About: I’m a 42-year-old gay dog lover who recently said goodbye to my own pup after 13 incredible years together. Caring for my dog has always been one of the best parts of my life, and I genuinely love getting to know every breed, quirk, zoomie level, and cuddle style out there. Pet care has been part of my daily routine for years. I recently lost my dog after 13 wonderful years together, and before that we took at least three walks a day — everything from quick neighborhood strolls to longer adventures exploring different parts of San Francisco together. I genuinely miss having a little shadow by my side, so caring for and walking dogs still feels like a natural and meaningful part of my everyday life. I love getting to know each dog’s personality, energy, and favorite routines. I focus on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in both my home and theirs. I follow each dog’s routine closely — including walks, feeding, medications, playtime, and cuddle preferences — while giving them plenty of attention, affection, exercise, and calm energy. I also love sending photo updates so owners know their pups are happy and well cared for.

About: Hey there, San Francisco! A little about me: I've had dogs all my life and my love of animals inspired me to study veterinary nursing in college (Didn't finish, but walked away with skills regardless!). I'm huge on animal welfare, and work like this does my heart wonders, as I hope my services do for you and yours! I've had plenty of experience fostering puppies/dogs, as well as with kittens/cats and other small animals if you are in need of help with them as well. I have done some behavioral training with my own previous dog. I also have experience and tons of patience with special needs animals, so medication, specific accommodations, etc. shouldn't be a problem! In fact, our little buddies that need a little extra help hold a particularly special place in my ❤️ In addition, I hold a certificate in dog CPR and first aid, as indicated in my pictures. Looking forward to making new friends with y'all! My current schedule is somewhat flexible, with a few gigs here and there. Obviously, the more notice I have, the better. But if I can work with you, I most certainly will! I can be an early riser if needed, but generally I wake up around 10 a.m. on average. I mostly stay up pretty late, so there is that too. Howling at the moon, of course 😜 Typically, I prefer to do a meet and greet before booking any of my services. I want to make sure that we both feel comfortable with the arrangement and that I can successfully meet your expectations. The more information I have before booking and before the service begins, the better. You'll see that I am highly communicative and send way too many pictures lol! It's important to me to be fully transparent and to be able to reinforce the trust that has been given to me. I understand the importance of our animals and how preciously we want them to be cared for. Whenever and wherever possible, I always try and go above and beyond. Should you need any services that would involve my home, I live in a studio apartment in The Mission near 25th & Mission. Not a huge space, but definitely not a shoebox either. Big enough for me to feel nice and comfy, with room to spare for visitors, especially yours 😉 I don't have a yard, but I do have a gated back patio. There are some general, common animal care supplies at my place. I'm happy to send some pics if it helps to assess whether what I can offer is adequate for you! Please, ask as many and all questions that you would like. My phone is always on and nearby, should there be anything needed to be communicated. I'm pretty open, I can bend, and whatever the case, if I can, I'm more than happy to work with you with whatever situations or circumstances that might be needed to be taken into consideration. I teach yoga classes, so I am pretty fit and strong, but I generally set my dog size limit at 25 lbs and under. But each situation and dog is different, so again, whenever possible, I'll work with you if I can!

About: I had dogs and cats since i was 9 years old. I believe that we human are animals, and we are privileged to have other animals that love us and depend on us. I’m flexible and in full control of my time. I’m a street, and portrait analog photographer, so I plan everything ahead. I have the luxury of changing my plans if needed. I make sure pets are happy, clean and well fed. I like to play and communicate with them. It makes me happy to be close with them.

About: I am a career estate, family, and lifestyle manager. I’ve spent my life working in high net worth homes and one of my core responsibilities has been to care for the dogs of the people I’ve supported. I absolutely love animals and this was one of my favorite aspects of my work. I have also always had dogs of my own. I am currently a couple of weeks into a new move to the west coast and am on a bit of a work sabbatical but would love the opportunity to just be around and care for some dogs. I have worked with dogs from puppies all the way to senior dogs. I’m very active and love to walk. I’ve trained multiple dogs and dogs are extremely responsive to me. You’d be hard pressed to find an individual who has had the experience that what I bring to the table. I am reliable, independent, discreet, empathetic, enthusiastic, and just adore working with and caring for animals. I am not doing this for a job or for financial gain but because I truly just value my time with dogs. I am currently on sabbatical and loosely looking for new opportunities. My only daily routine is going to the gym. I can fit in dog walking at any point in time as my schedule is extremely wide open. I am currently staying in a place where I cannot host dogs but I have spent the entirety of my career working in private homes. I am very discreet, responsible, respectful, and trustworthy. It is very easy for me to follow the directions of clients and deliver top tier care for their pets.

About: My family have had dogs my whole life and I have experience working with deaf dogs and some limited experience with puppies. Additionally I have taken care of senior dogs on occasion. I am a college student home for the summer so I’m available most weekdays to walk or look after dogs. I am not sure if I will be able to work weekends but I will see later. About: My experience with dogs spans my whole life. I grew up with a labradoodle for 16 years, learning early on how to care for a dog through every stage of life. I've also cared for friends' dogs of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments. My most formative experience, though, was with Oslo, my German Shepherd. Oslo had resource guarding behavior, which meant every day required patience, consistency, and a calm, structured approach. I learned to read his signals, set clear boundaries, and build the kind of trust that made him feel safe — and that made our home feel safe too. Caring for a high-energy, strong-willed breed also meant Oslo needed real exercise and mental engagement, not just a quick walk around the block. That experience shaped how I approach every dog I care for. I don't treat dogs as one-size-fits-all. Some need a long run and stimulation; others need a quiet, low-key environment where they can decompress. I pay attention, I adapt, and I take the responsibility seriously. I work remotely on Mondays and Fridays, which means I have plenty of flexibility during those days for walks, drop-ins, and check-ins. Weekends are when I'm most available, making them ideal for boarding and house sitting. I'm committed to giving dogs the time and attention they actually need — not just fitting them in around a packed schedule. Our home is a calm, pet-friendly space where dogs are welcome to roam comfortably. Our outdoor patio is partially fenced and the size of a small yard, so there's plenty of room to play, explore, and burn off energy. We also have a dog pool we can set up for pups who love the water. Dogs are welcome throughout the home, though we keep furniture off-limits to maintain some structure — something I found works well for dogs like Oslo who thrive with clear boundaries. For house sitting, I treat your home with the same care and attentiveness I'd bring to my own, keeping routines consistent and your dog's environment as stress-free as possible.
