've cared for my friend's dogs, cats, and chickens in the Bay Area just for the fun of it. Now I'd like to open my experience and hope it will lead to more travel when I retire in a few year. Also, I have a veterinarian friend on speed dial. I've never had to call in an emergency. But I could! I work from home most days. I write, so I sit at my desk and I don't move much. I love having a cat on the desk or a well-exercised dog in their bed waiting for my next move. I go downtown twice a week, but I have a retired neighbor who volunteers at Animal Control and the SF Zoo who is nuts about dog-walking to fill-in for noontime walks. I like to treat all pets like they're my own, with a little extra in an auntie kind of way. I am an expert Kong-stuffer and a tug of war extremist, with a nice car that I don't mind getting hairy or muddy. Poo and litter are not things I shy away from. I love the smell of pet feet.
“Eleanor was super communicative and took the best care of Lani! She also took Lani in for day care super last minute and was flexible with timing, which I really appreciated. 10/10 recommend!”

“Sam did a fantastic job caring for our 7 month old puppy! She clearly knows a lot about how to work with dogs and puppies. She was extremely communicative and sent us several photos and videos. Thank you, Sam!”

“Mikele did a great job with my senior dog Sandy. She was kind, communicative, and took lots of pictures. This was my dog’s first time doing doggy daycare. Mikele provided wonderful care and answered all of my questions.”

“Maria provided excellent care for Oxy during his daycare appointment. Her professional, communicative, and confident manner immediately put me at ease. I especially appreciated her thoughtful questions at drop-off and the detailed feedback she shared at pick-up. Oxy seemed relaxed and content, and his meeting Daphne (the sweetest dog!) was a fun bonus. We look forward to working with Maria and seeing Daphne again!”

“Shanice was amazing with Chevalier as this was his first time he was a bit anxious/shy but she worked with him and he opened up. I loved getting progress updates/photos atonsee that he was happy :) I’m so happy that we booked with Shanice!”

“Saige has been amazing with Kuma both times that we booked with her! She is attentive and communicates well, and very flexible as well! We love booking with Saige and know that our dog is in good hands with her!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Parkside
We've had an amazing experience with Gordon and Allison. We have an anxious rescue pom with incontinence that's controlled via medication. She has to go potty more often than most pups due to her incontinence. We're always nervous about leaving her with other folks. When we did our initial meet and greet, Gordon shared their process with us and asked a lot of thoughtful questions to get to know us and Rose better. During her first few days and weeks with them, they paid close attention to her and shared details with us on how she was doing, which we truly appreciated. They're very easy going, communicative, and flexible. Rose has now been going to doggie daycare about twice a week (sometimes 3x) for a month and a half. She gets very excited to see Gordon, Allison, and family. She's never been this excited for doggie daycare or boarding. We're so happy that we've found someone who we can trust and who Rose truly enjoys being around. They truly care about Rose and it shows. I feel like it's rare to find someone who cares about your pet as much as you do. Thank you for treating Rose like family!

We had a wonderful experience Marie Elenore! She was available on very short notice for doggie day sitting and was incredibly responsive and flexible, including with our later pickup times. She sent us lots of photos and videos throughout the day. Most importantly, Archie seemed completely comfortable and happy with her home. We’d absolutely book with her again!

Alina was great with Moose. She's also responsive, kind, and accommodating. I'm generally anxious leaving my baby (because shes big and sensitive), but Alina sent me pics and updates throughout Moose's stay which made me feel so much better. I'd use Alina again and recommend her for your pup's doggy daycare.

Go was AMAZING!! He did a great job with our corgi Maui. We knew that our dog would be safe and cared for. He was great at communicating, sent us frequent pictures which we really appreciated. We would 10000% trust Go to take care of our dog. Thank you soooo much 🙂

Vivian is super professional, organized and great with communication. She sent me a questionnaire to fill out beforehand to make sure all of my pup's needs were able to be met. Her resident dog Roman is a big sweetie whose playful energy matched my dog well. Vivian sent me photos and videos throughout the day of them playing together in their fenced-in backyard space and cuddling together in the dog bed area indoors. So glad my pup has made a friend!
