About: I’ve been caring for dogs since 2013 and dogs have always been a huge part of my life. My first pup, Miko was a Pomeranian I adopted as a senior in 2013. He sadly passed away in 2018, but he taught me so much about caring for older dogs and giving them the patience, comfort, and love they deserve. In 2019, I adopted Dash, and it’s been me and him ever since. Through Dash, I’ve also gained a lot of experience caring for a dog with separation anxiety, and I understand how stressful it can be to leave your pup with someone new. Because of that, I’m especially attentive to dogs who struggle when their humans are away. I have a flexible schedule so your dog will never be left alone while in my care. I want them to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for and not like they’ve simply been dropped off somewhere. When your dog boards with me, it will be a team effort between me and Dash! Dash loves having company and if your pup is comfortable and enjoys other dogs, they’ll have a friendly companion to hang out and play with throughout their stay. Of course, I always take each dog’s personality and comfort level into consideration and make sure interactions are safe and positive. My goal is to make your dog feel like they’re having a little vacation of their own while giving you peace of mind that they’re in loving, attentive hands. I’ll treat your pup like family and keep you updated so you never have to wonder how they’re doing! 🐾❤️ I have a flexible schedule so I can give your fur babies plenty of attention and companionship throughout the day. I would feed your dog after their morning walk and night walk unless otherwise instructed. I would take the dogs on a potty break every 4 hours unless otherwise instructed. My dog’s name is Dash for a reason! 🤪 He loves to try to run out whenever he sees a door open and can be a bit of an escape artist. Because of this, I learned to be especially careful when opening exterior doors and making sure the dog is secured before opening the door.
About: I have a family dog, a Cockapoo, back home in Ireland and have years of experience helping care for her, including walks, feeding, playtime and lots of attention. I absolutely love dogs and really miss having one around! I’m caring, reliable and attentive, and I’d treat your dog like my own. I’m especially comfortable caring for small dogs and smaller medium-sized breeds. I work full-time during the week, but I’m available for dog sitting on weekends and can sometimes accommodate weekday evenings depending on my schedule. I’m happy to discuss what works best for you and your dog. I’ll always follow your dog’s usual routine and any instructions you provide, including feeding, walks and house rules. I’ll make sure they’re comfortable, safe and get plenty of attention, and I’m happy to send regular updates and photos while they’re in my care.
“Kevin is incredibly professional, thoughtful and thorough. He took the time to learn about our pets, their needs and our questions/concerns. I highly recommend Kevin!”

“My usual cat-sitter had to cancel last minute, but Sammy stepped up and was extemely responsive, responsible, and communicative. She followed instructions very well - which was especially impressive, as we weren't able to meet in person beforehand (so all of my instructions were given over a video call). I felt incredibly reassured that my cat was being well taken care of while I was away and would not hesitate to use Sammy as a sitter again.”

“Caroline took amazing care of my Persian cat, OJ! He got lots of cuddles, and I received lots of updates and photos. Caroline went above and beyond helping me get my keys back when I broke my phone while traveling. OJ is looking forward to visits from Caroline in the future!”

About: Hi All! 👋🏻 I'm Taylor, an animal lover based in Russian Hill, SF. I provide reliable dog walking and cat sitting services with plenty of care, attention, and patience. Every pet has their own personality and routine, and I enjoy getting to know what makes them happiest. Whether your dog is up for a leisurely stroll, an energetic adventure, or your cat just needs company and care while you're away, I'll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well looked after. You'll also receive LOTS of photos and videos throughout our time together (sent right to your personal phone number, too!), so you can see exactly what your furry friend is up to and feel like you're right there with them. I recently moved from Canada to San Francisco with my husband as he pursues his career, and I left my 9–5 job in tech. This gives me a flexible schedule, so I'm available most days of the week (including weekends!) for dog walks, drop-in visits, and cat care. I love spending time outdoors and can't wait to meet your furry friend! Your pet's safety and comfort are always my top priorities. For dog walks, I choose safe, dog-friendly routes and avoid busy streets whenever possible. Whether it's a quiet neighborhood stroll or a nearby trail, I'll tailor each walk to your dog's energy level and preferences. If your pup has a favorite route, I'd be happy to follow it! During drop-in visits, I'll make sure your pet receives plenty of attention, playtime and lots of love.
“Gaby and Juan were great! They showed up on time, followed all instructions, and were very kind with our shy boy. They also provided cute updates and photos. Would definitely use them again!”

