“Joey was fantastic with our three month old puppy! We are new puppy parents and both nurses so we work long shifts. This was our first time leaving our new puppy home while we both worked a 12 hour shift. She came 3 times, for an hour each time and provided tons of updates. She reinforced training we’ve been working on and made us feel so comfortable leaving him! Will definitely be rebooking again with Joey!”

“Shai did an amazing job sitting our disabled, elderly kitty! She followed our routine and Fiona loved her. Fiona doesn't love many people. Shai communicated well and send pics. We will definitely book with her again!”

“Carmen was fantastic! She took great care of our cat while we were gone. She was attentive and very good with communicating with us about how Dolly was doing. We’ll definitely use her again!”
“Lydia is a wonderful, professional, and caring pet sitter. I know my cats are in good hands with her and I fully trust her. I love the messages and photos she sends us when we’re away from our cats. I recommend her 100%.”

About: Hi, my name is Vy and I would love to have the opportunity to take care of your furry divas 🐾💕! I have pet sat dogs and cats for my friends and family numerous times and grew up taking care of cats. I work full time outside of Rover but would love to spend my weekends taking care of your furry babies. I work full time during the weekdays (typical 9 to 5 in office) and am availability during weekends to give your pets some love and attention. I live in a quiet apartment where your pets are free to sprawl out and enjoy. There are multiple parks within walking distance where I would be happy to take your little ones on an adventure to.
About: I have been taking care of pets since I have memory, I grew up in household of pets, and I am great at following directions and making a great experience for the pets whom spend the time with me. Pet care fits into my daily routine very smoothly because I am home in the afternoon and have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets consistent attention, walks, and care throughout the day. I am typically home by around 4:30 PM, which allows me to dedicate time for feeding, walks, playtime, and check-ins in the evenings. My husband also supports with pet care when needed. He works at a dog care facility and has experience handling dogs in a structured, supervised environment. When his schedule allows (he works split shifts from 6–9 and 4–7), he can also help with transporting or taking dogs to a dog care setting if appropriate for their routine and needs. Together, we make sure pets are always cared for, safe, and never left without attention. We work as a team to provide reliable, loving care and a structured routine that keeps pets comfortable and happy while their owners are away. I provide caring and attentive pet care either in my home or in the client’s home, always following the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and safe. In my home, I live in a spacious apartment with plenty of room for pets to play, relax, and move around comfortably. While I do not have a fenced yard, I make sure dogs get regular walks, outdoor potty breaks, and exercise outside of the home to keep them active and happy. Inside, I create a clean, calm, and pet-friendly environment where they can feel at ease and cared for. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care needs. My goal is always to make pets feel secure, loved, and well cared for, whether they are staying with me or I am visiting their home 🐾
“Genesis took great care of my cat while I was away for the holidays, arrived on time, sent photos, and made it much easier for me to travel without worrying about my cat while I was gone. Would recommend. Thanks!”

“Brooke is an animal lover with a very calm demeanor. She has a wonderful sensibility when it comes to dogs — it shows she used to train them! Poppy loved her immediately. Brooke was thorough in her questions about routine, schedule etc. Brooke is responsible, communicative, and I will definitely be using her again to housesit Poppy and do drop in visits. I felt at ease leaving her in my home with Poppy.”

About: Our family has always loved raising and caring for dogs because they’re part of our family too. We love meeting new dogs and seeing dogs everywhere we go. Our dogs throughout the years have gotten the utmost love, care, and attention—we would do anything for them! You can depend on us to care for your dog since we have the most flexible schedules and crave pup time all the time! Your furbaby will definitely get all the playtime and care (and cuddles) they need. We live in a gated, dog-friendly community where we can walk your dog with peace of mind. Our neighborhood is very quiet—no busy streets. Lots of space and environment to walk around and dogs to meet! We also only host one pet at a time when they board with us so they get all our attention :) We’d love to play with your furbaby as we do have toys too, or just hangout with then if they’re the chill type. They can also hangout in our over-looking veranda to enjoy the view and nice weather.
“It was my first time having Laxmi care for Chicle. Immediately, Chicle took to Laxmi at the meet and greet. She was detail oriented, communicative and I can tell Chicle really was taken care of during her check ins. I am glad to have found a new sitter that I can trust with Chicle :)”

