“Dave folllows our senior dog’s needs well. He really enjoys his work. He sends great updates. And is very caring to our dogs. Given enough time they’d want to go home with him!”

About: I take caring for your fur babies seriously—whether it’s a daily walk or an overnight stay. I’ve been trusted by close friends and even my boss to provide reliable, loving overnight care for their pets, knowing I’ll treat them like family. I also have experience fostering rescue dogs with special needs. One was visually impaired, and another was recovering from a fractured hip after a hit-and-run. I nursed both back to health with patience and compassion, and today they’re thriving in their forever homes. Whether I’m stopping by for a walk or staying overnight, I bring a calm, attentive presence and a genuine love for animals. Currently, working from home! So I'd be happy to have a furry co-worker with me during the day. Weekends I can be available for overnights. At my home, dogs can enjoy a fenced backyard or my neighborhood has lots of grassy areas for stress-free potty breaks and peaceful strolls. I also have a crate available for small to medium-sized dogs who feel more secure with their own cozy space. When I walk dogs, I go at their pace—stopping for sniffs, water, or just a break when needed. I believe walks should be enjoyable and tailored to each dog’s personality and energy level. In your home, I maintain your pet’s routine as closely as possible so they feel secure in a familiar space. I’m tidy, respectful, and always alert to your pet’s needs, whether it’s playtime, medication, or simply companionship.
“Mikele was patient, communicative, and prompt. Even though my dog didn’t warm up, she handled the situation with professionalism and genuine care. I would recommend her as someone who is very reliable and thoughtful.”

“Joseph did a great job with my cats and even got one of them to warm up to him a bit about halfway through (both of my cats are very skittish). He kept my place neat and tidy while I was away, too. I will continue to utilize his services as much as he is available!”

“Brie was a pleasure to work with—I needed some last minute help to look after my cat Meatball and Brie was quick to respond and super assuring both in how she interacted with him when meeting and sharing her experiences taking care of animals—I knew he was in good hands. I am happy to have met her for future bookings!”

About: Hi! I’ve been caring for dogs for the past four years since moving to San Francisco. I started by helping friends and neighbors with their dogs, and I genuinely love getting to know each dog’s personality and routine. I’m very attentive, detail-oriented, and always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Whether that means sticking closely to feeding schedules, giving extra attention on walks, or making sure they get plenty of playtime and affection, I take pet care seriously and treat every dog like my own. I’m happy caring for energetic dogs, shy dogs, seniors, and pups who need a little extra patience and attention! Pet care fits very naturally into my routine because I work my own schedule and have a lot of flexibility throughout the week. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, feedings, and playtime as needed, and I make sure pets get plenty of attention and consistency while you are away. I enjoy building pet care into my day and always try to be dependable, communicative, and accommodating to each pet’s routine. I focus on providing attentive, reliable care while keeping pets comfortable in their familiar environment. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions. I’m very communicative and make sure to send daily photo updates and check-ins so you always know how your pet is doing. I also respond quickly to messages and am happy to adjust care as needed to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.
About: Hi there! I grew up caring and raising for 5 dogs up until I went to college. During COVID my family and I adopted a Doberman/German Shepherd puppy from a rescue and I spent the next 2 years caring and training him before I moved back to SF. I adopted a Goldendoodle puppy, Barley, about 3 years ago. Raising a puppy on your own is not easy, but I've learned a lot! My own pup is anxious and takes time to warm up to strangers and other dogs. I've worked hard to combat his reactivity through training and am proud to say we have made lots of progress. I am truly a dog lover and deeply care for any dog that comes my way. Throughout my time with my own dogs, I have also looked after my family & friend's pups as well. I have a great understanding on how to care for dogs from their puppy stage, into their teens phase, then into their senior years. With my past experiences with many dogs, I feel well equipped to help take care of pups of all ages, sizes and behavioral quirks. I currently have a hybrid full-time work schedule! I am typically in the office on Tues/Thurs and am available in the evenings after work. I work from home on the other days. My personal schedule is very flexible so I am more than happy to chat through schedules to see what works for you and your pup! I will always suggest a meet and greet before confirming a booking to ensure that you and your pup are both comfortable with me! I will take detailed notes on how you'd like me to spend a drop-in visit or walk with your dog. Your dog's needs will be met and I will make sure they have some fun at the same time.

