Pet care experience
I am a current dog volunteer mentor, photographer, and foster parent with the San Francisco SPCA, and have eight of dog socializing experience, having worked with hundreds of dogs over that period. I believe positive reinforcement is the best method of dog training. I previously fostered two senior pitbulls with terminal illnesses who lived out their last days with me, what life changing experiences they were! I have also fostered senior dogs from Muttville and dogs with medical needs from SPCA. My last foster dog was so special, I adopted him and made him a member of the family! I love welcoming dogs into my home and making their day. My favorite moments are hearing them snore while fully stretched out in their bed, always bring a smile to me!

Great sitter! We've known Patty for a while and River adores her, so was super comfortable having her board her. She has the magic touch and knows how to get River to eat (she's a picky eater). Came home full, tired and happy, thank you!

I live in a gated building so there’s extra security. Have a small balcony for sun bathing during the day! Neighborhood has numerous parks so plenty of dog walking routes to choose from.

I practice positive reinforcement and do not support equipment such as prong collars. I welcome dogs under 100 lbs/45 kgs and over 1 year old, must be housebroken. Let's meet first to ensure your dog is comfortable with Finn. Senior dogs and pitbulls have a very special place in my heart!
A typical day
I have my own dog Finn, super friendly 5 y.o. border collie mix, and we'd love your dog to join us for long walks and/or sleeping in the sun by the window. Our favorite walks take us through Dogpatch, Mission Bay, along the Central Waterfront, Heron Head, Glen Canyon, and McLaren Park. Finn has successfully welcomed both large and small dogs into our home; he respects senior dogs (who couldn't be bothered to play with him) while also enjoys playing with younger and/or more energetic dogs.

I work at home full time and exercise my own dog daily, it’s a great balance of relaxation inside and play and exercise outside. Once your dog becomes familiar with me and Finn, they can expect fun hikes and beach walks off leash.