I mostly work from home and will arrange to be at home on days when we are pet sitting. My 10-year-old kid is also very excited to care for your dog with me. The yard is fully enclosed. We have a 14 lb little rescue dog who is very friendly and avoids trouble. Hopefully they will be best friends.
About: Hi there! I'm Diana from San Francisco Bay Area and am located in SF. I have several years of caring for many dogs and cats of various ages here on Rover. I have experience with different needs & accomodations depending on canine or feline. You cant pick anyone more gentle and respectful to sit your pets :D About my pet back round: I've volunteered several times w/the San Francisco Society for the prevention of cruelty to Animals. I've walked dogs and pet sit both cats and dogs for several years. I love animals and when I say they come first, they truly do. A lot of pets get anxious being left with someone new whether its a weekend trip or a week stay. Im happy to let you know though, I am very patient and make sure your beloved fur baby is best cared for 🐶🐱🐈⬛🐕🐈 Open availability 7 days a week. Preferably meet & greets first of course to see if your pet and I the sitter are a good match. Pets are like children and I have a back round in childcare so making sure the critters are safe is my priority. Even if it means staying up with them during a holiday involving fireworks ☺️

Michelle is great! Did a fantastic job watching over our cat Moza with daily visits while we were away for the longest time we had been away from her. Michelle followed all care instructions great and we received daily updates and pics. Really cared for our cat and went above and beyond in communication and play time. Would highly recommend! Thanks very much!

Leaving another review for Hillary because she has been absolutely amazing and so flexible with our kitties for multiple last minute requests! One of our kitties is on chemo and needs multiple meds, and it’s such a relief to have someone as trustworthy, kind, and careful as Hillary to check on him while we’re away.

I recently just moved to the Bay Area and I had to take a trip shortly after, so I got in contact with Shailyng. One of my cats has had health issues in the past related to moving, so I was worried that this would be an issue again. Having Shailyng come over daily and give me an update on their health and wellbeing was a huge reassurance and relief during my trip. Even though they were hiding during their visits she would keep me updated very closely and even worked with my landlord to make sure they were okay.

This was only our second time having Ronja stay with our pups and it truly is like she has been their friend forever with the greetings she gets on arrival. They’re clearly very comfortable around her and are finally able to relax when we are not at home! Thankful for the updates during her stay and her flexibility and kindness in accommodating some timing changes :)

Seng went above and beyond my expectations. I scheduled her to drop in twice a day for my two cats and she showed up on time and was very communicative. She played with and gave them both lots of love despite their different personalities. She genuinely loved them like her own. They were fed, freshly watered, loved on. She even went so far as to do extra chores like water my plants, keep the house tidy, and groom the cats without being asked. She sent lots of photos and videos. They almost seemed disappointed to see me when I came home because she gave them so much attention. Loved working with Seng. I highly highly recommend her as a cat sitter!!

Martha did an incredible job being a dog chaperone for Charlie during our civil marriage ceremony in SF City Hall! We were just doing the quick ceremony then photos for a couple of hours ahead of our bigger international wedding later, but we really wanted Charlie to be involved while not being a distraction to us, the photographer, the officiant, or the few guests we had coming from across the country. Martha did an amazing job keeping Charlie entertained, and she was great at reading the room and knowing when to be close by with Charlie or step away a bit if Charlie seemed to be getting antsy or bored. I didn’t give her any instructions really (definitely could’ve planned better on my part!) yet the whole experience felt smooth because Martha was very attentive to both Charlie’s needs and moods and the overall situation. While Charlie is a huge people person, he can definitely get grumpy and bored being in the same place doing nothing, but Martha kept him in such a good mood that he was smiling and cooperative any time we needed him for pictures. She also took some amazing solo shots of Charlie, which we will treasure forever!

Benjamin was great! It was our first time using Rover and using someone not referred to us. Benjamin was super easy to work with and very communicative. It was our first time leaving our kitty since we moved here and Benjamin was understanding to my nervousness of leaving her and completely reassured me through pictures and his reports. We'll definitely use his services again.
