About: I’ve been caring for dogs since 2013 and dogs have always been a huge part of my life. My first pup, Miko was a Pomeranian I adopted as a senior in 2013. He sadly passed away in 2018, but he taught me so much about caring for older dogs and giving them the patience, comfort, and love they deserve. In 2019, I adopted Dash, and it’s been me and him ever since. Through Dash, I’ve also gained a lot of experience caring for a dog with separation anxiety, and I understand how stressful it can be to leave your pup with someone new. Because of that, I’m especially attentive to dogs who struggle when their humans are away. I have a flexible schedule so your dog will never be left alone while in my care. I want them to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for and not like they’ve simply been dropped off somewhere. When your dog boards with me, it will be a team effort between me and Dash! Dash loves having company and if your pup is comfortable and enjoys other dogs, they’ll have a friendly companion to hang out and play with throughout their stay. Of course, I always take each dog’s personality and comfort level into consideration and make sure interactions are safe and positive. My goal is to make your dog feel like they’re having a little vacation of their own while giving you peace of mind that they’re in loving, attentive hands. I’ll treat your pup like family and keep you updated so you never have to wonder how they’re doing! 🐾❤️ I have a flexible schedule so I can give your fur babies plenty of attention and companionship throughout the day. I would feed your dog after their morning walk and night walk unless otherwise instructed. I would take the dogs on a potty break every 4 hours unless otherwise instructed. My dog’s name is Dash for a reason! 🤪 He loves to try to run out whenever he sees a door open and can be a bit of an escape artist. Because of this, I learned to be especially careful when opening exterior doors and making sure the dog is secured before opening the door.
“Sammy was highly responsive and responsible, took good care of our cat, and arrived on time each day. They even went out of their way to make up time that had accidentally been missed. I will be looking to book them for future travel.”

“Sara is an absolutely incredible cat sitter! She was wonderfully communicative throughout the entire process and always sent report cards promptly after every single visit. I especially loved the abundance of photos she shared of Sesame and Peanut playing and having a great time. Being away from them for this long was definitely nerve-wracking for me, but Sara’s thoughtfulness and exceptional care completely put my mind at ease. I cannot recommend her highly enough!”

About: I have a family dog, a Cockapoo, back home in Ireland and have years of experience helping care for her, including walks, feeding, playtime and lots of attention. I absolutely love dogs and really miss having one around! I’m caring, reliable and attentive, and I’d treat your dog like my own. I’m especially comfortable caring for small dogs and smaller medium-sized breeds. I work full-time during the week, but I’m available for dog sitting on weekends and can sometimes accommodate weekday evenings depending on my schedule. I’m happy to discuss what works best for you and your dog. I’ll always follow your dog’s usual routine and any instructions you provide, including feeding, walks and house rules. I’ll make sure they’re comfortable, safe and get plenty of attention, and I’m happy to send regular updates and photos while they’re in my care.
About: Hi, I'm Femke. A lifelong animal lover, I’ve been the go-to pet sitter and dog walker for friends, family, and neighbors for almost a decade. What started as a hobby quickly became something I couldn’t imagine not doing. Now, I’m excited to turn my passion for dogs into a full-time career, preparing for a degree in Cynology (dog behavior) next year. With hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, I’ve developed a calm, patient, and intuitive approach. I’ve walked high-energy pups who need structure and stimulation, cared for seniors who require slower walks and medication, and provided companionship to anxious or shy dogs who just need someone gentle and understanding. I’m confident in handling leash reactivity, administering basic medications, and keeping routines consistent to help dogs feel safe and secure. My focus is always on building trust, so your dog feels comfortable with me, and fully enjoys the time we spend together. I’m studying part-time to prepare for my Cynology (dog behavior) degree next year, and have no other major commitments - your dog gets my full attention. My days revolve around walks, drop-ins, and overnight stays, so I’m available on weekdays, weekends, and (most) holidays. Your pet’s safety is my top priority. I take the time to build trust with each dog, starting with a meet-and-greet to understand their routines, triggers, and preferences. During walks, I always use secure leashes and harnesses and stick to safe, familiar routes. I will not do off-leash unless in client-approved spaces and with your explicit consent. When caring for pets in your home, I maintain your routines, respect your space, and provide real-time updates with photos and notes, so you’re always in the loop. My goal is to give you peace of mind and give your dog(s) the care and companionship they deserve.
“Sebastian was great to work with! They were super nice, great communicator, and did a thorough job every visit. I will definitely be reaching out to them again for future trips.”

“Carolyn is so great with our lab Morty! She’s always very responsive and is flexible with last minute requests and changes! Will always keep her at the top of our list!”

About: I’ve taken care of both dogs and cats throughout my life. Recently, I started taking care of some of my friend’s pets and have gained valuable experience through them. I have taken care of cats of all sizes and energy levels, and have taken care of small-medium dogs. I’m currently working a full-time job from 7-4, but can swing before or after work, and during lunch time for an hour to take care of your pet! I am free weeknights after work, as well as on weekends. I can do drop-in care every 4 hours on weekdays, can stay overnight if needed, and/or can stay all day on the weekends. I do not have pets of my own, and live in a studio apartment so if your pet will be at my home, you will not need to worry about another pet being there. I have some plants that can be put away in a safe place if needed. If I will be staying at your home or doing drop-in care, I will make sure to treat it with respect and leave it how it was when I arrived.

“Polina took time out of her busy schedule to come and meet my large dog to go over important walking and feeding procedure. She was so warm and loving, and put my anxious thoughts to rest when I saw her capabilities to confidently handle my large dog. We will be reoccurring clients, for sure!”