About: I have experience taking care of dogs and cats, including feeding them, keeping their spaces clean, and making sure they’re comfortable and safe. I’m good at noticing their behavior and responding to their needs. I’m reliable, patient, and enjoy spending time caring for animals. I’m currently working full time. I have open availability on the weekends. I am open to week nights if needed just need a 24 hour notice. I care for pets in other people’s homes by making sure they are fed, have fresh water, and are comfortable. I follow any specific instructions given by the owner, keep their space clean, and spend time with them so they feel safe and not alone. I pay attention to their behavior and make sure their needs are met while their owners are away.
About: Hellooo I’m Merci! 🌻 As a previous dog and cat owner (amongst other animals), I have significant experience with caring for them and would love to assist your family with your pet care needs! Open to regular schedules and occasional drop ins. I am currently in a life transition and this is my primary source of income at this time, therefore this is my priority I will not take on more than two jobs at a time and I make sure that there are no scheduling conflicts. Soon, I will be a CASA in addition to studying hospitality, human development, and counseling to better assist any children and families that I am privileged to work with. I look forward to assisting you!! 🌻 I’m currently in school and working part time. I like to go in walks throughout the day to help clear my mind, so walking dogs is no problem. For pet sitting, I’m open to the needs of the owners and pets. I follow routines already put in place or I can help to develop one to best serve the owners and pets. I’m ok with cleaning up after pets as long as I’m aware of where the cleaning materials are. I will use caution and ask for assistance if any special fabric, carpeting, or furniture has been affected.
About: I’m a veteran volunteer at SPCA’s around the Bay Area, with more than 5 years of experience. My cat has also gone through a plethora of problems from fleas to chronic diarrhea to tapeworms. My animal senses tingle at the smallest change from the norm and I will be sure to communicate any and all issues to you so you don't fret over your baby :) I have a full work from home job so I will have plenty of time to play with and take care of your fur baby! With a flexible schedule, I can provide the attention and care your furry friend deserves throughout the day. Your pet won't just have a sitter; they'll have a companion who's readily available for play and companionship I notice the smallest things so I can ensure your feline friend or canine companion receives personalized care during my cat and dog sitting services. From secure play areas to attentive monitoring, every detail is crafted with their well-being in mind. Your pets are not just guests; they're family, and their safety is my top priority.
About: I have cared for all different types of dogs for as long as I can remember. I grew up with them in the house and always took responsibility for their care. When family and friends leave town I always take care of them if I can. Having grown up with dogs, I have also cared for senior dogs and been responsible for administering medications. I have just finished a job contract, and while I am waiting to start graduate school in the fall I will have more than enough free time to care for your pets. My days will be relatively free so I can be with your pet whenever is convenient for you. My weekends are going to be a bit more touch and go, but weekdays will be nothing but time to love and care for your furry family. I like to keep a very hands/eye on approach to pet care. They will get constant attention (of course as long as they want it) when I'm around. I am also able to crate dogs if needed!
“Olivia is so attentive with my cat and gives great summaries of her visits. She is my go to sitter bc I know I can count on her. She is very reliable and great with animals.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was young. My oldest memories include playing with my family labs who were sweet, silly, treat-loving dogs. About 15 years ago, my family adopted Clover, a Schnauzer-Poodle who loves basking in the sun. More recently, my family adopted Theo, a chocolate lab who loves playing with his toys and running around outside. I have always enjoys playing with dogs, taking them in walks, or simply lounging by their side on a cozy night in. Throughout my childhood and into college, I was always taking care of dogs and cats to help out my neighbors. In 2024, I moved in with roommates and an orange cat who I have watched many times while my roommates are out of town. Since 2025, I have been regularly house and pet sitting for a lovely dog and cat, and am looking to expand my pet-care opportunities. I love spending time with animals and appreciate that each animal has their own personality and boundaries. I have some training skills, and have taken care of some senior pets as well. I have watched over some reactive dogs, but prefer taking care of dogs that are calmer and approachable. I currently work full time remotely, so I have ample time to walk dogs between meetings and tasks. My work schedule is flexible. I am an early riser so can get in a walk before work as well. I can accommodate most days, with limitations on Mondays and Wednesday evenings. Let’s chat more about your needs and scheduling. When caring for pets, I try to keep their routine consistent and follow all instructions provided by the owners to ensure they stay safe and comfortable. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, playtime, and movement based on their personality. I also keep the home tidy and clean. Communication is important to me, I’m always happy to send updates on how things are going. My ultimate goal is to make sure that both the pet and owner feel confident with my care.
About: My son Nicholas and I have have been lifetime animal & dog people, and have had multiple dogs in our lifetimes. We both work from home, and share a love for taking care of animals. Our dog of almost 14 years passed away last year, and while we aren't ready to get a dog again, we've been missing the energy of having a dog in our home. We're experienced with both puppy's and senior dogs, as well as the health & aging related cycles of pet-owning, having cared for our dog through cancer treatments, kidney disease, arthritis, and more. We live near Golden Gate Park and love taking walks in our neighborhood and in the park and happy to walk your dog in their favorite neighborhoods! We've been part of this platform as pet parents for over 10 years, so we understand the process from both sides. Our experience has taught us the importance of asking thoughtful questions before every stay to ensure your pet receives the personalized care, comfort, and attention they deserve. We work remotely and have the flexibility to get your dog out for frequent walks and potty breaks. This also means we can give lots of scratches and pets during the day. We have enclosed front yard that the dogs can roam and do their potty breaks. If your dog is older, we have dog proof steps that we put on our wood floors to prevent our dog from slipping. We also have a new dog bed and dog stairs if needed.
“Samantha was wonderful with my pets. My cats require a few extra steps since they do not get along very well, but she followed my instructions perfectly without any issues. She was very communicative, arrived when she said she would, and most importantly, I came home to two happy cats. I would absolutely recommend Samantha, and she will be the first person I reach out to next time I need a sitter.”

