Even though I was on a mountain with poor phone service and wasn't able to respond, they sent consistent and many photo and video updates which I really appreciated. About: Hiiii! I've been a dog owner all of the 24 years I've been alive! I had three golden retrievers growing up (I trained two of them), and I adopted my own dog at 19 while I was working in Alaska, a husky/greyhound mix. I'm extremely active, and I take my dog on hikes pretty much every day. I'll be happy to bring your dogs along with us! We also go to the beach or the dog park in Stern Grove, sometimes every day, so that they can run free for at least an hour, usually more. What sets me apart from other sitters is definitely how much exercise your dog will be getting. After a long day of play, the best way to unwind is to curl up on the couch and watch tv... your dog will be welcome to sit wherever I sit! I prefer if you don't bring their own bed, as sometimes dogs get really territorial, and I like to avoid those situations. They're welcome to sleep on my own bed <3 I totally understand the struggle that is finding affordable pet care, so please please reach out if you're in a tight spot and we can try to adjust my prices so that it works better for you! It really brings me so much joy to be around animals so whatever you can pay would be awesome! I work every day at a gym from 1:15-5:15pm. Outside of that, I'm available for dog walking and drop-ins, as well as boarding as long as they’re okay staying at home with my dog during that time. There’s backyard access for the dogs while I’m gone. More than enough exercise is my goal for every day. I have a fenced back yard, but we spend a lot of time out and about on trails, the beach, or the park. I always make sure food and water bowls are full so that they can eat and drink when they please, but if your dog has a specific feeding schedule, I'd be happy to follow that!

They went on multiple walks a day to different locations and Laura always kept us updated on the fun things they were able to do. “William and Carol are amazing! I needed a last-minute sitter for a week and they were both so kind and flexible in setting things up. They were generous at the meet and greet, patiently coaxing Axel for over an hour with gentle attention and high quality treats. My sweet boy has some trauma from his previous owners, and they were both very understanding and adept at making Axel comfortable during his stay. Even though I was on a mountain with poor phone service and wasn't able to respond, they sent consistent and many photo and video updates which I really appreciated. They treated Axel as good as if he was their own, and I couldn't have asked for a better couple to watch Axel. I highly recommend them to anyone, esp if your pup needs a little extra care! About: I've owned dogs most of my life and currently have a young Boxer/Doberman mix named Ruby. Training, exercise, and structure are a big part of our daily routine, so I'm comfortable with energetic dogs, puppies, and reinforcing good habits. I pay attention to the details and treat every dog like they're my own. Pet care is already built into my day. My dog gets regular walks, playtime, and training sessions, so caring for another dog fits naturally into my routine. I work from home and can provide plenty of attention throughout the day. In my house I have fenced yard and have a lots of space for playing inside too. I only host one dog at a time so I can give your dog plenty of attention, and care. I try to keep things as close to your dog's normal routine as possible. I'll follow your instructions for feeding, exercise, medications, and sleeping arrangements, and I'll send updates so you know how things are going. My goal is to make your dog feel comfortable and make your time away stress-free.

We were nervous as it was our first time leaving her, but she warmed up to Kara, Val and their adorable daughter Mae quite quickly! Kara was great about sending updates and photos and made us feel secure, at ease and able to enjoy our time away. Cannot recommend them enough 🐶😁”
