My goal is for your pet to feel like they’re getting a second home—not just a sitter. I work a 9-5 during the week but work from home Mondays and Thursdays with plenty of flexibility. I’m home most of the time from Friday night through Sunday night as well. I typically don’t stay out all day and will be home about every 4 hours or so at most. The days that I work in the office I leave the house at 8:15 and get home by 6pm. I have a fenced yard and also live just a few blocks away from the beach. In my past experience, the dogs I’ve cared for have always enjoyed walks and jogs by ocean beach. Pets are allowed on my furniture and are allowed to explored the bedrooms, kitchen, den and back yard. I provide a safe, calm, and pet-friendly environment where pets can feel comfortable and cared for. I carefully follow each pet’s routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, medication, and any special instructions. I always supervise pets, keep doors and gates secure, and make sure they have a clean, comfortable space to relax. I’m patient with that. I don’t rush a nervous dog, and I don’t force interactions. Consistent routine, plenty of attention, and updates so you’re never left wondering how things are going. I’m currently on a gap year — using this time to study and save up before heading into grad school, so my schedule is wide open. No 9-to-5 pulling me away, no last-minute “sorry, something came up.” I can do early morning walks before the day gets busy, midday drop-ins, evening feedings, or overnight/multi-day stays if you’re traveling. I’m based nearby and can usually work around your timing rather than the other way around — if your schedule shifts last minute, I’m easy to reach and quick to adjust. Your pet’s safety is never something I’m relaxed about. I always double check gates, leashes, and doors before letting anyone off leash or out into a yard. My own dog has taught me how fast a small dog can slip through a gap you didn’t think was a gap. I keep a close eye during play so things don’t get too rough, and I always have water available and know where the nearest emergency vet is before I start a job, just in case. I treat every home I’m in like it’s not mine. I respect your space, keep things tidy, lock up the way you had it, and don’t invite anyone else over while I’m looking after your pet. Same goes for your pet themselves. I don’t force anything on them. If a dog needs space before they trust me, I give them that space. Trust isn’t something I expect on day one. I earn it by showing up, paying attention, and being the same reliable person every single time. Communication is a big part of this too, so you’ll get updates and photos while you’re away.

About: Since I was 10 I have had dogs in my life. From the loving ones who to sit and be pet to the ones who are busy busy busy and need a job, I have experienced most of the likes of pets. As for personalities, I can take care of the overly anxious ones to the super social ones. So if you need a couch potato for your pet, or a marathon runner, I can be your sitter! I love them all! I work out regularly (2-3 hrs) either at the gym or running outside so that can be extra convenient if your pet is active as well! I am also doing school part time (1-3 hrs). Other than that, the rest of my day is open! I live in a duplex with no other animals. Lots of open space for them to roam around. Also very close to Golden Gate park for longer excursions.

About: *covid-19 vaxxed and boosted* Hi! I’m a Bay Area grown college student. I’ve lived in the city for 3 years now and have grown up taking care of dogs, mainly large sized ones. I love being with animals in general, so doing this as a side job is almost more like a hobby I’m passionate about and paid for :) Many friends, family, and neighbors have had me sit for them for many years! I aim to engage with dogs and play with them how they want to be played with. I will treat your dogs and pets like family, the same way I treated mine growing up. My approach to caring for animals is first to follow the owners instructions and pets body language. I follow this up with loving and disciplined quality engagement. I always follow instructions and aim to do whatever possible for your pet to have a vacation as well as you! . I’m open to small, medium, and large dogs and have experience caring for cats as well. I click best with medium energy dogs that I can take out to a park or the beach, but also cuddle with while watching a movie. I attend school and work part time. I’m home all days of the week except for Tuesday’s, Thursday’s, and Saturday’s, when I have work/class for about 6hrs. What this means for your pet is expecting to not be alone for more than 4-6hrs at a time. Your pet will have access to the entire house, with the backyard accessible if needed. When home alone, pets can roam throughout house, and will most likely float to whichever roommate is there to love them. I love including pets into parts of my day like joining me for an errand (with the owner’s permission).