“When I met Joslyn I instantly felt her warm and positive energy. She went above and beyond taking care of my cat Flora. It was not an easy job because Flora has experienced extreme trauma and she is an elderly cat. Where others would have given up, Joslyn was patient and not intimidated by Flora’s stressed demeanor. She took her time and slowly took the necessary steps to ensure she received the care she needed. I appreciated the videos and photos she took during each visit. She even brought in our mail and packages while we were away. I highly recommend her and plan on connecting with her in the future if I need cat sitting.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was a kid! I’ve volunteered at the local animal shelter since high school. I also have my best friend who’s a veterinarian on speed dial as well! I currently work remotely so my schedule is flexible and I’m available on weekends for dog walks and drop in visits. I can do drop in feedings and walks up to 3 times a day during the week and longer time blocks on the weekends. I can only care for pets in the clients home. I’m not allowing to have pets in my apartment. I can make sure they are fed regularly and give lots of love.
“Taylor did an amazing job caring for our two very active dogs and on very short notice. We came home and they were happy and clearly had been out and about, which they need! Thank you for your flexibility Taylor!”

“Thanks Natalie for being so flexible and doing walks and visits! Natalie helped out when my usual dog walker was on vacation for a few weeks. Consistent and great communication.”

About: I was doing Rover in the Washington DC area for a few years and absolutely loved it! I just recently moved to the Bay Area and am ready to pick back up where I left off! Can’t wait to spend time with your doggos :) See schedule below: I work in the office 4 days a week so I am free to walk after from 6-10pm 4 days a week and Friday all day. I’m also free on the weekends for walks, pet sitting, and house sitting! Since I’m new to the city, I love exploring and taking long walks around the local San Francisco neighborhoods and to the nearby parks. The weather has been perfect to get your doggo outside for some exercise and fresh air! I’ve had dogs since I was born and have been helping take care of my (2) family dogs Laila and Colby for as long as I can remember. I’ve also helped out with friends dogs, neighbors dogs, etc. I love dogs and am very patient, active, and fun. I would have one of my own but it’s too expensive right now living in the city. I’m working in the office 4 days and a week and take late night walks to get my steps in and get active outside. I love dogs and started Rover a few years ago on the East Coast. I’d love to have a furry friend to join me on my walks! I live in a one bedroom apartment and would love to have a furry friend to keep me company. I can provide bathroom breaks every few hours, activity time at local parks, lots of cuddles on the couch, and play time at home! I’m flexible to adapt to what the dog needs.
“Maria did such an amazing job taking care of my cat while I was away. She was super communicative and gave great updates and pictures, and gave my cat lots of pets and love--when we came home our cat was happy and in a great mood thanks to Maria's amazing care. Thank you again Maria!”

“Andreya has been an incredible care taker of my elderly cat. She’s been so responsive, left detailed updates and pictures while I’ve been away. This was the longest trip away and her communication has made it even more relaxing knowing Lizzie is in good hands. Will for sure be using her services again in the future!”

About: Hi Friends! I am a lifelong animal lover and have a wealth of experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, and breeds but I specialize in rescues, senior dogs, and dogs with special needs. I have also fostered rescue dogs and have a soft spot for dogs who have been labeled "difficult." I believe that dogs and cats are a great gift to humans and teach us patience, love, and compassion. My beloved rescue Chihuahua, Lumpia, crossed the Rainbow Bridge 6 years ago and taught me many lessons. I also have cat sitting experience. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I work full time at the office Monday-Friday so I am only doing drop-ins during the week and housesitting on the weekends at this time. I prefer to house sit dogs and cats so they can be comfortable in their own home. For cats I normally do drop-in visits only.
The median cost per visit for pet sitting in Downtown is $30

Paula did a wonderful job looking after our cat while we were away. She sent timely messages and pictures, played with our normally shy cat, and even made sure all was well in our home while we were away. We will certainly contact her again for our next trip.

Janessa was the ultimate cat sitter and was wonderful start to finish. I have an especially anxious cat who doesn't deal with separation well and Janessa was a professional through and through. I appreciated the daily photo dumps and would recommend her to any cat owners in need of a sitter!

Amy was the best cat sitter we could have asked for when we were leaving our son for a week. Our hearts were calmed as soon as we saw how well she got along with Wallace and all the care and love she showed him. Detailed check in messages and a stack of gorgeous photos of our boy every day— we are so grateful for Amy being here for our beloved cat while we were traveling and could not recommend her enough.

Bailey was an awesome sitter! She communicated clearly, took very sweet pictures of Tippy, and always sent updates on how the visits went. You can tell Bailey takes her care seriously. She made sure my place was clean and that Tippy got some good play and attention. I would absolutely recommend Bailey to others.

Miranda was great! My cat Simon just got out of the emergency vet before we had to leave for a trip. Miranda was great at accommodating my lack of service and making sure I knew exactly what was going on with Simon. Simon puked a lot and Miranda cleaned everything up so when I came home I could barely tell Simon got sick. I really appreciated her help!

Caroline was a perfect sitter for my cat Oshi! I felt at ease knowing she was checking in on him each day and she was super responsive and helpful when I had a situation with my apartment locks changing. I would recommend her anyone and will absolutely book her again! Thanks for everything Caroline!

After a few trial runs with a few various sitters, Helen has become my #1 go-to for watching my two boy cats. She’s quick to respond, so easy to work with and I feel completely at ease knowing that my cats are well cared for while I am away. Her reports are thorough and help me feel like I’m not missing a beat while away. Would absolutely recommend her!