“Jessica is just wonderful! I now understand why she has so many five start reviews. She is kind, patient, responsive and it’s clear that our little fur baby Chloe loves her. Jessica is always timely and responsible and sends lots of pics during drop in visits or walks. Leaving your pet with someone else is always a little stressful, but we rest easy knowing that someone as wonderful as Jessica is taking such great care of Chloe!”

About: Hi, I'm Femke. A lifelong animal lover, I’ve been the go-to pet sitter and dog walker for friends, family, and neighbors for almost a decade. What started as a hobby quickly became something I couldn’t imagine not doing. Now, I’m excited to turn my passion for dogs into a full-time career, preparing for a degree in Cynology (dog behavior) next year. With hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, I’ve developed a calm, patient, and intuitive approach. I’ve walked high-energy pups who need structure and stimulation, cared for seniors who require slower walks and medication, and provided companionship to anxious or shy dogs who just need someone gentle and understanding. I’m confident in handling leash reactivity, administering basic medications, and keeping routines consistent to help dogs feel safe and secure. My focus is always on building trust, so your dog feels comfortable with me, and fully enjoys the time we spend together. I’m studying part-time to prepare for my Cynology (dog behavior) degree next year, and have no other major commitments - your dog gets my full attention. My days revolve around walks, drop-ins, and overnight stays, so I’m available on weekdays, weekends, and (most) holidays. Your pet’s safety is my top priority. I take the time to build trust with each dog, starting with a meet-and-greet to understand their routines, triggers, and preferences. During walks, I always use secure leashes and harnesses and stick to safe, familiar routes. I will not do off-leash unless in client-approved spaces and with your explicit consent. When caring for pets in your home, I maintain your routines, respect your space, and provide real-time updates with photos and notes, so you’re always in the loop. My goal is to give you peace of mind and give your dog(s) the care and companionship they deserve.
“Sabrina was incredible! My cat had to take pills twice a day and she was always on time and had no issues giving it to her. Also very sweet, my cat was having the best time with Sabrina. I will definitely book again next time!”

“Carolyn is so great with our lab Morty! She’s always very responsive and is flexible with last minute requests and changes! Will always keep her at the top of our list!”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs, cats, bunnies, hamsters, and reptiles my whole life. I have no problem taking care of all pets. I also have pet sat for friends and family. I love spending time and caring for animals! I am available on the weekends and have plenty of time to spend with the pet. I will take the dog outside frequently on walks and give a lot of love. I have an apartment and a very spacious room for the dog to stay in. There will be frequency potty breaks and walks to the park!
About: I love dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages! I enjoy being active outdoors and going on walks around the city, so I’m happy to take your pup on strolls with me :) I am available for dog walking, drop in visits, and house-sitting. Please contact me if you are interested! I work remotely on east coast time, so I am mostly available in the afternoons on weekdays (from 2pm) or some weekends for dog services. I want for your pup to feel safe and comfortable with me, so I am hoping to stick to their routines as much as possible, in familiar settings if not at home.
“I will book Avery again and again for sitting needs and highly recommend for the best care of your pets too! I was actually lucky enough to have Avery cat sit for my bud Midnight when we needed it most. It’s the worst case scenario but while sitting Midnight had a medical incident that was purely a result of his age. Avery called me and I was with her over FaceTime as she talked to him, comforted him, and loaded him to go to the vet. It’s a scary situation and was so thankful for her care while I was away. For someone to be so sweet and organized and caring in a situation like that I’m so so grateful. Not to mention the oh so happy pictures of the treats and pets while she was checking in! Should have left this review a while ago :) thank you Avery!”

