While at the vet, she checked in with me on how he was doing and worked with me even if any requests needed to be changed. She kept me updated constantly, cleaned up the messes and kept my apartment tidy & really helped keep me at ease. Archie is a sweet cat but he definitely needs a lot of attention and I felt so confident leaving him in her care. About: I live in an apartment in Pacific Heights with my shih-tzu-poodle pup Bubba. Both Bubba and I are used to having other pups around as I fostered dogs for two years and started sitting on Rover in June 2014. About: I am a dog lover, and at times a dog at heart! These creatures fill my void that people can’t while I work as a Nurse. I have grown up with both a Bichon Frise and a Maltese Shi tzu. But whenever I got a chance to be around my cousins doodle or sisters poodle my family felt that much bigger. I’ve always helped take care of our animals as I take care of people. Whether it’s cleaning, feeding, or walking them, it is similar to my full time job as a nurse, just being different mammals. As a nurse, I currently work 3 days for 12 hour shifts. This means, I have 4 days off. However, the days are always different for each week. I am unable to take care of any animals in my home at this time as my rental does not allow for pets! However, if ever given a chance to sit at your place, I’ll abide by your rules.
About: I'm a communications professional for 30 years now, so it comes natural for me to share with pet owners every milestone of any day they're apart from their pets and trusting me with their care. For 20 years, I've cared for my friend's dogs, cats, and chickens in the Bay Area just for the fun of it. Now I'd like to open my experience and hope it will lead to more travel when I retire in a few year. Also, I have a veterinarian friend on speed dial. I've never had to call in an emergency. I go downtown twice a week, but I have a retired neighbor who volunteers at Animal Control and the SF Zoo who is nuts about dog-walking to fill-in for noontime walks. He truly treated Bilbo as one of his own and I can tell Bilbo had such a great time staying with him and Hank! I appreciated the updates and photos that Paul provided and never felt concerned or worried about Bilbo while I was gone.