“Deirdre is wonderful. Right off the bat when I first met her I got an excellent first impression. She is warm, friendly and was great with Stella. She communicated and provided great pictures of her visit. I’m so happy to have found her and can’t wait to use her again.”

“Alejandrina took great care of my car. I appreciated the detailed pictures in her reports and how she was able to handle unforeseen situations without need for much input while I was away. She responds promptly to messages and communicated in a straightforward way. I highly recommend Nina as a pet sitter.”

Jacob is SO courteous, kind and communicative! It is easy to trust him with our little pup, and he makes us feel at ease while we’re away. I’m confident Boog will get thoughtful attention and genuine care when he’s with Jacob. He was an easy “yes” for us to book regular services!

Abigail did a wonderful job taking care of our cat, Owen, for a week we were away. Owen is a senior cat who’s very attached to his humans, and usually does not warm up to strangers easily; but even though it was her first time meeting Owen, Abigail quickly established a rapport with him. She clearly understands cats and enjoys interacting with them. We really appreciated her updates and photos, which helped us to rest easy knowing that Owen was safe and happy during our absence. We would recommend Abigail without hesitation.

Couldn’t have asked for a better first Rover experience. Cameron was a dream to work with from the start and we knew from the first test visit that our cat, Ollie, also liked her. She was responsive, responsible, proactive, and clearly knows cats. Her updates and photos were thorough and kept us assured throughout the trip that Ollie was well taken care of. We would not hesitate to work with Cameron again.

Brooke is an animal lover with a very calm demeanor. She has a wonderful sensibility when it comes to dogs — it shows she used to train them! Poppy loved her immediately. Brooke was thorough in her questions about routine, schedule etc. Brooke is responsible, communicative, and I will definitely be using her again to housesit Poppy and do drop in visits. I felt at ease leaving her in my home with Poppy.

Dana did a fantastic job taking care of our cat Ralphie! She was friendly and professional during our meet and greet, and Ralphie instantly warmed to her. While we were gone, she was reliable and communicative, always sending thorough updates and lots of great pictures. We will definitely try to book her again when we leave town in the future — can’t recommend her highly enough!
