“Wei is such a caring and attentive sitter! She took care of our cat and sent amazing and cute pics of her, very dilligent in making sure her food, water and litterbox were all taken care of. Would highly recommend!”

About: I've been around animals my whole life. I had a cat growing up, and pet-sat dogs since middle school. I have experience handling medication and working with animals that need a little extra patience and attention. My partner and I love to take long walks in the Outer Sunset, and it is even better when we can do that walk with a loving dog we find on Rover. As a person who works in research, I treat every pet's care seriously. Not just with love, but with the same curiosity and attention to detail I bring to my work. This summer, I have a flexible schedule because I am taking online asynchronous summer classes and working small part-time jobs here and there. Morning walks are always my favorite, as I am a morning person, but I am open to anything! As a person whose cat is so important to them, I put an emphasis on following the pet parent's desires for how I take care of their pet. A part of pet sitting is finding ways to get the pet parent to not have to worry, so I will always make sure the pet is well taken care of and be easily accessible.
“Dave folllows our senior dog’s needs well. He really enjoys his work. He sends great updates. And is very caring to our dogs. Given enough time they’d want to go home with him!”
About: I’ve always had an interest in animals. In high school I worked at a vet grooming establishment. I’ve worked at PETCO dog grooming. I’ve house sat and walked dogs on a daily basis for my sisters two rescue dogs for the last few years. I have taken them to the vet, given them medication, bathed and groomed them. We have gone on little excursions to Fort Funston, as well as the dog park. I enjoy taking care of them so much. They bring me so much joy. ** Willing to host dog or cat siblings. I live very near to Ocean Beach and look forward to taking dogs for long walks there! I’m hoping to make this my full-time job so I’m open for any availability. I am eager to get started, and can’t wait to meet your four legged friend. And you of course.! 😃 I live very near to Ocean Beach and hope to take your dog on nice long walks along the beach. If I am caring for your cat, I will have all the necessary equipment to do so. Litter box, food, water bowl, etc. I also have invested in some equipment for bathing and grooming dogs such as clippers, a hair dryer, shampoo, and conditioner. If that’s something you would like as well.
About: I’m a veteran volunteer at SPCA’s around the Bay Area, with more than 5 years of experience. My cat has also gone through a plethora of problems from fleas to chronic diarrhea to tapeworms. My animal senses tingle at the smallest change from the norm and I will be sure to communicate any and all issues to you so you don't fret over your baby :) I have a full work from home job so I will have plenty of time to play with and take care of your fur baby! With a flexible schedule, I can provide the attention and care your furry friend deserves throughout the day. Your pet won't just have a sitter; they'll have a companion who's readily available for play and companionship I notice the smallest things so I can ensure your feline friend or canine companion receives personalized care during my cat and dog sitting services. From secure play areas to attentive monitoring, every detail is crafted with their well-being in mind. Your pets are not just guests; they're family, and their safety is my top priority.
About: Hi there! I grew up caring and raising for 5 dogs up until I went to college. During COVID my family and I adopted a Doberman/German Shepherd puppy from a rescue and I spent the next 2 years caring and training him before I moved back to SF. I adopted a Goldendoodle puppy, Barley, about 3 years ago. Raising a puppy on your own is not easy, but I've learned a lot! My own pup is anxious and takes time to warm up to strangers and other dogs. I've worked hard to combat his reactivity through training and am proud to say we have made lots of progress. I am truly a dog lover and deeply care for any dog that comes my way. Throughout my time with my own dogs, I have also looked after my family & friend's pups as well. I have a great understanding on how to care for dogs from their puppy stage, into their teens phase, then into their senior years. With my past experiences with many dogs, I feel well equipped to help take care of pups of all ages, sizes and behavioral quirks. I currently have a hybrid full-time work schedule! I am typically in the office on Tues/Thurs and am available in the evenings after work. I work from home on the other days. My personal schedule is very flexible so I am more than happy to chat through schedules to see what works for you and your pup! I will always suggest a meet and greet before confirming a booking to ensure that you and your pup are both comfortable with me! I will take detailed notes on how you'd like me to spend a drop-in visit or walk with your dog. Your dog's needs will be met and I will make sure they have some fun at the same time.
“Joseph did a great job with my cats and even got one of them to warm up to him a bit about halfway through (both of my cats are very skittish). He kept my place neat and tidy while I was away, too. I will continue to utilize his services as much as he is available!”

“Allison was fantastic with our cat Harriet! We wanted Harriet to be kept company while we went on a trip, and she warmed up to Allison right away. Allison was punctual each visit, and kept us up to date with everything. Highly recommended!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs ranging from short visits to nearly 2 months at a time, including watching two dogs simultaneously. Comfortable with multiple dogs at once and experienced with longer stays I’m a college student home for the summer so I have a very flexible schedule and can give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m available for most services and can work around whatever routine works best for you and your pet I treat every pet like my own and make sure they feel comfortable and at ease. I have a cat at home so I’m experienced with pets in a home setting. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you always know how your pet is doing. Overnight stays are available up to 3 days at my place
“Emily was very easy to work with, kind and sweet. She came 2x a day as scheduled and provided photo updates (which we really loved, as it was our first time leaving our cats). She won over our more shy cat almost immediately, which is a bonus!”

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs since I was very young and have always loved it. Caring for animals is a huge passion of mine, and I’m very enthusiastic to help out others! I am very busy with work and school, but please still reach out as there are certain times I can make work! I’m happy to help whenever I’m needed as long as my schedule permits :) I care for pets every single day! Growing up with cats, dogs, guinea pigs and chickens has taught me so much about caring for animals. I am very attentive, gentle and understanding when it comes to pet care, and I absolutely never lose my patience. I will ensure the pet or pets are comfortable and feel respected!
“Cameron did an amazing job watching after our pet cat while on a trip. She spent a ton of time with her and provided us with updates and a ton of pictures. I am sure we will book her again for future trips!!!”