About: I was doing Rover in the Washington DC area for a few years and absolutely loved it! I just recently moved to the Bay Area and am ready to pick back up where I left off! Can’t wait to spend time with your doggos :) See schedule below: I work in the office 4 days a week so I am free to walk after from 6-10pm 4 days a week and Friday all day. I’m also free on the weekends for walks, pet sitting, and house sitting! Since I’m new to the city, I love exploring and taking long walks around the local San Francisco neighborhoods and to the nearby parks. The weather has been perfect to get your doggo outside for some exercise and fresh air! I’ve had dogs since I was born and have been helping take care of my (2) family dogs Laila and Colby for as long as I can remember. I’ve also helped out with friends dogs, neighbors dogs, etc. I love dogs and am very patient, active, and fun. I would have one of my own but it’s too expensive right now living in the city. I’m working in the office 4 days and a week and take late night walks to get my steps in and get active outside. I love dogs and started Rover a few years ago on the East Coast. I’d love to have a furry friend to join me on my walks! I live in a one bedroom apartment and would love to have a furry friend to keep me company. I can provide bathroom breaks every few hours, activity time at local parks, lots of cuddles on the couch, and play time at home! I’m flexible to adapt to what the dog needs.
“Alex took amazing care of my cat! I am new to the area and was nervous about finding a sitter, but thankfully I found Alex! She left very detailed notes after each visit and included lots of photos which I really appreciated. She was very communicative and responsive as well.”

About: I love animals and enjoy their company. My dog Brooklin adopted me in 2021 and we’ve been having a great time. She rates me 5 stars every dog walk and adventure we go on. I don’t have plans for the holidays this year, and I thought to spread the cheers by dog sitting other people’s dogs so they can enjoy their time. I have a fully fenced backyard where the dogs can enjoy a little bit of freedom. I am a dog owner myself so everything is secure.
“Andy was great, I highly recommend him! My dog Teddy took an immediate liking to him and looked happy and content in the photos and videos he sent. Andy followed my instructions and left my home neat and tidy. Communication was excellent before and during the visit.”

Paula did a wonderful job looking after our cat while we were away. She sent timely messages and pictures, played with our normally shy cat, and even made sure all was well in our home while we were away. We will certainly contact her again for our next trip.

Janessa was the ultimate cat sitter and was wonderful start to finish. I have an especially anxious cat who doesn't deal with separation well and Janessa was a professional through and through. I appreciated the daily photo dumps and would recommend her to any cat owners in need of a sitter!

Amy was the best cat sitter we could have asked for when we were leaving our son for a week. Our hearts were calmed as soon as we saw how well she got along with Wallace and all the care and love she showed him. Detailed check in messages and a stack of gorgeous photos of our boy every day— we are so grateful for Amy being here for our beloved cat while we were traveling and could not recommend her enough.

Bailey was an awesome sitter! She communicated clearly, took very sweet pictures of Tippy, and always sent updates on how the visits went. You can tell Bailey takes her care seriously. She made sure my place was clean and that Tippy got some good play and attention. I would absolutely recommend Bailey to others.

Miranda was great! My cat Simon just got out of the emergency vet before we had to leave for a trip. Miranda was great at accommodating my lack of service and making sure I knew exactly what was going on with Simon. Simon puked a lot and Miranda cleaned everything up so when I came home I could barely tell Simon got sick. I really appreciated her help!

Caroline was a perfect sitter for my cat Oshi! I felt at ease knowing she was checking in on him each day and she was super responsive and helpful when I had a situation with my apartment locks changing. I would recommend her anyone and will absolutely book her again! Thanks for everything Caroline!

After a few trial runs with a few various sitters, Helen has become my #1 go-to for watching my two boy cats. She’s quick to respond, so easy to work with and I feel completely at ease knowing that my cats are well cared for while I am away. Her reports are thorough and help me feel like I’m not missing a beat while away. Would absolutely recommend her!