“Tanya took great care of our cats while we were out of town! She was very communicative, flexible, and gave our kitties lots of love. We will definitely be booking again.”

About: I have been a pet-sitter for my neighbor's 2 dogs and 3 cats for the past 10 years. I am very comfortable with caring for animals as I have grown up with one lab and two cats. In the past, I've taken care of my own fish, snakes, gerbils, lizards, and hamsters. I've worked on a ranch and have taken care of farm animals too! I love playing with animals and comforting pets as their owners are away. I'm comfortable with all types of behaviors and am not intimidated very easily; I grew up horseback riding and I know how to work with animals experiencing stressful situations. I will always provide the best service to make sure your pets are getting exercise and staying happy and healthy while you are out. I'm very communicative and if a problem arises, I will be sure to communicate the issue if it needs to resolved. I am around to walk all weekday and weekend afternoons after 3-4 pm. I am available to pet sit on the weekends and afternoons after work! I think it is very important when petsitting to make the pet feel as comfortable as possible by going slowly in the beginning with the introduction. I try to not stress any pet out by first observing the pet's behaviors and then will play with the pet or comfort him/her if they are okay with that. It is always fun to play with pets but also I know some pets just want to relax and have more space!
About: I’ve taken care of friends and family pets for a few years and feel comfortable with most sizes and breeds. I love going on long walks with energetic dogs but also appreciate a slower pace. I have plenty of patience and care deeply for pets. I make sure to give them all the cuddles and attention they need. I’m currently working part time and have all my mornings open until noon. I’m also available weekends and for nights over. I’m available for dog walking wether it’s on a regular basis or occasional. I have a large fence yard where dogs can play safely. Dogs can have access to the entire house and there are plenty of space for them to relax, to nap and to cuddle. I love going on long walks with energetic dogs but also appreciate a slower pace. My husband also loves dogs so between the both your dog will get lots of play time, attention and care.
About: Hi! I’ve been caring for dogs for the past four years since moving to San Francisco. I started by helping friends and neighbors with their dogs, and I genuinely love getting to know each dog’s personality and routine. I’m very attentive, detail-oriented, and always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Whether that means sticking closely to feeding schedules, giving extra attention on walks, or making sure they get plenty of playtime and affection, I take pet care seriously and treat every dog like my own. I’m happy caring for energetic dogs, shy dogs, seniors, and pups who need a little extra patience and attention! Pet care fits very naturally into my routine because I work my own schedule and have a lot of flexibility throughout the week. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, feedings, and playtime as needed, and I make sure pets get plenty of attention and consistency while you are away. I enjoy building pet care into my day and always try to be dependable, communicative, and accommodating to each pet’s routine. I focus on providing attentive, reliable care while keeping pets comfortable in their familiar environment. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions. I’m very communicative and make sure to send daily photo updates and check-ins so you always know how your pet is doing. I also respond quickly to messages and am happy to adjust care as needed to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.
“Page is an incredibly kind and thoughtful person. This was evident in action when she came to visit our cats every single time. Her updates were very helpful and she ensured both our cats got sufficient attention, despite their personalities. I will definitely be going back to Page again when we are out of town.”

About: I have cared for dogs of several different breeds, sizes, and energy levels throughout my entire life - I have previously raised a chow chow/shepherd mix and a bichon frise, and my family currently has a shih tzu/pekingese mix and an Alaskan husky). I have experience training and caring for puppies from 8 weeks old, administering medications, and caring for senior dogs. From eight years old, I have been trusted to train, care for, and walk dogs for family members and neighbors. Prices are currently low to start building a solid client base! I currently work as a gymnastics coach, which means I generally work in the afternoons and evenings — therefore freeing up much of my time during the day to help care for your pets while you’re busy! When caring for your furry friends, I am always sure to follow your care instructions very carefully! I understand each animal has their own personalities and preferences, and I trust that you know your pet best. Of course, I always rely on positive reenforcement.
“Eddie was a superlative caregiver for our cat - he was very communicative, showed up on time, was considerate of the care instructions we shared, and took lovely photos. It was an anxiety-free absence because we knew our beloved fur ball was in good hands.”

“Out cat was so well looked after while we were away for 2 weeks! The house was very tidy when we got back, her litter and water were all topped up and her used food bowls were clean. Can’t recommend Emily & Thomas enough! Moira will definitely be seeing you again soon :)”

So thankful we were able to book Seng for three days of daily visits to check in and provide wet food for our older male kitty. The photos and videos she sent of him happy and enjoying her company really helped us not worry as much! She was great to communicate with and even provided updates during her visit. Thank you, Seng!

Jacob is SO courteous, kind and communicative! It is easy to trust him with our little pup, and he makes us feel at ease while we’re away. I’m confident Boog will get thoughtful attention and genuine care when he’s with Jacob. He was an easy “yes” for us to book regular services!

Abigail did a wonderful job taking care of our cat, Owen, for a week we were away. Owen is a senior cat who’s very attached to his humans, and usually does not warm up to strangers easily; but even though it was her first time meeting Owen, Abigail quickly established a rapport with him. She clearly understands cats and enjoys interacting with them. We really appreciated her updates and photos, which helped us to rest easy knowing that Owen was safe and happy during our absence. We would recommend Abigail without hesitation.

Couldn’t have asked for a better first Rover experience. Cameron was a dream to work with from the start and we knew from the first test visit that our cat, Ollie, also liked her. She was responsive, responsible, proactive, and clearly knows cats. Her updates and photos were thorough and kept us assured throughout the trip that Ollie was well taken care of. We would not hesitate to work with Cameron again.
